Fun! Fast! Action! Like other Bronson books in the series, this is a mystery that doesn't let up until the very end. If you like warm believable characters with a commitment for justice to be served, this is the book for you. I loved this twisty mystery - antique treasures and missing people with surprises around every corner. What's more, the setting is Texas and you'll enjoy the slice of life and color and texture of the Lone Star State.
One of the elements that stood out to me, however, was Honey, Bronson's loyal and oh-so-clever dog. So, dog lovers, be warned: you're going to fall for her and her antics! Luckily, there are more books in the series with Honey.
So, in summary: This is a fun read - a perfect holiday gift for a book lover who wants some entertaining action. Sure, you suspect it's going to turn out all right, but what a wild ride of a journey! Have a good time!

Hey there, Friends and Book Lovers; here's the latest release in the Bronson books.
I just finished the whole series, and this one blew me away. Ms. Hayden really nailed it. Bronson gets a surprise visit from someone he despises for hurting his sister, but he's shocked by what he learns: his grandniece, Becky (whom he never even knew existed), who's only 14, has gone missing. She was working on a school project about a famous violin maker, Ceruti, whose rare 1870s violins are being smuggled in to be sold underground. As we know from this series, Harry always gets in trouble while trying to help. Harry and Mike, his old partner and best friend, must deal with gangs and ruthless criminals to find Becky.
This book blew me away. It kept me hooked from the first page to the last. It's the most fantastic book in the series, no doubt. The characters are so believable, the action is thrilling, and the storyline feels authentic. If you love thrillers, you don't want to miss this book. 'When Danger Follows' is available now!

L.C. Hayden has created a believable cast of imperfect characters and a protagonist you can’t help but root for as she takes readers on a wild rollercoaster ride at a breakneck pace. When Danger Follows is a complex story that has more twists and turns than a slinky and a suspect pool with plenty of motives to go around and enough red herrings and a backstory to keep readers turning the pages to see how it all turns out.
Part mystery, part redemption with a second chance at life and love, When Danger Follows will capture the imagination of readers who enjoy an on-the-edge-of-your-seat tale and believe that things are not always what they appear to be. This terrific book has more than earned the five-star rating this reader has given it.

This is my first Harry Bronson title, so I kind of parachuted into the middle of the series, but not knowing any history was no problem at all. The story kept me engaged, and the title character and his buddy, Mike, are a bit of a comedy routine when they're not busy fighting bad guys and rescuing people. Perfect for readers who like cop/detective protagonists who aren't afraid to show their soft sides. Highly recommend.

When Danger Follows is the latest release in the Bronson series. Bronson’s grandniece Becky goes missing, and Bronson sets out to unravel the motive behind it. He uncovers an underground sale of conveyed 1870s violins as he learns more about Becky’s life, Bronson enlists former partner Mike to help him. They both sink into a dangerous tangle of gangs, mobs, and life threatening situations. This book is not only about the mystery of the missing niece but also about developing family relationships. I highly recommend this book. Hayden as always, has created a great book with engaging characters.
