I don’t get why this book is getting so many good reviews and saying how perfect the H is, am I reading a completely different book? This “hero� in this book is a complete asshole and a piece of shit to heroine. Calling her “city girl�, grabbing her wrist and hurting her, crowding her personal space just because he’s oh so self-conscious about his scar. Completely being passive aggressive towards her, he’s ordering her around all the time and she is listening to him like a good little lap dog, like girl where is your backbone, tell that fucker to go fuck himself and show who’s the boss. And what I really don’t understand is that she’s an abuse victim and when H grabbed her wrist and shouted in her face she wasn’t afraid and was all like “yeah, he’s intimidating, from one side I’m a bit afraid but from other I want to get closer and lean into him� where’s the triggers? Weren’t you an abuse victim from your ex-boyfriend and suddenly when H physically grabbed you so roughly and pushed you around it all disappeared? Don’t sell me this shit. This Drake guy is a motherfucking asshole and he deserves to be killed by those poor wolves he shot to death

Drake and Abby definitely have been through their own personal hells. They meet each other during a dangerous encounter with nature, and the sparks fly. So happy to see them find their own slice of heaven together.

Saving Abby is a must-read romance for 2022!!
This is Ellie Masters writing at its finest! This series has been one good book after another and, if I’m honest, I didn’t think she would be able to top her last one. Boy, did she prove me wrong. Saving Abby had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. It’s atmospheric, suspenseful and crackling with tension and electric chemistry, Saving Abby is a must-read romance for 2022! Loved it. Happy reading everyone

This book was all that I expected from Ellie Masters! This series is one of my favorites and I feel that this is a perfect ending to this one. Each one of these books have their own HEA and this one has become one of my favorites!
Abby wants nothing more that to start a clean slate after leaving her life behind and Drake seems to know exactly what he wants in life and isn't afraid to go after it.

I enjoy books written by Ellie Masters. I heeded the warning at the beginning of the book about it being insta-love. I loved how she wrote a warning to be careful of confusing fiction and real life in new relationships at the beginning as well.
Drake is a dream, but came with a bit of mystery. Abby had healing from an abusive relationship to overcome. Because she had just left that relationship, it made it hard for me to become emotionally invested in their relationship. Especially since Drake had instances of being overbearing.
If this book could have been longer and more detailed, I would have loved the read. The storyline was great with wonderful characters.

Saving Abby (The One I Want #6) by Ellie Masters is a fast paced contemporary romance story, full of angst and excitement with plenty of passion as you follow Abby and Drake's journey together.
Abby Knight is on her way to Peace Springs, Montana seeking refuge and a new beginning working at her Uncle's clinic as a doctor. Leaving her abusive boyfriend behind in California with only three suitcases, she finds herself driving into a freaky snow storm when she is run of the road by a Moose ending up in a ditch. Now she is on foot, freezing to death trying to make it to town when she is surrounding by a pack of Wolves with no chance of escaping until a savior appears and takes matters into his own hands. The attraction between Abby and this rugged, handsome scarred man is explosive. After introductions are made Drake and Abby banter back in forth as Drake takes Abby to his friend's home to give her shelter and food until the storm passes. This is book six in The One I Want Series and it is Abby and Drake's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Abby had been in a abusive relationship and to get away she is on her way to Peace Springs so that she can join her uncle and he a doctor in his practice so that she can start her life and get a fresh start but things start out had when a snow storm hits and then she ends up in a ditch and has to start walking in the snow and then things get worse when she is surrounded by a lack of Wolfe's and when she is rescued she is hoping that things would only get better as she has some great memories of when she used to visit Peace Springs in the summer. Drake has been tracking a lack of Wolfe's as they have been attacking live stock when he comes across Abby surrounded a wolf's and he managed to save her and get her to safety. The chemistry and connection between Abby and Drake is instant, strong and intense but Abby has gone through so much at the hands of her ex boyfriend and Drake has his own demons but what will they do with the feelings that they start to get for each other after such a short time and then on top of that Abby finds out that her uncle dying so where will that leave them all. Danger is just around the corner waiting to strike and someone is watching and waiting for the right time to strike but will they all get out safe and have a happy ending only time will tell what the outcome will be for them all. Omg I absolutely loved this book and I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting as I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and it was so emotional and addictive. Ellie Masters is an amazing author and writer and the depth of her story's are what makes you go back time and time again to read her book's and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and on the edge of their seats and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will not be disappointed.

Wow, so good! Drake and Abby were such an amazing couple.
Abby got away to start a new life as a doctor working with her uncle in his medical practice when she meets Drake, an ex military guy who saves her.
I loved the alpha side is Drake but he was caring, romantic and bought the steam. But I loved Abby too, who had been through hell and was just amazing in her own right.
This was dramatic, steamy romantic and intense. I felt bad with what she had to deal with with her ex but also with her uncle Pete. But Drake was always there, watching over her.
Ellie Masters gives us a brilliant story that was just wonderful. Well written, great characters and intertwined plot. Great work! Can't wait for more!!.

And this is just the beginning of the book!
Upon arriving at her uncle's house she finds that he is ill and their time together may be much shorter than she expected. After losing her parents her uncle is her last remaining family and she has to come to terms with saying goodbye.
Drake, the man who saved Abby during the snowstorm also has his own pain and healing that he is working through. The two have an immediate attraction and find comfort in each other through sharing their pain.
This book has strong but wounded characters. They are each learning how to move forward and find strength in each other. There is action and small town camaraderie, joy and sorrow.

Loved Drake and Abby.
Saving Abby was a steamy insta lust/love story between Drake and Abby, their first meeting wasn't a hearts and flowers moment it was more of a life and death situation.
Drake and Abby first meet when a pack of wolves decides to make Abby their snack.
I loved how Drake just appeared at the right time, the ultimate hero rescuing a damsel in distress.
From the minute they meet they have an instant reaction to each other, Abby is drawn to Drake in a way she doesn't understand but can't ignore. I loved how they couldn't fight their connection and how Drake knew Abby was something special straight away. I do love a man who knows what he wants and goes for it.
Drake and Abby's story goes for it full steam ahead, full of spice, witty banter, dirty talking and scorching chemistry. Another fantastic story in the One I Want series.

This is The One I Want love story for Abby Knight and Drake. Wow Abby is one tough woman to stand strong after all the terror she went through. I loved how smitten Abby and Drake are of each other, yes they both have pain from their pasts but they find true love and a home in each other’s arms. I loved how this book ends for them but cried for Abby and her grandfather.

Being in an abusive relationship is awful. Getting out of one takes courage, strength, and help from people you trust. Abby is doing just that. Drake has had his own tragedy also. Ellie Masters stories are fantastic and each one draws you in wanting more. I went through a lot of emotions while reading this .

This book pulled on all the heart strings, happy, sad, mad, etc. I want to read more about Peace Springs. It reminded me of my childhood in SD. Drake finds Abby in the middle of the road after she crashes her Jeep. She's moving to Peace Springs to start over. She has no clue what will happen or what her history is in the town.

Saving Abby is a beautiful and very emotional story where Abby gets a second chance at life and love. Full of mystery and suspense leaves you turning pages as fast as you can read! Abby meets Drake in the very beginning but she isn't ready for a new relationship after just getting out of an abusive relationship. Drake is a hunky determined man who claims her right away and proceeds to prove to her that she's his. The chemistry between them is amazing. This story is so true to life and I totally recommend reading it!!

Drake is a growly, gruff and gloriously muscled hero with big, warm heart. He sets his sights on claiming Abby for his own after he meets her during a snowstorm. That fact that she doesn’t freak out, throw tantrum or have hysterics while staring down wolves or hiking during the storm towards shelter told him then and there that she had grit, determination and courage, and he definitely wants to know her better. Funnily enough, Abby doesn’t see herself as strong after suffering through a relationship with her abusive ex. Moving to the small Montana town she visited as a child and joining her uncle’s medical practice has given her a chance to start over and gain some confidence again. Meeting Drake is fortuitous and not only saves her life, but also changes her future. They both have had painful pasts, but have not closed their hearts to love. They certainly have intense chemistry and a a soul deep connection. Insta love or just lust? They will find out together.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her writing style as well as her attention to details that make her stories come to life. This story is no different. This is a suspenseful romance story that has twists and turns that you won't see coming. This is a well written story about second chances and will make you believe in love at first sight. This is an engaging story that is fast paced and hard to put down. A story that ticked all the boxes for me and I think it will for you as well. I enjoyed how the characters were able to pull me into their story and had me coming back for more. They are relateable and made the story easy and entertaining to read. They are supportive of each other and have great growth. They had me from the start and continued to the end. I never hestiate to pick up one of this author's books and I highly recommend this book. You won't regrett picking it up, a must read.

Abby has escaped a brutal relationship and is moving to Peace Springs to join her uncle's medical practice. As she is driving in a blizzard, she avoids a moose on the road, goes into the ditch, has a wolf pack eyeing her for a meal and meets Drake. Quite the re-introduction to the area. Drake is huge, muscles on muscles and he knows what he want, and that is Abby. Abby finds out her uncle is ill, things start happening that she can no longer blame on local kids and she and Drake get more and more involved. A great story, so hard to put down, full of gentle and super steamy scenes, romance, mystery and suspense, new friendships, danger and some great plot twists. Ellie has such a great imagination and her writing fuels mine. Her great character development and location description puts you right into the story. Loved it.

Our heroine is starting over after an abusive relationship, but she is not off to a good start. Our hero is happy to help her out, but does she need another complication in her life right now? Or is that exactly what she does need?
This is something of a second chance/starting over romance. The story is very well written and easy to read with well developed and very likable characters. I really enjoyed the instant pull between the characters and watching them dance around it. And the steam at the end of the dance was rather enjoyable as well. Overall, a really fun read and I look forward to more from this author.

I love a book where a man chases and keeps chasing til he gets the girl. This story is about Abby. Abby is being abused and leaves to get away. She moves to Peace Springs to join her uncle's medical practice. She has an accident on the way when a moose is in the road and her jeep ends up in the ditch. Now she has to try and walk into town. If that wasn’t bad enough, soon after she is surrounded by a pack of wolves. Luckily, a stranger is there to rescue her but who knew about his instant and strange attraction, nor hers to him.

This was a very good book. Abby and Drake gave me an almost fatal case of The Feels. These two are just so easy to love and feel for. Trust me when I say, my heart just ached for them. The story grabs and maintains your interest with a smartly crafted combination of emotion, drama, tension, danger, heat, suspense and heart. This is my objective, volitional review.

Abby's new start in her uncle's medical practice does not get off to a good start as her car goes off road in a blizzard. A stranger aids her and there is an unexpected attraction. Further shocks await her as her, as well as an unwanted reminder of her previous life. Drake is a strong, formidable ally and protector. Loved the characters and storyline.

Loved Abby and Drake. He is definitely a man who knows what and who he wants. And he wants Abby. Loved the emotion and chemistry in this story. The chemistry jumped out from the pages. This was my first read in this series and I'm hooked. Drake shows Abby what a real relationship is supposed to be like and does so in a short amount of time. So romantic. Love the small town setting and how she finds her peace. They both come from traumatic pasts and can heal and move on together. Great job Ellie!

Abby escapes an abusive ex to go and take over her uncle's medical practice. Along the way she crashes her jeep avoiding an animal and decides to take off on foot. Not realizing the dangers that lurm in this small town. Sh eis surrounded by wolves and along comes Drake who rescues her. Ther is an immediate connection, but will that connection be enough for the two of them? This is an emotional read and will take you through every emotion all tje way to the end. There is so much suspe ae and twists and turns it will have your head spinning. Expect to be glued to the end and not want to get up until you finish.
