This is a really great book for all parents and people who work with kids. it teaches you how to connect with your childeren and how to be a good guide for them in this life. it focues on how to help your childeren create frindship and socilaize with other kids and how to correct bad bahaviours by using some well researched and pratical techniques.
This is a great book. It gives very specific and easy to do advice on how to help your child develop good friendships. He says the best way your child can make friends is one on one playtime. He gives hints on how to help a playdate go smoothly, and recommendations to help all sorts of friendship problems.
This book has some great tips for parents to help children improve their social skills. I would recommend if for anyone who has children that have difficulties with friendships. The author has ideas for the shy, sensitive kids as well as for the impulsive kids. There is a section for children with ADHD as well. I use this book as a reference and refer to it a lot in dealing with my children.
If you want to join a game of boys, play detective first. What are the rules, and which team could best use your help. Then dive in and ask someone on the losing team if you can jump in. If it's a game of girls, you'd better ask the kid who owns the toy/ball they're playing with.
