I've woken up in hell.

And in that hell I discover things about myself that should make me sick. We've been taken, held against our will, made to do despicable things...

Is it wrong that I like it?

Deep in the darkest parts of my brain, some of the things he makes us do make me feel good. And in this hell hole, claiming back any joy we can feels more important than what's morally right. As things push further and our boundaries are destroyed, what will kill me first?

Darkest Descent is a full length with novel pitch black themes and many, many triggers - you can find them listed in the front of the book.

EXTREMELY dark and DEPRAVED

This was one of the most trigger filled, dark, depraved, and absolutely messed up book I've ever read. Please, PLEASE, read the warnings and exit out if it's not something that catches your attention, because this book is FKED UP! I freaking loved it, so I'm not sure what that says about me but oh well 🤷‍♀️🤣 I would definitely recommend this to the girlie's, guys, and they's that love 🩸 relationships and dark ASF reads!

terrible day to be literate and have a curious mind when someone says this is the most bananas thing you’ll ever read (they were right, and i’ve read a lot of insane shit tbh)

however unfortunately for my eyes it hooked me good and quick with all the crazy so i did read this in one sitting 😂

Wow. I can’t believe this book hasn’t been banned on amazon 😅 This book is super dark, extremely taboo, and has some very rough scenes in it. Actually, I’d say 80% of the book is rough so if you find anything triggering you might not want to read it. Now I really don’t know how to review this book because well, it’s just a ball of darkness, so I’ll add some of the most triggering things and scenes in a spoiler tag below. Don’t worry though, I won’t spoil the twist even though I’m sure many readers will figure it out pretty fast!

 Proceed with caution

🔥🔥🔥🔥

Last book of the year and it was a banger!

I have questionable morals and even this had me scratching my morally gray brain a bit.

Good premise, the twist was twisted but not surprising. Perhaps, I daresay, a bit too smutty?

This is probably one of the most effed up books I’ve ever read. Did I devour it? Yes. Not sure what that says about me.

CHECK THE TRIGGERS BEFORE READING. This is extreme taboo and deals with blood relation.

Anyway, if you’re looking for something extremely dark, happy reading.

What does it say about me when a book this fucked up doesn't even faze me 😎
Twins kidnapped and tortured by a maniac; made to do some truly depraved things to each other and the kidnapper. Some things come to light and man, was it a doozy.
I honestly felt this would have had a bigger impact if there wasn't a happy ending. In some instances, a sad ending is chef's kiss to really hit you in the feels. I wish Yolanda Olson had written this instead, she would have knocked it out of the park with this subject matter.

3.5

Twins Alice and Asher Samuels find themselves held captive by a depraved man who seems to know so much about their lives and is intent on torturing them. Relying on each other to survive, Alice and Asher take an unexpected path.

“Something inside all of us was broken. But we were broken together. And that’s all that mattered.

Narrated in multiple POV, these characters have endured, but while doing so, they have also been fractured. Certainly, the subject matter and actions taken are in the extreme taboo horror category and some scenes were definitely pukeworthy. My issue was the extreme actions occur rather fast without delving into the character relationships, trauma or past; therefore, losing impact and steadying on being dark without substantive development.

This book made me really uncomfortable but I couldn't quit reading it. Don't know what that says about me lol. There are a lot of triggers in this book so please read them and know what you're getting into before you start this. This isn't a romantic love story, it's dark and gross and it's definitely not for everyone.

Genre: Erotic Horror
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person - Multiple
Rating:

As twins, Alice and Asher Samuels always had each other’s back. But when they were taken by an unhinged man, that bond would be severely tested and could permanently change how they saw the other.

Alice and Asher were opposites in both personality and coping mechanisms. One was a fighter, and the other resigned. There were times I wanted to shake them to think before acting, but I’m glad the direction they took in order to survive and move on.

A sense of danger rippled through me, a reminder that I was prey to this man, a thing to destroy, and every hair on my body stood up. Death was coming for us.

This book had all the dark and taboo elements that I love. However, I felt their struggles were too easily and quickly resolved which lessened the impact and believability. It would have added more depth if the psychological aspect had been capitalized on. I did like how the author didn’t hold back on the abuse with several gag-inducing scenes.

Darkest Descent is a story of retaliation and illicit urges. It would appeal to readers who enjoy dark stories with taboo dynamics.

This is one of the darkest books I’ve ever read but I could not put it down. Huge TWs and this book is not for the faint of heart.

MMF with twins (M/F)
No virgins
No OM/OW drama
H1 has never been with a guy consensually and I think the same goes for H2
FMC had one mention of texting a past hookup at beginning of book but nothing more

Yeah umm.. this was so messed up. So dark and depraved. I think it maybe one of the darkest books I’ve read. It’s so messed up. It’s one of those books that’s hard to rate because you don’t necessarily like it, but you can’t look away 😅 but anyways, please check your triggers because this is super dark and messed up!

I can say this in my top 5 darkest book I read, but my number 1 cringest book.

I found this on booktok from a small creater, stating that it is the darkest book she ever read. You know me, I can read disturbing books with romance(except emotional ones because I rather vomit than cry)

I went through so many emotions when reading this, but the main emotion I had was disgust. It was so nasty(not in a good way). Surprisingly, I figured out the plot twist early on because of how crazy the story was. The plot was kind of nonexistent, tho. The siblings stayed in the basement for 70% of the book while the most gut-wrenching abuse happened to them.

One of the reasons why it never felt too disturbing. it's caused this book focus on erotica first. Every time, the most weird disgusting sexual scenes occur, it doesn't even matter because the main characters are turned on almost all the time. Each POV was full of secret enjoyment.

And you won't believe this, but the book actually has a happy ending that I really enjoyed.

Asher, Alice, and Hunter.

📣Read the TWs. There's plenty in this book. It's definitely taboo and not for everyone📣

I absolutely loved it, and I'm questioning my sanity, lol

Hunter 🫠 I loved him. He was hurt and hurt people hurt people. So he does unspeakable things to Asher and Alice for revenge and ends up loving them and finding comfort with them.

I loved Asher too, the things he and Alice did to survive and then for pleasure!!!

This book is a whole red flag, and I loved it. Their chemistry was 🥵🥵🥵

Alice was one lucky girl....if you take away all the abuse and trauma she goes through at first....

5⭐️ 4🌶
