These are places I would like to dwell.

I love a book that makes you weep until your tear ducts empty. I love a black moment like I've been handed a diamond ring. Does that make me a sadist?

I'm very excited about this new series. Breaking Bad in the saddle is how I explain it. But I've also made some creative choices in how the story is told and it's going to be a blast to write.
The only part of the book written in the female gunslinger's point of view is the prologue. From there, we have to rely on townsfolk and her possible victims to tell what happens.
It's a challenge, but I think a challenge makes the writing better.

Next, I've got another Christmas story coming out next week called "Kiss This." It's set against the backdrop of a winter wedding in the snowy mountains. A contemporary romance, but with a familiar carriage driver making an appearance.

On December 4th, I've got a surprise release coming. That's all I'll say.

And then, for the final release in 2013, Collecting Isobelle. Montgomery and Morna's sister finally gets the spotlight.

And some people will be happy to hear that the sequel to Somewhere Over the Freaking Rainbow is in the works. It should be completed in January and available in February.

So, that's it for now. Lots more in the works for 2014. At least twice as many books out next year. Five more stories are planned for the Scarlet Plumiere series, all of which are on the 2014 schedule. And besides the western series, I'll be starting the Ghosts of Culloden Moor series--after spending April in Scotland and visiting the ghosts personally. Now THAT should be an amazing series.

On a slightly personal note, I'm going to try to limit my future genres and focus on Scottish, Western and Regency. The YA series will wrap up in February and I've decided against publishing the Keefer Boone adventures. Maybe when I've got grandkids who need something to read...

Plans changed and I ended up writing a time travel/Christmas novel called "Christmas Kiss." It will be available by the end of August.

The current project is NOT WITHOUT JULIET, the sequel to GOING BACK FOR ROMEO. And a companion novella should be coming out the same time. Both projects will be available the end of September or early October. It's going to be a very Highlander packed fall.

Sharon Page just reviewed SOMEWHERE OVER THE FREAKING RAINBOW on the Barnes and Noble Review. The article is called "Beach Reads You Can't Put Down" in which she compares it to LOST. Not kidding. That was pretty freaking exciting.

After that, I'm releasing another novella. This time it's a little medieval romance that I've been packing around in my heart for a couple of years.
