It’s a tongue twister of a book. Spoiler alert: the Bigger Digger is the big reveal. We’ve probably read this book about as anyone. It’s also the right size for kids

We love this book. The nonsensical way it's written in rhyme is appealing to little ears. It's our almost 2 year olds favorite book.

This book shows how several trucks get stuck in the mud. When another truck tries to help the other truck get out of the mud, that truck gets stuck too! But the big dump truck helps everybody get out of the mud at the end of the story. I give this book 4 stars out of 5. I really enjoy how the author plays around with the text by turning it sideways on some pages, and bolding some words. She uses many colorful adjectives that will keep children engaged in the story. “Bigger digger, dumper digger, to the rescue! Dig, bigger, dumper digger, bigger digger, do (pg 18)!
This story is not only fun for children to follow along with, but also is hopeful. It shows them that even though all the trucks were stuck in the mud and felt hopeless, a bigger dump truck came to their rescue and saved them all. It shows the importance of relying on friends to help pick you up when you fall.

Highly recommend!! My 18 month year old son LOVES THIS. The pages are thick but not like a board baby book and he laughs at me reading as its like a really long tongue twister. So much fun. Had it for a day and already read it 5 times!

My 2-year-old loves this book. It's got a great rhythm that races you through the text. It's a bit of a tongue-twister in places (or maybe that's just me!). It also manages to squeeze in lots of different construction vehicles AND have a bit of a plot.

Right now I have a soft spot for any book that is entertaining and my Kindergarten son can read on his own. This book is perfect on both counts. And how can you not love a giraffe in a digger?
