I refuse to be the gung-ho little superhero my sister wants me to be. I’m not dragging the people I love into her war. But the war-mongering witch supremacists and the power-hungry Supernatural Alliance need to be stopped. So, I agreed to help her steal a couple of magical artifacts.

The problem is, one of those artifacts is in the Angelic realm, guarded by a bunch of pompous, lying jerks who can definitely kick my ass. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be able to just talk them into letting me borrow their deadly magical artifact. Again.

But fighting angels and stealing relics is the least of my worries. I’ve got a found family of crazies to take care of and ill-advised dark magic to work. Plus, it turns out, it’s a lot harder than I expected to stay neutral while the world falls apart.
My stupid insistence on saving innocents might just bite me in the ass.

Author's Note

If you have been reading along as I write this series (on Patreon, Vella, or Ream) you know this was supposed to be the last book in the series, however, it turns out that “one last book was going to end up being much longer than I anticipated. So a fifth book will follow shortly after this one. And that will be the last main book in the series. If you’re interested in reading early, you can come check out the final installment as I write it on Patreon and Ream. Okay, note concluded, now please read the warnings

*poly romance, contains MF, MM, FF, NB/intersex romantic interactions, as well as multiples
*swearing and explicit sexual content
*some characters have suffered trauma in their past, most of which is off page/mentioned in passing, but they will continue to discuss and work through their issues throughout the series
*there is one scene in book 1 where a character with PTSD loses control during a BDSM session. The MC is not actually harmed, but this may be triggering to some readers
*stupid humor and a sarcastic main character who is just done with the world's bullshit, but also has a moral compass no matter how much she might wish otherwise
*no cliffhangers in this book, but it does end with a bit of an “oh, eff you mean, mean author moment. Sorry, not sorry.

Sometimes our greatest strengths come from our deepest challenges. I write magic and romance, starring a cast of creatures with feathers, fins, and teeth. My books include paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and fantasy romance--with the occasional steampunk or alien story thrown in just for kicks. My pan heart firmly believes love is love, so you'll see straight, LGBTQIA, monogamous, reverse harem, and poly relationships in my work. My favorite theme is overcoming our inner demons and the insecurities that hold us back.
I also advocate for self-development and mental health and dabble in non-fiction as time allows. I love the outdoors and still hope to be abducted by fae! (I may have more in common with my characters than I care to admit.)

I love to hear from readers!
