Can't Text This

Rate this book
"Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?"

That's how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.

Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.

I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.

Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was—unfinished business.

I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again...but I did.

Everything was going great—until we discovered I was his son's teacher.

Why isn't there a rating higher than 5 stars? I always freaking love a good Teagan Hunter original and this story is definitely no exception! Ever since I met Robbie back in Let's Get Textual I have wanted to get my hands on his story and let me just say that it was totally worth the wait. I seriously could not imagine anyone more perfect for him then the beautiful and quirky Monty Andrews. These two are a match made in text heaven.

Can't Text This is a sweet, lovable, fun, sexy and all around entertaining standalone romantic comedy from the extraordinarily talented Teagan Hunter. I absolutely loved that Robbie finally got his happily ever after, one of which I have been hoping for since I met his character in Zach and Delia's story. There was just so much to LOVE about this incredible storyline and I hardly wanted to put this book down. I found myself laughing even harder than I did with the last two standalone books in this same world. I even ended up laughing out loud when I was reading some of it in public.

Readers make sure to one-click this story today because you want to get to know Robbie and Monty right NOW!

4 stars!!!

I freaking love this series! All three books have been such a big hit for me! Teagan Hunter is a new to me author of 2018 and I’m so glad I found her. Can’t Text This is the story of Robbie and Monty.

Monty and Robbie meet in a bar. This is the last place you’d expect to find a girl like Monty, but her sister drug her out. They really hit it off and get into sort of a texting relationship, because honestly, that is all Monty’s ready for at first. She’s much more inexperienced and on the shy side compared to Robbie.

Robbie is sweet, sexy, playful, and so freaking charming. Monty was so different from him, and I loved that. She is more buttoned up and needed someone to bring out the fun and carefree side of herself. Robbie did just that. They had the best banter through their texting and when they’re together, sparks fly. Things are easy for them, but then things that are completely out of their control get a little complicated. Thankfully, it gets resolved quickly.

I love single parent books (especially when it’s a single dad *sigh*) so you know Robbie and his son were pretty much my favorite part of this book! This kid was hilarious and I loved all their interactions.
“Who you texting, Dad?
“BܲԱ.
“BܲԱ?
“Yeah, none of yours. He props his hands on his hips and scrunches his face up.
“That’s not nice.
“Fine. It’s Santa Claus. Homeboy just told me if you don’t go brush your teeth and get dressed, you’ll be missing a present under the Christmas tree.
He lifts a brow. “Santa’s old. He’ll forget by Christmas time. It’s July, Dad.

It was also great to see Zach and Delia (Zach is Robbie’s bestie)! I love all these characters.

I really wanted to wait to listen to this on audio format, as I enjoyed the first two on audio so much, but I couldn’t wait. This was just sitting on my kindle for weeks waiting to be devoured and I’m glad I read it! I may have to do a re-read when the audio is released because they’re so fun to listen to!

These texting books rock my world. They’re so laugh out loud funny, sweet, sexy, and such a good time! I have been loving rom-coms so hard this year, and this series is so fun! Highly recommended when you’re looking for something to keep a huge smile on your face!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I LOVE IT SO MUCH I HAVE TO YELL IT IN CAPS!

It had me grinning most of the time. Had my heart aching some of the time. Had my toes curled in the best way possible and I loved BOTH the H and h, which is not an easy thing for an author to do to me.

One nitpick - the cover is NOT representative of what I imagined Robbie to look like: here are some options, take your pick, but that guy on the cover is WHITE.

I could go on. Robbie is GORGEOUS!!!

This book hits all my favorite things in a romance:
* plenty of steam, much steamier than the other 2 books I read by this author
* A single dad! (everyone say it with me - aaaawwwwwwwww!)
* A single dad who's so GOOD at what he does, and who's responsible and funny and sexy and kind and HOTT as SIN!!!
* A nerdy, girl-next-door, good girl h, who is the complete opposite of this tattooed "bad boy."
* The opening lines from both of them: Him "Hey Monty, want to see my Python?" (and BTW, it's awesome that he also has a huge tattoo of a python) Her: "Please don't think I'm forward. It could be the alcohol talking. But you have the most kissable lips I've ever seen, and I want to kiss them."
I'm paraphrasing from memory, that's how much I liked those lines.
* The adorable kid and cute bunny (less certain about the crabs)
* The banter. It was less unique because of the other 2 books I've already read, but this one I liked best because the 2 characters are such opposites - him of the dirty mouth and she of the never-cussed a day in her life. I love her "holy cats" and other expressions.
* I loved that she was such a good girl, but a good girl with a backbone. She fought for him (and he fought for her). She fought for him despite what happened to her before, despite that he had a lapse in judgement and self confidence and tried to break it off. She knew what he meant to her and didn't give up. Now that's a h I can stand behind!

I could go on and on about this book. I hardly ever re-read contemporary romances - they're not as immersing as historical and paranormal/ fantasies. Just a quick escape and bit of fluff never to be thought of again. But I just might re-read this one when I'm in the right mood.

This is definitely Teagan Hunter's masterpiece to date.

I loved all of it!

4.5 Stars. It should be hard to translate good texting chemistry to a book but I found myself utterly charmed by Monty and Robbie’s playful banter. These two were scorching hot together and opposites in many ways. As individuals, I loved who they were but they also complimented one another well. Their development was handled expertly. The secondary characters were used to add a a humorous angle that felt natural.

The plot and execution in writing kept me interested and invested. The pacing was just right. I found myself laughing, fanning myself, and eagerly devouring line after line. Overall, a definite win. Teagan Hunter retains her crown for one of the best humorous romantic writers I’ve had the pleasure of reading.

Just like Let's Get Textual, and I Wanna Text You Up, Can't Text This immediately went on my list of favorite books for the year. It takes a lot to make me laugh, and when I find myself choking because I'm laughing so hard, I know I have a winner on my hands. Robbie and Monty are just amazing together. Hilarious, adorable, HOT, and sweet, Can't Text This is everything you want in a romantic comedy.

Can’t Text This is an awesome addition to the Text series. It was better than the previous one, but not as fantastic as the first one (Let’s Get Textual is still my favorite). There were many things I loved about this book! I mostly loved all the characters, how Robbie and Monty met, the humor and the texts. I’ll happily reread Can’t Text This one day.

Rom-com gold!! I adored this super cute and funny story!
It’s my first Teagan Hunter read, but definitely will not be my last. I’ve already grabbed the previous books in the series. Monty and her Python are a HIT!

This opposites attract/forbidden romance is fun and flirty romance that features a hot AF single father who actually succeeds in picking up a date using a one-liner. The story is witty, flirty, and laugh out loud funny!! The format is unlike anything I’ve ever read and I LOVED it! The texts are imaginative, we’re well thought out, and entertaining as all get out!

Very well done! I can’t wait to read the previous books!

This is the third installment in an absolutely hilarious series and just as my lovely sister J predicted, it was in fact my favourite one so far ;) even though the main characters in all of the books are connected to one another, being friends or roommates and such, each novel works perfectly well as a standalone ;) this one is all about Montana and Robbie ;) Monty grew up in a pretty religious and strict family, so she’s pretty innocent when she meets and hooks up with Robbie in a pub’s bathroom she doesn’t know what she’s gotten herself into because Robbie is a constantly cursing smoothtalking charmer who will melt your panties immediately ;) he’s also a single dad and his son is one of the most hilarious parts of this book ;) I think this one was my favourite because the interactions between Monty and Robbie were the best out of all three books I read so far ;) hilarious and entertaining they made me laugh out loud many, many times ;) as with the previous books, the drama at the end before we get to the happy ending was a bit over the top and not really necessary but since I sort of knew what to expect, it didn’t bother me ;) I highly recommend you guys this series, but this book in particular, if you need something to cheer you up ;) this contemporary romance is the perfect remedy for bad mood or stressful times it will definitely keep your mind off of everything and help you relax ;) go check it out if you haven’t read it yet ;)

#1 Let's Get Textual 3.5 stars
#2 2.5 stars
#3 Can't Text This 3 stars

This book had the single dad trope, the kid is sassy as hell and they have a baby bunny. What is there not to love about it?

It's also the first time that I've read a single parent book where the OW or OM does not create any drama between the main characters. Robbie and Xavier's mom get along great, dare I even say are friends and wish each other only the best and I loved that aspect. I wished that would be the case more often, even though in real life it may be unrealistic.

Even though, this book with Xavier's sass, Robbie & Zach cute as hell friendship and the adorable baby bunny was very cute. I can't overlook that these text messages get recycled in every book. Maybe because I'm reading all the books in this series back to back that it really stands out to me. The names of the characters during these texting conversations could be interchangeable and I wouldn't see a difference. Zach/Delia, Zoe/Caleb and Robbie/Monty text about the same thing over rand over again. I even think that the author uses the exact same phrases for these text. Therefore, I don't think Teagan Hunter is doing a good job on differentiating her characters cause they all sound the same.

P.S. a GIF of baby bunnies to brighten up your day

This one is my favorite!!

I loved Robbie from Zach's book! He is just that awesome and swoony!!
How they met was so fun too and totally not what Monty was known for! It was good to see how Robbie managed to get Monty out of her comfort zone! And the Python in her phone was fun too!

Their banter and chemistry is on point! I was a bit scared for the drama but this one has little drama as the others!
I truly enjoy this series a lot and am THANKING Hanne so so much for making the awesome review of the first one so I could find them!

What a superfun book! So much banter between Monty and Python... lol! (Python being Robbie.)

It's the ultimate opposites-attract. Monty is nerdy, square, a virgin... Robbie is muscled, experienced, tattooed bad-boy... with a heart of gold. The writing is fantastic, the sexytimes are scorching, and the single dad part was fun and sweetly handled.

If you're looking for a sizzling HOT, hilarious romance full of heart, you do NOT want to miss this one!

5 HOLY CROW! STARS!

Oh My Cats! First there were baby goats and now there's cute bunnies involved 🐇. I must say Robbie was definitely my favorite, especially his weiner 😏😂💁🏼.

What a wonderful book this was. I'm feeling so giddy right now. The perfect romcom with a bit of angst and animal lovin' overload. Seriously, Monty and Robbie were just so opposite, but it was too perfect! I couldn't get enough 😍.

Can't Text This was witty, and sassy, and too sexy for words. I want my own Robbie Cross. Thank you, Teagan!! 💜

I found this book just okay. I thought the story was good and it definitely intrigued me but the overabundance of text messages kind of lost me. I liked the interaction at first and thought it was a unique and more modern twist to a romance, let's be honest most relationships now a days start or involve messaging each other a lot, but as I read on I felt like the texts were taking over the story. I wanted to see more of the main characters actually together and not just read their messages to each other, which didn't tell me anything about them really.

Also this book hit on one of my pet peeves in the book world where the blurb either doesn't match the book or mentions things that aren't the main plot of the book. The fact that Monty was Robbie's son's teacher didn't even become known until late into the book yet the blurb had me thinking that was going to be a big deal in the story, like early on in the story.

But overall the characters were fun to read about and the book definitely has me wanting to read Zach's story so I can't wait to get that.

92% - I almost burst out laughing 😂 this was so funny! This girl is amazing!

Robbie didn’t seem to be a fit name for the main male character. He should have had a badass name (don’t ask me for a name, because I have no inspiration right now, but when I’ll think about one, I’ll come right back to this review and write it in).
However this story was one of the bests I’ve read this year! ❤️

Monty: “I’m going to say something very forward, and you’ll have to excuse me for this—it’s the alcohol talking. You have the most kissable lips I’ve ever seen in my entire life, and I want to kiss them.

Synopsis:
Thanks to a cheating ex fiancé, Monty is making a fresh start in a new town and on a night out she meets Robbie. Thanks to a little alcohol and some natural chemistry, when Monty says the quote above Robbie hauls her off to the bathroom and they have quite a hot make-out session in the bar bathroom. As Monty hustles out of the bathroom before she dies of embarrassment, she slips Robbie her number. And, of course texting ensues.

- “Oh god. What have I done? I’m in a public restroom with a stranger! I just let him…let him…do dirty things to me!

Overview:
- Trigger warning: None
- Do you need to read previous books in series?: No. A few of the characters make an appearance, but they’re not critical to the story.
- POV: Dual POV
- Tropes: innocent virgin, kid’s teacher, single dad

- Who is the Hero? Robbie (26)
- Has a 7 year old son.
- Is a software app developer and works for his best friend Zach (from book 1)
* The following words/phrases were used to describe Hero: forbidden, crass, sweet, charming, great dad, kind, dirty mind, sarcastic

- Who is the Heroine? Monty (23)
- Has somewhat hippie parents. Didn’t grow up with computers or cell phones and has been very sheltered.
- She has a twin
* The following words/phrases were used to describe Heroine: average, girl next door, innocent, buttoned up, reserved, nerd, sheltered, careful, untouched

- h virgin? Yes
- First time they kiss: Page 1
- First time they sleep together: 51%
- First time they say I Love You 95%
- steamy? Yes
- OW/OM drama? Not really. There’s another teacher interested in Monty but she never gives him the time of day.
- H/h cheat? No
- Time apart? No
- Did I skip pages? Yes. I got a little bored
- Big secrets? There wasn’t an intentional secret, but because they didn’t talk about it something took them by surprise around 75%.
- Did I cry? No
- Did I laugh? Xavier had some cute kid moments
- Did I swoon? Not really. Which is actually surprising because a single dad trope is my kryptonite.
- Cliffhanger? No
- HEA? HFN
- Epilogue? one year later
- Recommend? I thought the characters were a little immature. It was just ok

The following are my thoughts about this book:
- Monty’s character annoyed me a bit. She was just too naive, too innocent, too sheltered, etc. Saving herself for marriage, doesn’t swear, grew up without modern technology, etc. She was too squeaky clean and got embarrassed or blushed too much for me.

- If Robbie told Monty his real name was Robbie not Robert, then why did she call him Robert every single time she was using “shouty capitals? Hello....he said his name was NOT Robert. Geez. 🤦‍♀

- I liked that Xavier’s mom was not painted as some raging bitch. It was nice not to have the ex be a horrible character.

- the story lacked substance. All of their texts somehow came back to the same subject..... “banging each other. And all the serious conversations somehow evolved into some type of a sexual reference. At some point it began to feel forced, redundant and immature.

- The fact that Monty was Robbie’s son’s teacher (which the blurb mentioned) didn’t even come up until 74%. School wasn’t even in session so I forgot that was supposed to be an issue. So by the time it showed up it felt like an afterthought.

- Low on drama and angst for most of the book. Therefore, there was a zing missing. It got a bit boring.

- Single dad stories are a trope that I love, but I just didn’t fall in love with Robbie. If you can’t have a mature conversation without constantly bringing up some type of sexual reference, then it just shows your level of immaturity and I don’t find that sexy. Dirty talk in the bedroom??? Yes! Bring it on! But Robbie constantly brought up when they were going to bang or talked about his python or other sexual references and that led to a character who came off as childish with annoying and repetitive behavior. 😕

Quotes
“He’s my everything and I’m thankful he came into my life, no matter how unplanned he was.

“One day I woke up and realized I wasn’t living my life. I was living for everyone else and I couldn’t keep doing it. It was wearing me ragged, something a twenty-three-year-old shouldn’t be feeling.

Good things can come from random encounters.

“Python: Did we just get divorced before we even got married?
“Me: Did you just propose before we’ve even dated?

OMG!! Robby's son Xavier was so damn adorable 😘😘 that child was so darn funny! Hell this whole damn book and the whole series is freaking hilarious

“O!
“Shit. You okay?
“I’m good, just hit my head on the soap dispenser. Don’t stop.
The stranger chuckles. “Didn’t plan on it, Monty.
I giggle when he says my name, partially because I’m a little tipsy, and partially because it reminds me of when he first said it.
“Hey, I’m Monty.
“Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?
He uttered the words with a cocky grin, and I was a goner.

“I’m going to say something very forward, and you’ll have to excuse me for this—it’s the alcohol talking.
She sipped from the straw sticking out of the bright blue concoction she was drinking and didn’t wait for me to respond.
“You have the most kissable lips I’ve ever seen in my entire life, and I want to kiss them.
I grabbed her hand and led her back to the women’s bathroom, knowing the men’s was a disaster, and lifted her onto the countertop.
“You wanna kiss me? She nodded. “Then kiss me, Monty.
Holy fuck did she kiss me.

My seven-year-old son bursts through my door and I quickly throw a pillow over my junk.
“Dude, what’d I tell you about knocking?
His shoulders slump. “Oh crudders. I forgot.
He backs out of the room and shuts the door. It’s not even three seconds later when I hear his knuckles rapping against the door.
“Who is it? I say, playing his smartass game right back.
“Xavie. Your son. I’m hungry.
“Come in.

“Oh, you want to eat? He nods. “No one ever said I had to feed you..
He furrows his brows. “Toys, love, and food—those are things dads give their kids.
I chuckle. “Is that so?
“Yep. Momma said so.
“Did she throw the toys in there or did you?
He grins and shrugs before scurrying off my bed. “She did. Now come on—I’m not getting any younger.
Xavie runs out of the room, his curly hair bouncing the entire way.
I pull myself up and hit the bathroom. I kick away the toys lining the tile, reminding myself to have Xavie clean his mess before he has to go to his mom’s later tonight.
“Are you coming?
I give my dick a good shake and wash my hands while trying not to let out a weary sigh.
If anyone in the history of ever said kids aren’t exhausting, they’re a damn liar.
Xavie is the most exhausting thing to ever happen to me. He’s needy, he’s pushy, and he can be so annoying.
But he’s mine, and I’d die for the kid.
“Hold your horses, I tell him as I dry my hands.
“I can’t. They’re out of control!

He takes a bite of his waffles and chews before saying, “This girl then—what about her?
“We sort of…hooked up.
He mumbles something, but I can’t make it out through the food jammed in his mouth.
“In the bathroom at Lola’s.
He sputters, choking on his breakfast. Loud coughs fill the room and I grab a bottle of water from the fridge, sliding it his way.
He nods and cracks it open, taking a drink.
“Is Uncle Zach dying? Xavie calls out from the living room.
“We hope so! I think I’m in his will.
“Yay, money!
Laughter bursts out of Zach and water covers the counter.
“What in the hell are you teaching your child?

Zach squints. “What does ‘shit happened mean exactly?
“It means… I can still remember the way her legs quivered around my waist as she came, the way she squeezed her eyes shut—all of it. Can’t get it out of my head. “It means we, you know, fooled around.
He peers over his shoulder, eyes darting to the living room to make sure Xavie isn’t within earshot. When he turns back to me, he mimics a blow job.
I crack up laughing and shake my head no.
Then he sticks his tongue out, moving it around in a chaotic fashion. It’s disgusting and hilarious all at once.
“If that’s your version of what I think it is, I feel bad for Delia.

“Pardon me.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, I apologize quickly.
It’s official—I’ve lost it. Robbie is so stuck in my mind that I was just seconds away from running over an elderly woman.
“It’s no problem, sweets. You look like you’ve got your head in the clouds. Thinking about a man?
My face heats up and she chuckles when she sees the blush.
She’s a little old lady, no more than five foot two, decked out in a bright pink suit and no shoes.ummer.
“Aha! She snaps her fingers together. “I caught ya!
“How’d you know?
“You had that whimsical look about you and almost plowed over an eighty-three-year-old woman. A man has to be on your mind for that to happen. She waves her hand. “When you’re my age, you can spot young love from across the room.
“Love? I balk. “No, it’s definitely not love. I hardly know the guy.
“Oh. Her eyes light up. “You’re thinking about having sex with him then. She nods like she understands completely. “I see. Well, that makes even more sense.
I choke on air and she’s beating on my back with all her might within seconds. She sure does pack a punch for an octogenarian.
“I was not expecting that.
“Come on, now. What’s a little sex talk between gals, huh? No harm in wanting some lovin.
I blink twice. I cannot believe this is happening.
“I suppose that’s true.
“So, what’s this hunk look like?
“He’s, uh, he’s tall and tan. She nods, hanging on to my every word. “Very muscled. Another nod. “Tattoos.
She fans herself. “Oh, my. I do love tattoos. It’s not something us old folks grew up with, but it’s one new trend this lady can appreciate.
“It was never something I was much into either until…
“I hear you, sweetie. She grabs my hand in hers. “Well, he sounds like a catch, and if he has you all wrapped inside your head like that, you hold on to him.
“There’s nothing to hold on to. We’re just friends.
She winks. “With benefits, though.
when I round the corner to go to the next aisle.
“You said tall, tan, muscled, and full of tattoos, right? Didn’t even bother mentioning my sexy grin and charm? He tsks. “I’m disappointed, Monty.
I’m struck silent.
There’s no way he’s standing in front of me right now. It’s impossible. I have to be hallucinating.
“Cat got your tongue?

“God, Monty, I wanna touch you again, so bad.
I want you to touch me too.
“I haven’t been able to get you out of my head since we met. You don’t know how many times I’ve stopped myself from asking for your address, from calling you just so I could hear that rasp of yours again.
“My voice isn’t raspy.
His lips collide with my ear as he whispers, “It is when I’m making you come.
I nearly drop to my knees, not expecting those words.
His grip tightens around me, and the hard length of him presses into me from behind

“Call her Monty, dude. How many times have we told you?
Xavier smiles sheepishly from his perch at the counter. “Sorry. Monty, can I have another donut?
“May you, I correct him.
“Yes, I may. He grabs the last donut sitting inside the box and takes a huge bite of it. He pats his stomach. “Hits the spot. Once you’re done with your donut, can you go grab Thumbelina?
Xavier sits up, mouth twisted in confusion. “What for? It’s not time for her to be out yet.
Robbie lifts a brow at his kid. “First, because I said so. Second, because I said so. And third, in case you were wondering if there was one, be—

I really liked the chemistry between Monty and Robbie.
It was better than the previous one, but not as fantastic as the first one. Let’s Get Textual is still my favorite!!!!!
It's light and fluffy!!!!
And the photo booth scene was the BEST!!! kkkkkk

I really loved the main characters, Monty and Robbie. Monty was the girl-next-door, kind, loving, quiet, someone I definitely would want to be friends with.
Robbie was the complete opposite of Monty: he was a muscled single-dad with a dirty mouth and mind, lots of tattoos, and a big heart full of love. But somehow they both fit perfectly together and made the cutest couple.

Given the two previous texting books, I think we already established that the texting idea was not new. The story about Robbie and Monty and her being his son's teacher is actually not new either but I was really excited to find out how that all goes down, how the characters handle the situation. The big revelation, however, came too late in the book in my opinion. I was hoping for the big plot twist to happen close to the halfway point of the book, maybe even a little bit earlier. Unfortunately, it came too close to the end and the issue was solved in a few couple chapters. I had wished for a little more drama an excitment, especially excitement. Since the reader was already told the plot twist of the book in the blurb, I had hoped for even more than only the teacher-parent-hook-up.

The book was also missing depths and I think the many texting chapters took away from getting to know the characters properly.
I wanted to know more about Robbie and the fact that he became a dad at only nineteen years old; I also wanted to know more about Xavie.
Monty is a real interesting character but I think there is more to her than what we were giving as a reader, more to the safe and quiet teacher we were presented with.
As fun as the texting banter between Monty and Robbie was, I would have like way more actual paraghraphs of thoughts and action. With that being said I think that Can't Text This would have been a better story without the texting.

I'm quite disappointed with this book and its outcome. I had hoped for so much more. Don't get me wrong, this novel is not bad. If you look for something fun for a rainy weekend or for something to cheer you up when you're down, then this book will definitely be your best bet. But when you look for something meaningful with lots of depths, you have the wrong book.
Maybe my expectations for Can't Text This were a little too high but I still can't rate it higher than 3 stars.

4 Monty Python CROWNS

CANT TEXT THIS is just pure unadulterated fun. With outlandish humor and quirky characters, Teagan Hunter delivers a romance that is laugh out loud charming.

I love these characters. Monty and Robbie are just great. I love that they are unique and embrace who they are, which is a bit eccentric, but it works for them. The chemistry between the two is fun and light, and the conversation through text, which makes up a good portion of the book is entertaining.

The story itself is a bit slow and not what I was expecting. Based on the the synopsis, I expected the teacher / parent of student forbidden romance aspect to take on a bigger role in the story. Now, here is where I’m conflicted because the conflict is resolved very quickly but in a mature and rational way. So while I would have liked, in terms of pacing to see the conflict a bit earlier in the story and have the road to resolution be a bit more challenging, I did love the maturity of the characters.

Can’t Text This is just a light and fun comedy. It will make you laugh and has its sexy moments. It is really just pure fun!

5+ Stars ** Top 2018 Read **

I'll start by saying I freaking LOVED this book and it is by far, my favorite in this series. I found myself smiling throughout the book and several time laughing out loud. The two main characters, Monty and Robbie aka Python were just great, likeable characters. As with the other two books in the series, these two spend time getting to know each through texts....which were hilarious. When Robbie and his best friend, Zach (he is from book 1) were together....it was crazy. All of the characters were the type of people you would just want to hang out with.

I really can't say anything bad about this book....except I spent my entire day off locked on this book and couldn't put it down....but that's not really a bad thing.

Teagan Hunter is fast becoming a one-click author for me. I hope we see more books in this series!

Can’t Text This
By Teagan Hunter

5/5
2/3 🔥

Y’all.. I think I say this every time I start a new texting series book.. IDK WHY I WAITED SO LONG to pick up the next book. These books are so funny and sexy. I absolutely love them!

Robbie and Monty had me cracking up from the first couple pages. Their banter was hilarious.
I am so glad I finally picked up Robbies book.. I loved him so much.😍

If you’re looking for a fun, quick, steamy & hilarious read.. this is the book for you.
Just maybe don’t read in public.. unless you don’t mind looking like a crazy person from laughing so much.😂

Highly highly recommend!

So, let's talk about the high point of this book: Xavier!
He was the cutest and funniest little thing! Every time he appeared, he stole everyone's thunder. He was such a cutie with that smart mouth and sarcasm! Hahaha, so cute! I loved it!

I've been wanting to read Robbie's book since meeting him in Zach and Delia's book. He was great! Funny and loyal to his best friend and in this book we understand how much he cares for Zach and how much Zach did to help him when he had a kid at nineteen. It was really sweet.
The relationship between Robbie and his son was absolutely beautiful, he was real and did not treat him like a baby and spoiled him, no, he made him clean after himself and help his father. It was beautiful.
“Be good. Be smart. Be kind.
“Be good. Be smart. Be kind, he repeats. We bump fists twice.
“Love you. See you at three.
“Love you too!

Monty was the new girl in town. She just escaped her past and decided to try everything new in a new town while living with her twin sister. She spent her whole life adjusting to what other people wanted and never what she wanted. Until it was enough. She was about to make the biggest mistake of her life for the sake of other people, so she decides is time to change that.
"I want to be that girl who has fun at the bar, who meets a new guy, who isn’t afraid to take a leap and do something daring.
I want to be free."

I loved the parts where Zach and Delia were in it. I have to say, even though I didn't read the last book in this series yet, the first one is forever my favorite. I love Zach and Delia's relationship. I laugh so much with them.
Anyway... this book about Robbie was really enlightening, in it, we get to see a whole side of him we didn't know, the single dad side, the sweet and loving side, the one where he showed how big of a heart he has. It's beautiful.
Monty was scared, and piece by piece she was starting to trust Robbie with her heart again.
They were absolutely cute together. I loved every scene.

“You’re a horrible influence on me, Robbie. I would have never done this before you.
“Is that a bad thing?
“Yes, but it’s also the best thing. You’re… I blow out a shaky breath. “You’re that thing I never knew I wanted until I had it. You’re fun and adventure and temptation all wrapped into one, and I want to give in to you so badly.
