I honestly had no idea that this collection was included on Good Reads. I wrote the majority of this book in high school and after I graduated a good friend of mine, Steven King, was killed in a car accident. With his parents help we then gathered his poems (he was a much more talented writer than myself) and published his poems and mine. It is a humble tribute to a good friend who was cut down just as his life was beginning.
