Deadpool has already killed every hero in the Marvel Universe. He isn't through. This time... Deadpool's gonna take down the most famous characters in classic literature!
Cullen grew up in rural North Carolina, but now lives in the St. Louis area with his wife Cindy and his son Jackson. His noir/horror comic (and first collaboration with Brian Hurtt), The Damned, was published in 2007 by Oni Press. The follow-up, The Damned: Prodigal Sons, was released in 2008. In addition to The Sixth Gun, his current projects include Crooked Hills, a middle reader horror prose series from Evileye Books; The Tooth, an original graphic novel from Oni Press; and various work for Marvel and DC. Somewhere along the way, Cullen founded Undaunted Press and edited the critically acclaimed small press horror magazine, Whispers from the Shattered Forum.
All writers must pay their dues, and Cullen has worked various odd jobs, including Alien Autopsy Specialist, Rodeo Clown, Professional Wrestler Manager, and Sasquatch Wrangler.
And, yes, he has fought for his life against mountain lions and he did perform on stage as the World's Youngest Hypnotist. Buy him a drink sometime, and he'll tell you all about it.
Not even going to try to explain this...all you need to do is go with it... Deadpool (DP) is killing all the characters of classic literature! Don Quixote and Moby Dick are the first two to fall to DP 'metacide' - but they will not be the last! Extremely violent - but that kind of goes without saying when you have DP involved!
It's deadpool. Killing literary characters because...[spoilers]. What's not to like. Especially seeing Don Quixote's eyeballs getting ripped from their sockets courtesy of our Merc with a mouth.
Hey, it may be a comic book, may have mostly pictures but reading is reading <3
Having never before read any Marvel or DC comics (or any comics in general other than manag's) I was very excited to read this. It was very entertaining and amusing, and I found it very captivating to read.
I was a little skeptical at first, but I am glad I took my boyfriends recommendation to this. I am definitely reading the other Deadpool comics when I get them!
