I LOVE THIS LITTLE BOOK! Or let me elaborate this book captured both my mind and my geeky little soul. Heather Hollenman brings spice and flavor to an otherwise drab topic; not many people could write a grammar book I’d want to read on a Friday night. I learned so many valuable tips and can’t wait to put them to use! Everyone should read this book, regardless of what they write: fiction, speeches, resumes, or even emails. I highly recommend!
Excellent, well-written, practical and written with flair! I photocopied a few pages from this book and have it hanging above my desk where I write. The explanations of how to use words comparing them to cooking works for me. I LOVE this book.
Hands down, How to Write with Flair is the best resource I've read in the ten years I've been writing. The tips Heather shares on using vivid verbs and punctuation marks to take your writing to the next level has transformed the way I write. Must have for every writer!
This clever, entertaining little book equips a writer with an effective understanding of grammar. Professor Holleman shrinks Shrunk and magically minimizes Sin and Syntax (also both great resources).
