The story
Cursed for hundreds of years by a rejected suitor and an ultimate betrayal, slayed every day over and over again, Sarah Blackwood had been holding on only for revenge. She had never thought she would recover fromÌý this soul-destroying nightmare after spending lifetimes there. But when Lorie appears in her created reality, finally she dares to hope.
Con and Lorie have always known their Triad was incomplete. Lorie has been dreaming about Sarah in all his life, and when he finally finds her trapped in a cursed book for three hundred years now, is determined to free her.
My thoughts
Book 2, Wicked Bad, ends with Lorie being trapped somewhere in the past, trying to rescue his and Con’s missing Triad. It was really intriguing, and I was looking forward to see how they manage to free Sarah from her personal hell.
Well, it was kind of a disappointment, as book 3 starts with rescuing Sarah effortlessly. The rest of the story is about breaking the complicated, living, three-hundred-year old curse, which goes even easier than rescuing her.
The plot has serious shortcomings: there is a mystery that isn’t solved; Magian history interwoven with the story of Salem witches, but not fully elaborated, and no explanation of what Sarah’s part was in that. No real action, no real suspense.
Many aspects of the characters� personalities, motivation, and actions remain in shadow.
The plot is only a frame for erotica, with no real drama and tension. And sadly, even the erotica isn’t as steamy as I expected.

I have been waiting (not very patiently ) for the next book in the Wicked series and I was not disappointed! I have to admit, I was intrigued by the character of Lorie in the first two books so I jumped right into this book. A sexy bookworm is right up my alley. The story was a sexy read that went too fast for me. Yes, I say too fast because we all know I am a greedy bitch who wishes stories would last forever. Moving on.
I started reading it and couldn’t put it down until I was done. I just love reading about the Magians. This book had the same basic principal: finding the perfect mate to form a triad. However, there is still some unknown entity out there, trying to bring down the Magians. We all know I love a little intrigue and suspense in my stories. Ms. Alexander managed to further the storyline and muddle it up even more at the same time. I. Love. That. Even while I loved it I was cursing Rachel for creating more questions while not giving us answers. Ms. Alexander is extremely clever that way. I will be impatiently waiting for the next book in the series because I am dying to know what is going on! Do you hear that Ms. Alexander? DYING!
Ok, enough of the melodramatics. This book is super. If you haven’t read any of the Wicked series yet, I suggest you run out and get all three of them. Wicked Release has it all. Bad guys, curses, colorful magic (literally colorful) hot sex, and a love that transcends centuries. As usual, Ms. Alexander has knocked it out of the park.

I sorta, kinda, maybe skipped book 2 in this series. I *thought* it wouldn't matter because... umm, yay, threesome! But... it sorta, kinda, maybe did. Well, it did in the sense that some events from book 2 carry over to book 3 and there were some established characters that I hadn't met yet. So, that's your warning. Read them all.
Anyway. Because of the book skipping, I got thrown into the middle of Lorie being missing and... well, maybe that's all. I do have to say that it wasn't *difficult* to figure out what was going on, but I think I would have derived more pleasure out of it if I had followed the prescribed path. Right. So. Sarah and Lorie.
No, wait. Sarah and Lorie and Con. Man, literary menages are THE BEST, aren't they? Although, in this case, it kinda blows that Lorie and Con knew they were missing their third and there was nothing they could do about it until she fell into their laps. I have a sad face right now. Can you see it?
There's a lot that happens. A LOT. And this clearly isn't the end of this arc because while the triad has reached a happily ever after, there's still something dark on the horizon. Or someone. IT'S ALL VERY MYSTERIOUS!
Enjoyable, but whether it was because I skipped book 2 or the arc is ongoing, I didn't like this one quite as much as book 1. STILL... I had fun watching Sarah and her men get her naughty on.

Wicked Release by R.G. Alexander is part of her `Wicked' series and continues telling the tale of Magians Sarah Blackwood and Lawrence (Lorie) Abbot which was alluded to in the second novella of this series, Wicked Bad. The two of them and Lorie's cousin Conway are destined to form their own Triad An ancient curse from Aaron Winston has had Sarah trapped in a horrific curse until Lorie became obsessed with solving the puzzle to free her. The more Lorie and his family learn about the curse, the more of a puzzle it becomes and it will take considerable resources to solve the mystery and rescue Sarah from her fate. Fortunately, there is plenty of assistance to go around and Lorie and Con are more than willing to see that Sarah is distracted in their arms.
A sensual and creative tale that effortlessly evokes the ambience of the sexy Magian society that is the basis for this series. The author has included plenty of her spicy love scenes as yet another threesome finds one another to create the bond of a triad. The story ends a bit abruptly for my tastes and is a bit erratic in places but is definitely filled with intriguing elements that give more history of the Magians and how they interacted with humans. An entertaining light read that continues the saga of the mysterious Magian society.

Another magical book by author RG Alexander! After I read book one in the Wicked Series I knew I was a goner. Somehow, and I'm not quite sure how, Ms. RG Alexander packs her books full of arousing characters, affecting story lines, and leaves us with a constant yearning for more.
This is the third installment of the Wicked Series and once again I was sucked in by these characters and story line. In Wicked Release we are given Con, Lorie, and Sarah's story, this is not a sweet lovey- dovey one. Sarah has been trapped in a "hell" of sorts and Con has finally found a way to "free" her and bring her to where she belongs... to him and Lorie.
Once Sarah has been freed, she is assaulted with feelings she doesn't know what to do with, and the knowledge that she must find a way to break her curse. Con and Lorie work with their family to help Sarah break her curse and aid her in finding her rightful place in today's world with her triad.
The sexy is smoking hot, story is complex and well thought out, fast paced, and once again leaves me wanting more from this crazy, magical world.

This one is about Sarah Blackwood, a witch who has been bound by a curse for years. When she finds a brightness that seems strangely welcome and familiar, she reaches out for it, not knowing that will be her salvation. She finds release, in so many different ways, when she finds her mates, who complete her triad.
Like Ms. Alexander's other stories, Wicked Release is fascinating, complete with strong characters, and wickedly hot! This is definitely part of a series though, and while I read it without having yet read the other installments, I do think readers will enjoy this series more fully by starting with the earlier titles.
Ms. Alexander does include excerpts from the prior stories in the series, and we can look forward to the next installment soon!

Wicked Release is book three in R.G. Alexander’s Wicked 3 series. WOW this menage hit the spot! This book has the same basic principal: finding the perfect triad. R.G. Alexander added some suspense with an unknown entity out there trying to bring down the Magians. Con and Lorie have always know they would form a triad it was a matter of finding the third to their two. I liked how this story and relationship progressed. We get suspense, intrigue and HOT steamy menage. Along with bad guys, curses, colorful magic and love that transcends centuries.

Finally another book in the Wicked Series!!!!! I have been waiting for this book for a long time, but it was worth the wait. I've read it twice so far and keep finding new things to like and can't decide if I'm more in lust with Conway or Lorie:) Great continuation of the world from Wicked Sexy and Wicked Bad...but there is obviously something big on the horizon. This book finished on a hinted at bigger story arc that I am REALLY curious about. Really loved the Triad relationship between Sarah, Conway and Lorie. They each have very distinct roles to play and clicked together. And just in case you're wondering RG delivers on the super hot love scenes:))) I'm going to re-read the whole series again!

So far I have loved this series, but this one just didn't do it as much for me. It had its moments, but it just seemed very anti-climatic after the build up from the previous book about Lorie being trapped in a different time. I liked Con being a bit bossy, but even the love scenes just didn't seem to be as good as I was expecting. I hope the next one will live up to the first two books and finish off the lingering story line with Sarah's villain.

I didn't read book two. So it was a little confusing at first. But I fell into the story pretty fast. This was entertaining but I didn't enjoy it as much as book one.

Lorie and Con are cousins. And magians (aka witches). And part of a triad. Each magian is part of a triad-two men and a woman who are a perfect match sexually and magically. Lorie and Con have been waiting for the third in their Triad, and now Lorie has found her. The problem is that she is trapped in a magical "loop" and has been for over 300 years. Sarah is killed everyday by an angry mob and wakes up the next day for it to happen all again. For the last couple of weeks a new man has appeared in her reality and tried to help her. Her angel. Then all of a sudden she is pulled from that torturous existence into a room full of strangers. Except her angel is there. Lorie, Con, and Sarah set out to discover who is responsible for putting her in that "loop" and how to prevent her from ever going back to that existence. They are also building on their instant attraction to each other and falling in love.
I'm a huge R.G. Alexander fan and I love this series. I have read it multiple times. It is a MFM with absolutely no interactions between the males, though they do have sex with the woman at the same time. We get some quick peaks at characters from the previous books. Lorie already has a relationship with Sarah so Con feels like he is at a disadvantage, but he quickly establishes his own connection with Sarah. And together the chemistry between these three just leaps off the pages. This is a quick and easy read. Though it can be read as a stand alone it is much more enjoyable if you read the other books in the series first. Plus, they are just as good (maybe even better) so why wouldn't you?

It took me a while to decide to read this. I loved book 1, but book 2 was somewhat lacking for me. With that in mind I hesitated to begin this one. While it was entertaining I feel like a lot was introduced that I would like to know about, specifically the Salem witch trials. At the end of the book a 4th book revisiting the triad from book 1 is mentioned. I hope there's some of the magian history developed there because otherwise this series is creating a lot without the follow through I like. I feel like this book went no where other than the curse was broken.

We can help but loves some magic... paired with two hot sexy guys which are totally different and a hottie human, we have a good mix of story characters and fantasy.
All of Callie's life she has wished she was different, always wanted to be like her bestie Harrison, and have a fam like she did. Callie was a foster child but has been practically raised with Harrison and her brothers. She's had a crush on one of them now forever....the only problem is his Magian.
In a ruse to help catch a criminal that is magic, Callie agrees to act as "bait"... she's had training .... almost a cop everything will be just fine... In comes the arrogant brother Tyghe that most of the time just picked on Callie, he is part of the potential match ritual being held. Of course its all pretend... even the magic spell that Harrison casts on Callie, so she isn't suspected of being human.
When things get all hot and heavy, magic arc'ing in the air after she kisses the "wrong" brother.. it just gets more interesting....

This is the third book in the series. I give it 3 1/2 stars I have to admit, I was intrigued by the character of Lorie in the first two books so I jumped right into this book.
This book had the same basic principal as the other two books: finding the perfect mate to form a triad. However, there is still some unknown entity out there, trying to bring down the Magians. Even while I liked the book I am cursing Rachel for creating more questions while not giving us answers. Ms. Alexander is extremely clever that way. I will be impatiently waiting for the next book in the series because I am dying to know what is going on! Hopefully there is more to come.
If you haven't read any of the Wicked series yet, I suggest you one click them and read all of them. Wicked Release has it all. Bad guys, curses, colorful magic (literally colorful) hot sex, and a love that transcends centuries.

This book started out great, just like the previous 2 in the series. Just when it was getting somewhere --BLAM-- it was over! At only 53% on my Kindle no less! The rest of what I paid for was a bunch of excerpts from other books. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed!
The characters & story line were so short and underdeveloped. It had a lot of potential, but seemed thrown together and rushed.
Hoping the next book in the series is actually a full length book where the entire 100% I buy is the book I want to read, not a bunch of excerpts again!

I was so disappointed with this book. I've been following the story and this one fell flat with very little plot detail. Lots of telling and no showing. I felt like whole scenes were cut from the book. How did they get her out of the book she was in? Suddenly she was there...this felt like a "I contracted for a series and now I just have to get it done because I'm ready to do something else. Sigh.

Excellent Series. Loved the fact it was part of their tradition for the female to have her two men. It's a shame humans don't have that openness, because I would be the first in line asking to join the community.

So I am a fan of this series but I had to re-read the 2nd book to find out what was going on. The space between book 2 and 3 was too long. Otherwise the book was good. The sex scenes were steamy and passionate.
