Let's start off with a quick recap of the story. Remy Adara former liutenant of the Starfleet is on her way to meet Jett Vega former lover and the man she holds repsonsible for her dismissal from the military. She wants answers, he has them. While on the ship Remy runs into Captain Bric Rayder former teacher at the academy and stared in may fantasys of her.

So guess what...of course they have sex. It was okay except for one part that threw me for a loop. So he bends her over spanks her then starts thrusting. So I'm assuming doggy style right? Well then it says his balls are hitting her "butt"...hmmm??? Usually in that position it hits the clit right? Or am I wrong or does he have his balls above his member?...hell idk but I found that kinda wierd.

Anyhoo, okay so they have sex, she wakes up alone and soon gets a surprise. Jett is on the spaceship and over breakfast we get her answers plus a little extra surprise. Hints at a threesome if that wasn't clear.

Jett tells Remy that Kurt Wynton is reponsible for the stolen ships. Wynton is a pirate that pirates ships and then sells the crew as slave labor. Wynton also happens to be a former friend of Jetts so a little revenge going on and also the reason Wynton is hunting for Jett so bad. Jett wants to take him down and clear his name. So thats the main jist; hunting for Wynton while navigating a possible relationship between Remy, Jett, and Bric.

Two hott guys flirting with her, breakfast, and knowlege that Wynton not Jett is to blame. So should she do what she's had fantasy's about Jett and Bric and if she does what happens next? Yep, winds up handling both at the same time, with a little blindfold and bondage thrown in. Plus nipple clamps and flogger.

Oh and Jett and Bric happen to come from a shapeshifter planet where to men out number the women so group partners are like the norm. Quick battle scene with Wynton and his men. Remy gets attacks. So you got action, drama, and sex all in a rather quick story.

Overall I enjoyed it. For being only about 109 pages long I expected a quick story. It wasn't overly unique but had some good parts. The intimate scenes could have been better but was the best part of the story. You got quick backstories of Remy and Jett being orphaned but other than that everyting revolved around the here and now or 18 months ago. I find myself wanting more though. Its like a teaser to a series. What happened to Jetts brother? Is the question I find myself asking.

I was offered the opportunity to read and provide my honest unbiased review by the author.

Before I start I should mention that I don’t normally read space travel related tales, but for this author I decided to give it a shot & man am I ever glad that I did. Atwood had me hooked before the end of the first chapter. Even though Atwood works interplanetary travel & futuristic aspects into her story, it remains approachable and easy to relate to (or fantasize about).

Atwood employs explicitly visual descriptions that leave nothing to the imagination while at the same time sending your imagination running wild. She also mixes an intense plot with an extremely sensual and evocative relationship. The danger & Alpha-maleness brought on by this intricate plot added to the story for me. This novella is definitely hot, steamy, and racy but I really appreciate the backstory that brings the characters into their own.

The characters themselves are out of this world (no pun intended, they were brilliant). Each was so unique, and seeing the way that they all came together was truly inspiring. Also, the fact that the characters had histories, both alone and together, made the story all the more powerful.

This was definitely another brilliant novella by Atwood. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone (18+ of course). I also can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. Perhaps another adventure with Adara, Jett, & Brick? I can’t get enough of these three.

Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

Remy Adara hasn’t had much luck lately when it comes to work or guys for that matter. Jett Vega not only broke her heart but he was also the reason why she lost her dream job. Then out of the blue Vega contacts her asking her to meet him. Remy knows that she shouldn’t but she is intrigued to see what he could possibly want and decides to meet him. During her journey to meet up with Vega she runs into Bric Rayder. Bric was her instructor at the Starfleet whom she has lusted after from day one. Bric is handsome and Remy can’t forget how much she was drawn to him all those years ago. Will Remy be able to overcome her feelings for Vega when she finally confronts him? Will she have to choose between her feelings for either Bric or Vega?

Ali Atwood delivers another well written erotica. I have had the pleasure of being able to read three other works by Atwood and she hasn’t disappointed me on this one. I love the world she has created as well as the plot. She grabs your attention right from the first page. I look forward to see what is next from Ali Atwood.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

First of all, I absolutely love the plot. Soft science fiction with excellent world building that was easy to follow. I really liked the details the author gave. Each character had such beautiful flaws that I just wanted to read more and more about them.
