Original title "Infiltration". I just hate when the inexperienced heroine doubts the capabilities of the super stud, ex special forces hero. When a heroine has so little faith in her hero it really annoys me. Now that I've had my rant my review can continue. The book was good, likable undercover hero and clueless heroine get caught in a situation that could only be pure fiction. But, hey, that's why we read this stuff, right?

Sweet young thing, Sophia Reardon, was only doing her job, or in this case, the job of an FBI work associate, taking photos of warehouses similar to several that had been burned by an arsonist. Sophia is a graphic artist who happens to work for the FBI, not in any way to be confused with a field agent. She stumbles into a weapons buy and is attacked in the deserted warehouse by none other than her ex-boyfriend and his goon pals. He's working undercover and is just as surprised to see Sophia as she is to see him. This is bad, really bad.

Cameron Branson has been undercover way too long. Now Sophia, the woman he deserted five years ago, has blundered into the middle of his op. How is he supposed to keep her alive and complete his mission?

Cam is working undercover to infiltrate a shady organization to 1) get revenge for his partner’s death and 2) to gain access to a device that could cripple law enforcement. A deal he sets up to proves his value goes sideways when someone from his past show up-wrong time, wrong place.

Sophia agrees to do a favor for her coworker and ends up with more than she bargains for. She finds herself kidnapped by the man who ghosted her and isn’t thrilled with her current circumstances. She and Cam need to work together to find a way to escape with their lives and salvage what the can with the situation, but catching a break is hard to do!

Crouch starts things off with a bang and doesn’t let up until the very end! The danger, shady characters, and a sweet yet tension filled romance, had me turning pages to find out what would happen next!

Stealth was previously released as Infiltration with Harlequin Intrigue.

I received an advance reader copy from the author and this is my honest review.

Infiltration by Janie Crouch is the type of book that makes me love romantic suspense. Crouch dives right into the action, giving you the characters backstory interwoven with the action. I really prefer this style because it doesn't slow the story down at all.

Infiltration starts by introducing Cam, our hero. Cam is undercover for Omega Sector with a very dangerous gang called DS-13. Sophia is a photgrapher/graphic designer for the FBI. I loved that she worked for the FBI but in the most unassuming position possible! It never occurred to me that the FBI would have so many innocuous jobs but it makes total sense. Once these two cross paths, you realize that this isn't the first time they have met. 5 years prior, they had a relationship. Then Cam broke it off with a short message wishing her the best. It crushed Sophia.

As I mentioned, Crouch drops the reader right into the danger and it doesn't ever let up. Cam has to protect his cover, get the info he needs, and save Sophia from this dangerous group of men. Rapid and exciting, the plot moves seamlessly from one danger to the next, all while building the romance between Cam and Sophia again. I dove into this late one night, fell asleep with my kindle, and when I woke up, went right back to reading. I gobble up Crouch's books like a fat kid with cake. While overall the plot is a bit predictable, and the villain comes across a bit cartoonishly evil, I still enjoyed every page!

If you long for romantic suspense without unnecessary angst and drama, with characters who are smart and savvy, Infiltration should be on your TBR! And, with only a fade to black sex scene, I dub this safe for my mom!!! (Seriously mom, I think you will like this one!)

Fast paced action suspense. I enjoyed this author’s debut book and was looking forward to see what was next. Infiltration, the first in a new series, didn’t disappoint.

Book starts off in the middle of an undercover op, one the heroine accidentally walks into, and the action doesn’t let up until the last page.

Great start to a new series.

I wanted to check out this series as it pops up in a couple of the author's later series. I made it about 30% in before giving it up. Despite all that was happening I was bored. Some things seemed way over the top, making it hard for me to buy, even in fiction. In the end, this one wasn't for me.

I was hooked at page one. This book takes you on an intense, danger filled adventure with surprises around every corner. Author Janie Crouch style of writing puts you right in the middle of the action and keeps you there until the last page. The hero, Cameron, has been working undercover to bring down the group DS-13 and it's leader, who killed his partner. The last thing he expected was for the woman he gave up to become an agent, Sophia, to become his hostage. Now keeping them both alive was his number one goal, as he soon discovered the worst mistake he made was letting her go the first time.

I loved that both characters had real issues to deal with and enjoyed watching Sophia find a strength she never new she had. There were parts that made me cringe, others made me laugh, but the whole book had me cheering for the two to survive and find their happy ever after. I'll definitely be watching for this authors next Omega Sector Intrigue to come out. This one kept me up late reading.

STEALTH is the first instalment in Janie Crouch’s contemporary, adult OMEGA SECTOR romantic suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for the private dark ops organization Omega Sector. This is form US Army Ranger and Omega Sector operative Cameron Branson, and FBI graphic artist Sophia Reardon’s story line.

NOTE: STEALTH is the re-issue of Janie Crouch’s December 2014 release INFILTRATION.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Cam and Sophia) STEALTH follows Sophia Reardon on assignment photograph an abandoned warehouse but a warehouse that as not abandoned at all. Cameron Branson had been working undercover for close to eighteen months in an effort to take down the people who killed his partner but Cameron never expected to come face to face with a woman from his past, a woman who stirred something deep within our story line hero. In an effort to protect the woman with whom he would fall in love, Cameron claims ‘first rights to Sophia Reardon as he struggles to protect our heroine in the face of a potential disaster for his current assignment. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Sophia and Cameron, and the potential fall-out as Cameron’s cover is blown, and Sophia is claimed as collateral damage.

The relationship between Sophia and Cameron is one of second chances. Five years earlier Cameron walked out of Sophia’s life and into a life of dark ops and danger. Fast forward to present day wherein Cameron, in an effort to destroy the people who killed his partner, must now work harder to protect the woman whose heart he broke years before. Sophia has no idea that Cameron was working as an undercover agent but quickly realized that to keep them both alive she was going to have to play the role of prisoner, a prisoner who was falling for her familiar captor. The $ex scenes are limited and mostly implied.

We are briefly introduced to Cameron’s siblings: Dylan, Sawyer and Juliet, as well as their boss at Omega Sector Dennis Burgamy. The requisite evil has many faces.

STEALTH is a story of family, relationships, second chances and love; betrayal, vengeance, power and control. The premise is intriguing and entertaining; the rekindling romance is fated; the characters are energetic and colorful.

Good first book in a new series. It started out fast and kept up the suspense throughout the book. Cam has been working undercover for eight months, to bring down the leader of an organization that murdered his partner. He's in the middle of negotiations when Sophia wanders into the middle of it. He has to find a way to keep her safe while at the same time not blowing eight months of hard work. Sophia had simply gotten lost while trying to find the building she's supposed to photograph for her job. She's a graphic artist for the FBI. She's captured by Cam, who she'd had a brief relationship with five years earlier, before he disappeared without a word. Now she has to depend on him to keep her physically safe, but protecting her heart may be impossible.

What I liked best about Cam and Sophia best was that they were human. Neither one was portrayed as being perfect in their actions and reactions. Cam had left Sophia without a word when he was recruited for the Omega Sector. He had never forgotten her and frequently wishes he'd done things differently. He's determined to bring down the leader of this gang, not just because it's his job, but this one is personal. He is also beginning to feel that he needs a break from undercover work, as he wonders if it is beginning to have a permanent effect on him. He's stunned to see Sophia and has to scramble to find a way to protect her. This is where we get to see that he hasn't lost himself entirely, as he tries to get Sophia to cooperate without terrifying her.

Sophia had never forgotten Cam either. Finding him with a gang of criminals really confuses her at first, because the man she had known would never do such a thing. Once she knows the truth, Cam is the only one who can keep her safe. Though she works for the FBI, she's not an agent. She does do a pretty good job of keeping her head, and at the beginning walks back into danger to save Cam's life. She is working with a pretty serious handicap, in that she is very claustrophobic. There is one point where Cam uses that against her and a couple others where it creates an additional obstacle to her safety. However, we also see that she has the tools to fight it, and in the final confrontation is able to successfully subdue it in order to be an asset rather than a hindrance.

As neither Cam nor Sophia had forgotten each other, their reunion was both good and bad. It's bad, because one slip about their past and they could both end up dead. It's good, because it becomes obvious very quickly that there is still a strong connection between them. There are moments when Cam's care for Sophia is so sweet, like when he's helping her through her claustrophobia attacks. There are others when the attraction between them is so hot they can barely think about anything else. I especially loved the scene at the end when Cam made sure she understood how he felt.

The suspense of the book was fantastic from the beginning. Cam does a wonderful job of thinking fast and improvising when Sophia ends up on the scene. The thugs he's working with are definitely scary dudes and their deviousness becomes apparent as Sophia is trying to escape. That scene had me on the edge of my seat as I wondered how it was going to turn out. The addition of the "Ghost Shell" to the plot ramped up the urgency of what Cam had to do, and the danger of being discovered. Extra tension was there as Cam met with the head of the group and had to walk a fine line to keep up his appearances. From that point on it was one crisis after another that kept me riveted until the end.

I am a sucker for rekindled love. Even when it's a case of the wrong time wrong place and under the stress of eluding the bad guys!

Cam took up a position with Omega Sector, very deep dark black ops. But to do so he had to cut ties with Sophia, he knew they were more than casual but he didn't want to drag her into his dark world. But while undercover with DS-13, some very bad guys, Sophia stumbles onto their buy and she ends up captured. How does Cam get her out of Dodge without revealing his true identity?

Sophia works for the FBI but she isn't an agent. She uses her photgraphic/graphic designer skills for them. Who knew taking a couple of photographs of a warehouse would land her in the middle of all this! And Cam - has he truly gone dark or is he undercover as she suspects. Can she help him without getting herself killed in the process?

I'm loving the totally unready and very un-FBI skills of Sophia. She may think she's not ready for this adventure but her steely spine under pressure and the way she takes a slap from Cam to keep their cover was amazing! I still think she may have let Cam off a wee bit too easy over the hurtful way he dropped out of their relationship. It left her feeling inadequate and with self-esteem issues which led to a rather horrible accident that still affects her.

Cam sure fits into the family business. I loved meeting his very different brothers. The banter and was totally believable. Baby brother is one to watch. Big Brother - oh he is so intriguing, I'm desperate to know why he left Omega!

This is very light on the passion front - it's a face to black and off-page if you know what I mean so would be suitable for those who don't like steam or for older teenagers.

Cameron was working undercover to bring down the group DS-13 when, in the middle of an arms sale, in walks his ex, Sophia. Playing the undercover part Cam had developed, he kidnaped Sophia, managing to keep her with him while he kept working deeper into the organization.

I loved Cam and Sophia. I was impressed by how Cam came up with a way to keep Sophia safe while still keeping his cover. As a graphic artist for the CIA, Sophia didn't have the training for the situation she found herself in. But she was a fast thinker and helped Cam through a lot of difficult situations. I loved that she didn't show fear to the bad guys and that she accepted Cam's profession when he was finally able to tell her what he really did.

I was pulled into the story from the moment I met the main characters. The sense of danger coming from the pages sent a chill down my spine. This book had me on the edge of my seat. I was scared for the pair at times.

I am so glad that I won this book in a Just Romantic Suspense giveaway and highly recommend it. I first read this book about five years ago. Reading it again now, I enjoyed it even more. It has recently had a new cover and name, more in keeping with the story. The new title is Stealth.

From page one Infiltrator pulled me into the dark, edgy, and dangerous undercover world. The author's storytelling gifts come out in the captivating, additively smooth flow of the tale, with humorous and witty dialog bits, that makes you laugh out loud when you least expect it.
The fierce, energetic action kept its hold on me. The encounters with the criminal group, DS-13, are sharp and intense. The kind of confrontations that have the gut-wrenching effect, and makes you bite your nails off.
The romance between Sofia and Cameron is at times so sweet and tender, while their attraction and passion for each other are distinct and scorching. So many swoon-worthy moments in the story, that made me smile, and are just adorable!
The Bronson siblings are entertaining and boisterous. I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out and read their stories.
Smart, charming, and delightful characters, with the edge-of-your-seat action
~ Five spoons all the way!

This was my first read by Janie Crouch and I am so hooked!!! The way that Janie mixed romance in with the suspense and thrill of this story was beyond my expectations. I was hooked from the very first chapter of this book and did not want to out it down!!!

The way that Cameron takes on the role of protector for Sophia from the very beginning of their adventure was heart warming. Cameron had to do things that broke his heart and made him realize his true feelings for Sophia!!! Sophia was confused at times about what Cameron was trying to convey to her about his feelings for her. She did not understand why he treated her the way he did in some situations but it all soon became very clear to Sophia. I loved how Cameron played the Alpha make role when taking care of Sophia.

Thanks Janie for such an awesome read and I am so looking forward to others in the Omega Sector!!!

I enjoyed this romantic suspense with plenty of action and an interesting plot although it seemed like the bad guys had the upper hand through most of the book. The hero and heroine's struggles made it a good story. Sophia enters a warehouse to take pictures but gets caught in a illegal arms deal and undercover agent Cameron tries to protect her.

Good read. Fast pace. Enough jeopardy to hold my attention. Yep, I liked it!

21/08/22 Once again - I agree with my previous words ( thank goodness! ) - these are quick reads that make sense - and have an arc which also makes sense over the series! So odd, sometimes... for me... JC hits the target and sometimes it is way off out in space somewhere...

I am a huge fan of Janie Crouch's and I was so excited to get a chance to read the newly titled Omega Sector series. Stealth is the new title of Book 1 of the Omega Sector Series. It was formally titled Infiltration.

From the first page, I was hooked like I am with all of Janie’s books and it was so hard to put down!! Janie is so talented to come up with such an intriguing and captivating story! Cameron Branson is your typical protective handsome ex-military man, who wants to make a difference in the world by bringing down the bad guys and saving the world one mission at a time. His current mission has been so long it has him wondering what is right and wrong, but he knows what the goal is and what he needs to do. Sophia Reardon is a quiet beautiful graphic designer/photographer for the FBI, who is perfectly content with her boring desk job and knowing what will come next. Talk about wrong place wrong time- Sophia finds herself on Serial Killers- R-Us Street, gets kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend into a world she never would have imagined, and all while trying to battle the lasting affects of her accident. How she handles herself in this book and what she is able to do is completely amazing! Don’t get me wrong what Cameron does in this book is also incredible how quickly he is able to put his military and Omega training to use. But there is just something about seeing the vulnerable quiet female rise up and just be the bad ass she is while finding herself. I don’t want to give too much away because you should read this book yourself. I promise you won’t regret it!

Since this was one of the first books Janie wrote, it isn’t filled with all the steamy and yummy details of Cameron and Sophia’s relationship like you would find in the Linear Tactical books. I do enjoy those details in my books, but I was not disappointed that those details weren’t in it and didn’t miss them at all.

All the Branson siblings have ties to Omega Sector and I am so curious to know more about their parents. I can only assume the whole family is full of bad ass men and women who are or have saved the world one mission at a time. I love the sense of family you get when you read about the siblings and how close they are.

Sawyer Branson is Cameron’s younger brother. He seems to be a ladies man, a bit of a troublemaker, and a smart ass. I have no doubt Burgamy has his hands full with just Sawyer alone let alone the whole Branson family. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to hear the conversation between Juliet, Burgamy, and Sawyer about his “tripping. I am so ready to dive into his story (Covert Book 2 of the series). I have a feeling he is going to meet his match and she is going to put him in his place.

Dylan Branson is Cameron’s older brother and seems to be the brooding handsome ex-military alpha male as well. But he is more reserved than his younger brothers and I am dying to know why he left Omega, how he got his plane, and what happened to make him who is he is now. I sense it has something to do with a woman. Can’t wait to read his story (Secret, Book 4) too!!

Juliet Branson is the only girl of the Branson siblings and she was only mentioned a couple times, but I have no doubt her story (Conceal, Book 3) will be just as intriguing as her brothers if not more. I am always up for the super smart and sexy heroine to save the day and the handsome hunk. Lol!

I recommend this book and Omega Series books in addition to all of Janie Crouch’s other books (Linear Tactical Series, Instinct Series, Risk Series, and more).

Another great storyline for Janie. I loved her Linear Series and now I am onto the Omega series.

This book combines intense danger, suspense, romance and lots of surprises throughout the book.

Cameron works for Omega which is an elite interagency task force and has been undercover within the criminal organization for 8 months trying to take down a DS-13 and find the person within that organization that killed his partner last year.

Meeting with his handler his job takes on another challenge. DS-13 has obtained a technology called Ghost Shell that is so powerful it could cripple communications with government agencies, etc. Now his main objective is to get Ghost Shell out of the hands of DS-13 before they can sell it to some terrorist group.

Cam has been trying to meet with the man in charge but doesn't want to appear to anxious. He setup a sale of weapons in an attempt to prove his loyalty to DS-13. As the sale was going on Cam stood off to the side and let Fin do all the talking when he sees a car coming up to the warehouse.

Sophia Reardon worked for the FBI as a graphic designer and was only at the warehouse as a favor to another FBI agent. She was here to take a few pictures to compare it to another warehouse that was burned down by a serial arsonist.

She'd take a few picture and be on her way but once she stepped into the warehouse her she took a deep breath to remind herself there was plenty of air. She had become claustropobic after an accident that left her trapped 5 years ago.

She began her climb when someone reached out and covered her mouth so she couldn't scream. "What the hell are you doing here" the deep voice stated. She immediately started flaying trying to get out of the hold he had on her but couldn't. The man kept telling her to calm down, that he didn't want to hurt her.

The last thing he expected was for the woman he gave up to become an agent, Sophia, to become his hostage. Now keeping them both alive was his number one goal, as he soon discovered the worst mistake he made was letting her go the first time.

I loved both character, but Sophia was one of my favs as she has to find her strength in order to help Cam take down DS-13.

A must read.

I received a free copy for an honest and voluntary review. This book is has been rebranded and retitled "Stealth" So for those of us that may have purchased a book from your local retailer a few years back and you're thinking you read this book, you probably did. Im finding 2 things, 1) Harlequin didn't have some books as Ebook options when they came out and have no released them with a new copywrite date or the author has obtained the rights back to the book from a publisher, but has to make some changes to the book in order to be able to get the royalties that they well deserve. In this case Harlequin is holding the reins and decided to recover and re-release
This series the Omega Sector, is what launched Ms. Crouch's career, and reading this book its easy to see why I crave her new releases. She has a way to drawing the reader into the plot, which is always fast paced and you never know what's around the next corner.
In this book we have Agent Cameron Branson, aka Cam Cameron, who is under cover with the nefarious crime syndicate DS-13. Cam is trying to take down the leader Mr. Smith for the death of his partner last year, but also to help stop the sale of weapons and technology to various terrorist groups. Innocently his former flame, and now graphic designer for the FBI Sophia Reardon wanders into the warehouse where an arms deal is going down. Before Cam realizes who he's dealing with he just wants to save the poor woman that shows up at the wrong time. But once he figures out who she is determined to get her to safety, except every attempt he makes is cut off by some other action and off we go on a wild ride. If you want to find out what happens, I'm not telling, you just need to read the book.

Stealth is the first book in the Omega Sector series. Cameron has been undercover for too long and is shocked when his ex disrupts an already dangerous situation. The danger only gets worse for Cameron and Sophia, as they try to capture something that could save millions of lives. But will they be able to save each other in time to face their love?

Oh my goodness, talk about a heart pounding starter to a romantic suspense series! Sophia and Cameron captivated me right from the very first chapter and I loved that while Cameron was a good guy, he definitely had to play at being a bad guy to keep them both safe. Sophia knows she’s not meant for the field and has a really big phobia, but I loved how strong she remained in this book, how resilient and adaptable she became, and how she put their safety above her own comfort. Cameron had so much revenge on his heart, but I loved that as soon as he saw Sophia again, he knew his life needed to change. I liked how protective he was, I liked his courage and his need to make the world a better place. Most of all, I loved how well the two of them worked together! They had a foundation from their past, and that connection still felt so strong! They had passion, but it wasn’t the focus of this book. Instead, danger, suspense, and a romance that they’ll fight for reigns supreme! I loved reading this book and look forward to the next one in this series!

Omega agent Cameron Branson has spent the last eight months deep undercover to take down a crime syndicate and avenge his friend's death. He's this close to getting a meet with the big boss, when his former crush, the girl he severed all ties with when he was recruited, stumbles into a warehouse...

A decent premise, but utterly ruined by the heroine. Panicky, whiny, carrying a torch for a guy who didn't even touch her five years ago, but she knows he's her soulmate and resenting him for ghosting her, she was the epitome of damsel in distress, despite the brief moments of spunk and spine the author threw in to make her appear stronger. I especially hated how she blamed Cameron for her claustrophobia brought on by a car crash she was in a day after he disappeared, because she was supposedly so "distressed"...On the other hand, her first thought in the very first scene she appeared in the book, was that she's gotten lost. Not a good indication of her mental capacity, either way. Either she's stupid enough to get lost (and TSTL to stumble on an arms deal) or she's so prone to being codependent, she went into a meltdown because the guy she was dating (not even sleeping with) disappeared.

The suspense wasn't that great either. A constantly rehashed Harlequin plot about a guy deep undercover to bring down a crime ring/lord, suddenly having his hands full trying to keep a former flame (that still burns bright) from getting killed. Meh.

Sophia never expects to see her ex-flame Cam again, much less be kidnapped by him and his associates. Not all is at it seems. Cam is deep undercover, trying to take down the bad guys and Sophia happens to be in the wrong place at the absolute worst time. She can't help but be just a little bit happy about it, however, since this situation has brought the one man she thought was her forever back into her life.

Cam is stunned to see the girl he left behind five years earlier when he committed his life to top secret work. He's thought about her every day since then and realizes that despite the dire circumstances, this might be a chance to make things right and bring Sophia back into his life.

The story is filled with intrigue, bad guys, and has a breakneck pace. I read this in a single sitting because I had to find out how the story resolved itself. Sophia reveals a hidden inner strength that makes her a very attractive lead character and a good match for the honorable Cam. He's got a good moral compass and is devoted to Sophia's safety. If he can just help them survive for the next few days, he'll never let Sophia go again.

Four stars for this suspense-driven second chance romance.

A great read about an Omega operator, Cameron, who is undercover to bust the “Boss of a ruthless crime syndicate, a boss who killed his partner many months ago while undercover. Cam is close to getting in and meeting the boss, but now has a distraction, Sophia, a woman he left behind five years ago and now ends up right in the thick of his undercover operation. Sophia has no idea what is going on when she bumps into Cam and he orders her to leave so she doesn’t get caught....but doesn’t succeed. Even after five years, she never forgot him and is now hoping that he is undercover and didn’t actually turn into a bad guy after all these years. As Cam tries to protect Sophia through unorthodox ways, they rediscover what they had and Cam realizes that getting Sophia out alive is more important than vengeance.
I enjoyed this read even though there were no steamy scenes, the tension and insinuation was there which added to the attraction and sparks between these two. The story flowed nicely, with plenty of suspense and action and I loved the no drama between them.

A flying start to the Omega Sector series, Stealth is fast paced and action packed from the outset. Working for the FBI in one of its least dangerous jobs graphic designer/photographer Sophie is taking photos of an old warehouse as a favour to a colleague, the last person she expects to stumble across is Cameron the man who ghosted and left her devastated 5 years ago. Omega agent Cam has been undercover with DS-13 for eight months trying to find those responsible for his partner’s death, now he must scramble to maintain his cover, keep Sophia safe and get the information he needs.
The plot weaves Sophia and Cam from danger to danger whilst their romance rekindles and builds, can they stay alive long enough to have a future? This is an excellent romantic suspense story with some very mild heat and great characters, lots of action and plenty of suspense, it will keep you engaged until the end.

Originally titled Infiltration, this book has been re-released with a new cover and title.
I received an arc from the author and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

If all the Omega Sector books by Janie Crouch rise to the level of Stealth I am in for a great reading experience. Two remarkable main characters who are multilayered, intelligent and genuinely likeable in a second chance romance with suspense, fast paced action and danger.

Cameron Branson has been undercover for eight month and he's starting to lose pieces of his soul to his bad guy persona. But he's determined to complete his mission and obtain justice for his murdered partner. He's oh so close when Sophia Reardon innocently stumbles into a place she has no business being and puts herself in jeopardy. Here's the kicker. She's the woman he walked away from five years ago. She's got grit, moxie and determination even though she's scared out of her wits by her circumstances. Then there's the fact that try as she might she's never gotten over Cam. He may be the one protecting her but she keeps saving his butt from the bad guys.

Sophia Reardon was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The only good thing that came from it was reuniting with Cameron Branson after he disappeared from her life 5 years prior. She stumbled into his undercover operation and things go from bad to worse and back again a few times. Factor in a dirty FBI agent and a possible mole at Omega Sector and Cam's brothers and well things get pretty hairy at the end.

Ms. Crouch writes a story full of intrigue, action, and bad guys. Her heroine has fears that could drag her down if she lets them but with Cam's help she finds the strength and the courage to save herself in the end. Her heroine is strong and a good match for Cam He is man enough to realize he made a mistake 5 years ago and when he learns of what his departure meant to Sophia and what happened shortly after he left, humanized him a bit.

I will definitely read the next book in the series.

Title Stealth
Author: Janie Crouch
Format: ebook
Genre: romantic suspense, second chance
Standalone: yes
Part of a Series: book 1 of Omega Sector
POV: Cameron , Sophia
Steam Level: minimal
4/5

Stealth is book 1 in the Omega Sector series. Cam is deep undercover trying to take down a crime Syndicate and get justice for his partner who they killed. Sophia is a graphic artist who was sent to take pictures of a warehouse where she accidentally stumbles into a weapons buy that Cam set up. Luckily Can us the one to find her so he tries to send her away before the others see her. Tries is the key word there. Things go from tense to really tense as Can tries to keep his cover while protecting the woman he loves.

It’s been a while since I’ve read Janie Crouch and I’ve only read some of her later books. I enjoyed the action and suspense of Stealth. I also liked that Sophia wasn’t the typical helpless heroine but was smart and quick-thinking.

Stealth (Infiltration) is a fantastic romantic suspense by Janie Crouch. Ms. Crouch has provided readers with a well-written book loaded with an outstanding group of characters. Cam is undercover and is close to meeting the man that killed his partner when Sophia stumbles across their arms deal in progress. Sophia is shocked when her ex grabs her and warns her to get out of there. Cam and Sophia's story is packed with drama, action, spice and suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Janie Crouch in the future. Stealth is book 1 of the Omega Sector Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
