Windows 98 in a Nutshell, the latest addition to the family of O'Reilly's Nutshell books (an extremely useful set of references for developers, system administrators, and users), covers the current version of the Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows 98. As a dedicated customer of O'Reilly's "In a Nutshell" series for years, this book on Windows 95 is a great reference for all of the under the hood commands. While Win 95's popularity has bottomed out since the introduction of WinXP and Windows 7, this book has become overtaken by events... but still has its uses if you're running '95.

This is actually the edition I wrote. Windows 98 in a Nutshell and Windows XP in a Nutshell were later editions adapted from the original book that I wrote with the help of Troy Mott.
