This is the 2nd book in The Four Families series. There will be stories related to 4 Italian Mafia families in this series. The 2nd book is on the Campano family. Zach (aka Twatknot) Campano meets Brett Candance when she comes to him for help finding her best friend (who is the surrogate carrying Zach’s half-brothers, thanks to Brett’s horrible mother). Because the soon-to-be-born twins are heir to 2/3’s of Zach’s empire he agrees to help as now Brett has also caught the eye of the Russian mafia. Brett is sarcastic and isn’t impressed by Zach’s looks or his money. Zach doesn’t know how to deal with her but finds her intriguing. Brett has a 4 yr old daughter who is her mini-me who wraps Zach around her little finger. So happy to see Zach’s mom and Aunt Frankie who will be familiar to those who’ve read the Tenillo Guardians-Time Served MC series. This series is a little edgier than her previous series and you might see some familiar faces from Cee’s Tenillo Guardians-Time Served MC occasionally. While it’s a Mafia book, I’d describe it as Mafia lite: Light on Mafia, heavy on the romance side because after-all Cee writes books based on love of family first and foremost.

*sigh* I know Cee warned us in the author’s note in the beginning, but damn do I hate it when there’s not a ‘years after� epilogue that shows us the HEA.
Instead, we get the ‘they’re happy now and they will be later too, but you’ll have to wait and see that second hand in the next books, while the next couple find theirs�.
Anyway. This was hilarious. I always love this author’s characters and the humor she infused almost all of her books with.
Chloe, absolutely adorable and annoying and mischievous in the best ways a 4 year old can be.
Zach is such a bachelor it’s honestly painful at times.
I freaking Loved when literally Everyone was laughing at his dumb shit.
His relationship with Brett is so funny and good.
I love that we got to see some past characters pop up in this.
I can’t wait to see these 3 pop up in the next books.

Brett Candace wanted nothing to do with her birth mother, she was a walking wrecking ball leaving a wake of problems anytime she was close. Her newest antic, talking her best friend into being a surrogate for her dead husband. Brett is furious when she finds out but with twin boys out there waiting to be born she knows she needs to step in. What she has no plans to do is deal with Mafia boss Zach Campana.
Zach wants nothing to do with the smart mouth Brett and her little hellion of a daughter. That is until he finds out about his soon to be step brothers. He talks Brett into joining forces but feels the safest way to protect the boys is to marry. Brett though isn't sure she sees a life with a mafia boss, he has six months to prove he is worth her time. Will he change her mind?
A wonderful addition to the series. Some really hilarious banter between Zach and Brett. Such an entertaining series. I look forward to the next book.

From no way to all in
Zach: The Four Families Book 2, The Campanas by Cee Bowerman is as riveting as it is entertaining! This book had me guessing from the first and hooked me to the last to see how the main characters come together. Between the main characters, Zach and Brett, there's an opposites attract thing on top of a forced proximity that comes into play. Zach never really thought about a family of his own, but the moment Brett enters his life, everything gets turned upside down.
I loved just about everything about this book. The plot has some mafia twists that kept me on my toes and wondering what was coming next. The characters themselves are highly entertaining. The banter between Zach and Brett swings from heated exchanges to flirty banter to smoldering come ons. Add in the Tiny Terrorist, Zach's mom (Paula) and Aunt (Frankie) and it's a laugh riot! All at Zach's expense of course.
Overall, this was an engaging, fun read that will leave you with a smile on your face and your heart warmed with Zach and Brett's promising HEA. The ending has some resolution, but there is a whole lot more to come with the imminent birth of mafia royalty twins!

5* isn't enough
Read in one day thats how good it is
Zack and Brett's story has us introduced to new characters and catching up with old ones it brings cees usual comedy with a love match and action.
Brett is a single Mum with a little girl who has a unique fashion sense and cuteness to suck you in to her antics. Brett is throw into a world 🌎 that she didn't want to be part of but thanks to her mum and friend is now being presured by people who will kill to get what they want and now has to depend on a man she can't stand or trust with not only her safety but her daughters and friends safety
Zack is a young man with the weight of a empire on his shoulders and runs successfully yet is a man child is more personal areas and needs help toget the women and family he never wanted yet now can't live without
Recommend you read this book and any other books by cee bowerman you won't be disappointed with this book I would recommend you read the time served mc books and book 1 of the 4 families just so you know the secondary characters in this book plus they are excellent reads

Fun times with banter for Zach and Brett
I am a fan of this author and like the way she writes in families. This is book one about the alpha leader Zach Campana. He is the head of a mafia type organization, but he and his friends are the good guys trying to fight a corrupt bunch. There is a will from Zach’s father that says that his assets go equally to his heirs. Zach is an only child. However, a non scrupulous person Rachel, who dated Zach’s father, has successfully impregnated a surrogate with twin boys. Now everyone is trying to get their hands on the unborn twins. The romantic interest for Zach is a down to earth single mother named Brett. She is quick and witty with the banter, jabs, and insults. Chapter after chapter with these was becoming too much for me. But finally Brett backed off the constant insults against Zach so that their romance could progress. Read On!

Zach, Brett and Chloe
Zack met his match for sure with Brett, and the sarcasm that she gave him, had me constantly grinning. And she certainly knows how to give a backwards headbutt to the face and can you say, ouch! 😁😆
Oh my goodness, Chloe is totally adorable and I loved the name that Zack gave her, and how she said his name, lol!! And when Brett or Zach corrected her words, too funny: "That's what I said!!"
You wouldn't think you could normally smile, grin or even laugh out loud with reading mafia stories, but trust me, you definitely can with whatever Cee writes.
I enjoyed the interaction with his mom, Paula and him via phone conversation, and of course some of the coven were close by.

Zach
I love this story as I love all Cee Bowerman books. Mafia books have never been my favorite, but I just feel so close to this story. I remember Zach when he came to visit Paula and meet Tonya. We've watched him become the adult he was always meant to be. Brett is perfect for him. She stands up to him and doesn't hesitate to bring him down a notch or two. Its great to see them get their happily ever after. When you read about these characters you want it to last, not only the relationship, but the story, too. Cee covers so many different genre now that no matter what kind of story you love, from MC to Paranormal, there is something for everyone. And, as always they center around family.

I don't know...there is something absurdly funny about the events that brought Brett and Zach together. Only a very devious person would do something like what happened and boy...that seemed to fit Brett's mom. I hated that Brett's friend was caught in the cross fire.
I loved how Brett really shook up Zach's life, she and Coco really made him change so much from his precious penthouse to his even more precious hair. The amount of crap that Zach got from his guys, from his mom and aunt was so great! I loved how Paula set him straight at one point and I knew she would love Brett and Coco.
It was interesting to see Brett and Zach negotiate/navigate a relationship one that started out fake and turned real. Both of them deserved happiness, glad that they found it together.

This was such an entertaining read, I am still thinking about it days later. Zack is a bit high maintenance, especially when it comes to his hair. Remember this as it will become very important later. Brett and her daughter, Chloe, have a loose connection to Zach and that is why she comes to him for help. They rub each other wrong from the start. Fortunately, they quickly realize they are better as a team. I laughed so hard in several places, chuckling in others. Zach comes a long way with Brett and Chloe's help and I enjoyed every minute of it. This series is shaping up to be another fantastic one by this fabulous author!

Zach begrudgingly grows up :)
I have read all of Cee's books and although the Mafia isn't my usual favourite genre, her writing is good enough that I will read anything she writes.
Brett (female, before you get confused) is a single mum to the precocious Chloe and finds herself searching for her bestie. 1st stop is Zach - who she then brutally dismissed as not worth the hassle to deal with.
Zach is aggravated and intrigued, used to women worshipping him, not walking away.
Add in a family drama and the OG's making an appearance - you have the perfect 2nd book in the 4 families series.
Can't wait to read Luca's next!

A definite must read book and series
One of the many things that I love about this author is that she has a wicked sense of humor, and her characters always benefit from it! While there was a lot going on in this story, one of my top favorites was Zach and his new little friend. I absolutely loved the adorable little girl, and his new nickname her was priceless. Lol! It took me a bit to get past the snarky, over the top attitude that Brett had, but in the end they all made a beautiful family together.
Can't wait for more of this series!

Zach & Brett
I still have a huge smile on my face. I can’t even say how many times I laughed out loud while reading this book - it was uproariously funny in parts! And yet so serious in others. The back and forth between Zach and Brett was awesome. And little Chloe - the Terrorist - TT - Tiny Terror - Coco! I just adore her! I am totally looking forward to seeing more from this family in future books. I am absolutely loving the Four Families and I am so excited for Luca’s story next.

I LOVE ZACH 😍😍😍
I never laughed so hard while reading a book before. Brett is perfect for him despite her preconceived notions about him and his lifestyle. Chloe made me laugh and smile each time especially when she was trying to comfort Zach. Cee made the for families human and relatable. I love the fact that his mom and other relatives still treat him like he's a little boy. This is a great read. Kudos to Cee Bowerman. Zach has moved to the to top of my book boyfriends. Sorry Clem.😉

Been waiting on this one
Ever since reading Hook and Paula's book I hoped we get the stories about the New York mafia family. Zach has been interesting just from Paula's tells so I was excited to read his story. I have to say that Chloe steals the show. She's so funny. Brett is determined not to fall for Zach but he tries everything to win her over. This series isn't what I'd consider typical mafia as its talked about and some scenes play out but it's more romance. Enjoyable series.

you have to read this, Cee does it again
This has been one of my all time favorite books. This is the 2nd book of this series and it did not disappoint. I have laughed so incredibly hard reading this book. I loved the strong female lead. She has enough sass and grit to make anyone love her. The characters were perfect for each other and we got to enjoy them together as they figured their dynamics out. I have read all of this authors books many, many times and I have several that I will read even more. But this is my new favorite.

Zach and Brett inherit 2 little boys, at first I wanted to slap Zach upside the head for his attitude but then his mama came along and had words with him and he shaped up,Brett and Zach have a love/hate relationship that eventually turns to love,we get to watch a man child become a man and a single mum find a family.And TT is so awesome, I hope we get that next gen story some day,it will be awesome 🖤❤️

Loved that they started out as oil and water as they didn't get along at all. Them I loved that you could tell that they slowly but surely started arguing just to get the rise out of each other. And it continued to get better and better. The story was fabulous and I loved it. I'm starting to love all of the secondary characters that will be main characters in future books. Can't wait for book 3..... It's just sad that it's several months away.

3.5⭐️ Ok read but I wished it didn’t just end. There was no real conclusion to the story except for the note at the end to say that Zach and Brett will be seen in future books about other family members. Ugh👿. But I did laugh�.a lot. Chloe is hilarious! Amazing what comes out of this little girl’s mouth. And the hair!!!! I was cringing at poor Zach’s head. She really did want to make Zach pretty with twirls(I mean curls). That’s what I said! 🤣

This book is so good, a must read.
Zach and Brett's story is so well told. I couldn't put the book down it's that good. A book is always funny with a little bit of The Crazy Coven mixed in. I was glad Paula and Frankie met Brett and Chloe. Zach and Brett couldn't be more opposite yet they are perfect for each other. I can't wait to read more about them in the next books in this series.

So good! Such an easy read. Made me so happy. I love Cee’s writing style and humor. I was very restless and unsettled when I finished my last book. It ended on a cliff-hanger now I have to wait months for the next installment. I wasn’t happy with any of the 5 books I started. Then I saw Zach� grabbed me from the beginning, so funny, so charming. I’m calm and relaxed and ready for more

Zach & Brett's story
Cee Bowerman is an amazingly gifted author who knows how to reel you into her stories. I have enjoyed book 2 of The Four Families series, it is full of action packed scenes, more revelations & family connections. And I love it when past characters from other MC series make an appearance in this book too.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series & see who finds their HEA next.

Just WOW!!
Brett and TT were so perfect for Zach they’re exactly what he needed. Watching Zach learn how to deal with small kids was absolutely hilarious!! TT will definitely keep them on their toes as she grows up. I don't know how Cee does it, but every book seems to be better than the last. I absolutely love how they all come together as one big family!

Zach
Zach is one of the four bosses. He's the youngest and still a bachelor in his penthouse apartment. Is Mom is with Hook from Texas. He meets his one and her TT daughter ❤️ and falls for them both. Sweet story not a lot of sex or mafia action. But nice too see the change in Zach.

Such a great series!
Zach thinks he has everything under control but he hasn't me his female counterpart Brett. Omg..she is hilarious and her daughter. Brett takes no scrap from the mafia Don and the tricks and things she says to him made me laugh out loud. I love you Cee Bowerman.. Keep up the great stories. I can't wait for more of these!!

Amazing!
I can't say enough how much I love this author. Every book is well written with great characters. I love the interactions between Zach and Candance, he really is a man child ready to grow up and she's so sassy its hilarious. I loved TT. Everything about this book is incredible.

Zach by Cee Bowerman
This is Zach and Brett’s story. I can’t say enough about this book. When a story captures you and you laugh out loud along with the characters it is one fantastic book. Zach and Brett start out as enemies but end up together as they each comprise their points of view. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
