3 Off to a great start Stars

I may be bad to the bone, baby, but sometimes bad people do good things.

This was my first book by either one of the authors, and I can say it definitely won't be my last. It was a very unique spin on the typical MC romance, and I enjoyed it for that alone. However, there was one big key element that kept it from being any higher of rating for me, but I'll get to that in a bit.

Brett 'Ice' Grady spends his night as a member of a brutal MC and his days being a single father to his teenage daughter after losing his wife in an accident years ago. He's not looking to put his heart through the ringer like that again so he's perfectly contempt to get his rocks off with any woman that meets his fancy that particular night. His main focus is his club and their determination to bring down the people responsible for the kidnapping and trafficking women from their town.

Ice is not man to mince words and he's certainly not concerned about sparing the feelings of some uptight woman that can't even seem to keep a tight reign on her rebellious sister that's best friends with his daughter.

Morgan Powell's only focus is to be the perfect daughter, the perfect worker, and the perfect everything. Raised by cold parents that only care about their image, Morgan was the golden child. But while she may have a great career as an investment broker, her lovelife leaves something to be desired.
I wouldn't know what to do with a penis if it was given to me gift wrapped in Christmas paper and topped with a bow.

Sorry. Couldn't help myself :)

Ice and Morgan don't meet under the best of circumstances when Ice brings the girls back from a party that they weren't supposed to be at and clearly intoxicated. To say that they butt heads would be an understatement.

Ice was the perfect asshole hero that I usually love the hell out of. However, here, it missed the mark for me a little bit. But not because of anything he does or says...It was the lack of relationship development.

Here's the thing; the suspense and action part of the story was highly intriguing and engrossing. It was gritty and at times downright bloody and dark. I loved it! The world of the Regulator MC is brutal and the authors spare no punches in bringing the reader into the very darkest pits of the depravity that they deal with. But not everything is as it seems and the twist that was worked into the story was one I definitely did NOT see coming and absolutely loved.

Unfortunately I found the romance aspect of the book to be highly lacking. It jumps around quite a bit; one week later, one month later, 3 months later but with no clear relationship development with the MCs. I really needed that to truly get invested in their relationship. As it was, Morgan and Ice go from hating each other, to lust, to love? But none of that is conveyed through the story aside from the time jumps. It really kept me from really believing the connection between the two characters. Truthfully, as much as I loved Ice, I never connected to Ice with Morgan. There were some great moments that were thrown in..

But I really needed more from that.

Then there was the fact that one of the MC members (luckily a secondary character) was nicknamed Screech, and all I could see every time I read that was..

Yes, he had a very small roll, but it's tough to get into the badass vibe with a mental visual like that. I probably just dated myself with that, but hey, it is what it is.

Aside from that, I found this to be a good start to what looks to be a very promising series...ESPECIALLY with the set up for the next two books. I will definitely be reading the next books just to find out what happens. Not every series has a perfect start so I'm hoping the romance will be a little better in the next books. But to be perfectly honest, I'd read it for the suspense and story alone, I liked it that much. But the romance would definitely be a great bonus.

3.5 I smell potential!

It's not really a 4-star book, but it does have a lot of potential. It's the first time I've read this author and well, she's pretty great, gotta check her out.

Anyway, this is a pretty good MC book. I love the idea that they're . So they're definitely good guys!

I'm writing this review after having finished the 2nd and 3rd book and I see a recurring problem: the female characters aren't that great. Dunno if the idea was to emphasise the guys or something, but well, I want more from my girls too.
Don't get me wrong, they're not bad or something, they're just not that great.

All in all, it's a series worth trying out!

This is not your average MC. There is so much more to them. Oh, they are hot guys, inked, alpha womanizers. Ice/Brett heads them and is a no-nonsense guy. Ask his teenage daughter. If you think single dad is a push over--not this one. He doesn't have relationships after losing his wife he has encounters. He also has deep secrets.

Morgan is a professional, a bit on the staid side, and innocent. Her sister comes to Morgan to live (that is another story) Friends with Ice's daughter they have several terse meetings. Surprisingly, it takes a while before any kind of relationship starts. Contrary to some reviewers, I liked the delayed relationship due to what was going on to delay them..Of course, there are kidnappings, bad guys--really bad guys, business issues, and so much more going on. Never a dull quiet moment.

I loved this beginning of the series. So much so I've already purchased the next two books and can't wait to read them.

This was a fast and easy read. Not too much happening, and not too much romance. I liked it. It was enjoyable enough, however not the best. I didn't really get the 'biker feels', but the story was alright either way :)

I have been on a MC romance bender lately and there are all kinds out there, ranging from excellent to "why did I waste brain cells reading this." I don't give this honorific lightly but I have to say that is solidly in the excellent category for me. This is not your average MC romance and that is exactly what I loved about it. Oh sure, it has some common tenets to other MC romances but there is a plot twist with this one that will leave you eagerly reading to the end. I absolutely loved all the characters--primary and secondary--and am eagerly waiting for Hammer's story. But be prepared to be angry and shed a tear. There is a particularly heartbreaking portion of the story involving one of the characters (no spoilers). is a quick read with an excellent storyline and I highly recommend it.

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5

I read a lot of books, so I can confidently say that Ice by Chelsea Camaron and Jessie Lane is by far one of the best books I've had the privilege of reading in 2014. I don't give 5 star ratings freely, but rating this book 5 stars is a no-brainer. Ice is the first book of the Regulators MC series and if the rest of the series is even a quarter as good as Ice this will be one awesome ride.

What makes Ice different than all of the other MC books out there? In my opinion it's the depth. The characters are well developed and complex. The story is basically a story within a story. Just when you think you are dealing with the typical motorcycle club you find that you couldn't be more wrong. Just when you think you know the man that Ice is you catch a glimpse of the real Ice. And just when you think you have read them all when it comes to MC books you read Ice and see how wrong you are.

Brett "Ice" Grady had a teenage wife and a new baby that needed to be cared for. So, he did what any good man would do he did whatever he could to support his family. In his case, he joined the military and did all he could to make his family proud. Then fate struck a cruel hand and he was left a single father with an infant daughter. Again, he did what he does best he stepped up and made the best of what he had to work with. Fast forward several years and he's the president of an MC, running a strip club and raising a teenage daughter. He knows the bad that the world tries to hide and he'll stop at nothing to keep Brooke safe and keep the crime as far away from his territory as possible.

Morgan Powell was raised to be the perfect daughter. She worked so hard to make her parents happy that she never had the chance to discover who "she" really was. Sadly, her younger sister has learned what happens when you don't measure up. Kicked out and literally erased from their lives she turns to Morgan for help and a place to live. Morgan wants to be there for Madyson and give her the unconditional love that she herself never got. But, playing the wild teenager is causing Morgan more trouble than she is prepared to deal with. Madyson's sneaking out and running wild is a pain in itself, but she's including her best friend Brooke in her antics which brings a very hot, scary, and judgmental Ice to her doorstep one too many times.

When Madyson doesn't come home one night Morgan exhausts every avenue to find her, but no one will help her. The police say they are doing all they can, but don't seem to be doing anything really. Their parents don't care. As far as they are concerned they don't have a daughter named Madyson. With no other options Morgan is forced to accept help from Ice and the Regulators MC. What follows is an emotionally charged roller coaster that is sure to bring tears to your eyes and make your heart beat out of your chest.

Seriously, this book is a must read. I am all about MC books these days. I read them for the sexy, badass attitudes and the free living fun. When I pick up an MC book I am not counting on substance. You'll get both with this book. I can not wait to read more about these awesome characters and more from these amazing authors.

Re-read February 2017. 4.5 Stars for me. One of my favorites.

I have read previous books by both of these authors and really like their writing style. The combined efforts by both authors in this book has resulted in a really good love story with lots of hot alpha ex-military men. There is no insta/lust or insta/love. The story covers several months before the couple actually become romantically involved. During that time, Ice is pretty mush an a-hole because he is fighting any romantic entanglement with any woman. Morgan is your prim and proper good girl who has never been exposed to the kind of life Ice leads. One of the things that endeared Ice to me was the relationship with his teenage daughter. He is a single parent raising a strong spirited teenage girl due to the death of her mother. There's suspense and violence around a human trafficking plot and the MC turns out to be more than just your regular MC. There's no cheating once there is a committed relationship and there's a HEA with no cliff hanger. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

We see characters from Jessie Lane's Ex-Ops series as well as Shooter/Tessie from Merciless Ride by Cameron. The two bonus stories at the end of the book are about characters from and . I can highly recommend both of those books also.

Perverse

These two degenerate women Jessie Lane and Chelsea Cameron wrote a book wherein on the first page, PAGE FING 1, the male lead and father of a sixteen yo daughter is getting a blow job in his home by some random and said daughter walks in from school mid suck. He puts his dick away wishing she had come in 5 mins later so he could “get off and goes to talk to her as if it didn’t matter. How romantic we have father of the year as the male lead. WTF DISGUSTING, DEPRAVED BS IS THIS! You and others like you should be banned!

2.5 stars...not quite sure what that was all about, but it was kind of all over the place, at least in my opinion. I didn't really feel the connection between the MC's & something just rubbed me the wrong way about the hero.

Let's just say it wasn't my favorite...at least it has a somewhat hot cover. Moving on.

Audible has really disappointed me. My military romance search delivered 3 duds. I didn't even clock the other one, but I'm putting notes out here for this one so I can save other lives who might be tempted to read.

In the first 10 minutes of the book:

The MMC is getting a BJ from a woman when his 16-yo daughter interrupts, then he tells the woman to GTFO and he has no use for her. (the BJ part doesn't bother me, it's the fact he has a freaking daughter and you know I hate kids in fics)

His wife was killed by a drunk driver, leaving him a single dad when his daughter was 3-yo.

His mom, who raised the daughter while he was away being a green beret, dies of CANCER.

So those were 3 strikes for me. I know a few of you don't like fics like this so I'm putting this here as a warning.

4 1/2 stars, I was shocked how fast I finished this book, from word one i was hooked and call me a gluten but I love a hero who treats the heroine like crap and then realizes she's the one and sets out to make it up to her and make her his. Ice was definitely that hero, the minute he meets Morgan he treats her like crap but under that all her is a great hero and he does make up for how he treated her and realizes what he did. Though he was a jerk the reason behind is is the love he has for his teen daughter.

Growing up Morgan was taught to obey her parents and that hasn't gone away, she works and has few friends and thats her life. One night she is woken up by her sister and a huge biker dropping her off and an attitude telling her to take better care of her sister. Knowing how her parents are Morgan cover for her sister. Answering her phone one day Morgan finds out her sister was kicked out of their parents house and offers her sister a place to stay. As weeks go by her sister seems to be doing better till she gets a call from the biker letting her know that her sister and his daughter went to a party and that she got drugged. Rushing to her sister she once again gets the angry biker looking down on her.

Ice doesn't care amore about anyone more than his daughter so when he finds out she has been partying he's furious that Morgan was supposed to watch his daughter. Ice doesn't have time for adults who don't know how to take care of kids especially in his line of work. When he finds out Morgans sister is missing and that it may be linked to the string of missing girls he is investigating and he see's how broken Morgan is he agrees to help. The more time he spends with Morgan and seeing her interaction with his daughter the harder it is to deny his feelings. Promising to bring her sister home safe Morgan can't deny the feelings she has that grow the more time she spends with Ice. But finding Morgans sister isn't the end and when it all seems settled Ice has plans to make sure Morgan is his in every way.

There were a few things I didn't like as much, didn't like isn't really the right word but more wished had been different. Yeah I didn't like this the book ends at 70 + % ugh I hate that in a book. I was reading along LOVING this book keeping an eye on the percentage because I loved the book so much reading thinking yes I have some more to go then I turn the page and bam we are at epilogue. Also I wish that we had gotten more of an internal dialogue from Ice about how he felt about Morgan, yes we get that but I wanted more. He is a man of action but I wanted more about his love for Morgan. And last was my wish for a longer epilogue. I am an epilogue junkie I want every book to get an epilogue and this book has a nice length epilogue but I was enjoying it so much I wasn't ready for it to end.

After all that none of it was really negative, well except for me thinking I had 30% more to read then no:} I loved this book, this is an amazing writing duo they not only work together they shine together. They created an amazing book from beginning to end and I can't wait for the next two books in this series, they will be auto reads for me. Not only did I love the story between Morgan and Ice but I loved the side characters who were just as important and just as carefully created as Ice and Morgan.

Ice was an amazing hero, yes he is a huge jerk at the beginning but that just made his transformation all the more huge and made him a great hero in the end. Ice was possessive with a capital P, he didn't even want his friends to touch Morgan, and once he realized she was it even thought they weren't together he knew no other woman would be able to "fill" in for his "needs". Morgan started as a people pleaser and turned into a strong caring loving heroine who would do anything to protect those she loved.

This story is not just Ice and Morgan and because of that this story is filled to overflowing of story but not so much (or maybe I should say it was done right) so I never felt lost or like the other characters took away from what the story truly is, a love story about Ice and Morgan. This is one of those books that you not only want the other characters to get a book but you also want to get more into the world of this MC, and I'm really hoping that we get updates on Ice and Morgan with the next book. This book was just what I was looking for and I can't wait to see the growth of these two amazing authors as they grow the longer they write together.

BAD, REALLY BAD

## AWFUL. This guy is no hero, that's for sure.

I detest when I have to read about the hero having sex with other women. The opening line is literally: Suck harder. And his kid walks in on him. And every time after HE is satisfied, he tells the woman de jour to "get out, I'm done with you". Charming! NOT.

Not only are there the constant comparisons to the dead wife, but apparently there's also Kara (an ex) to live up to as well.

He employs strippers and hookers and samples them regularly. Jeez, this guy couldn't be any further from father material.

We are about 50 pages in before Ice even speaks to this heroine. He is rude, condescending and insulting. Every time they see each other, he's a complete di*k insulting her looks and telling her she has a stick up her ass. How he ends up with her is beyond me.

And why does the best friend always have to be so much better looking than the heroine? She's so perfect, yet the hero chooses the plain, dowdy heroine? Come on.

I can't even believe a woman wrote this. This " hero" was so over the top. He has to have SOME redeeming qualities! There is no affection, no respect for women, no concept of right & wrong. Nothing.

Skip this. I wish I had.

Ice, a romantic suspense, is the first book in the Regulators MC series by Jessie Lane and Chelsea Cameron. Fans of Joanna Wylde will enjoy these sexy, bad arse, overly dominant alpha men who walk a fine line between justice and revenge. Action packed with plenty of violence and mayhem is tempered by an antagonistic humorous romance between a VERY grumpy biker-Ice-and the straight laced accountant that steals his heart. Though this can be read as a stand alone, the Ex Op series by Lane and the Hellion series by Cameron both introduce the Regulators and offer some background into their history.

Wicked. That was my first thought after reading this exceedingly good story. This is book one in this series. These two authors did a fantastic job with this story. I love MC stories so of course I couldn't wait to read this book. It exceeded my expectations. I loved it.

Ice is the president of the Regulators. As well as running the club he is bringing up his daughter himself. Ice and Morgan are complete opposites. You need to 1-click their story as I'm spilling nothing!

Brilliant storyline with unexpected twists and turns. I loved it and am so looking forward to reading more of the series.

I've been searching for a good, popular MC book and I haven't had much luck. The same thing happens when I try post-apocalyptic romance. I'm attracted to the subgenre but I have trouble finding one that hits the sweet spot.

Ice begins with one of my not-favorite things: the whore bj. The hero is getting a bj from some lady he doesn't respect. Boo! Then his daughter walks in--oops. I'm a sucker for a devoted single dad hero, so I continued reading. The writing style is engaging (though the mechanics and punctuation are far from perfect) and the hero is an interesting mix of protective asshole and just plain asshole. Ice is the president of an MC who runs two strip clubs (male and female, cool points there). This is a cover though. He's actually a member of some secret assassin team that is hunting down a human trafficker. Weirdly, he takes in working girls who need protection and allows them to sell sex through the club. So he's kind of a "good pimp" who kills bad pimps? I don't even know. Let's not worry about it.

The heroine is a nice, sweet, younger (24 to his 34 or so) virgin with some backbone but not much personality. The most interesting thing about her is her best friend, a stripper who works at one of Ice's clubs. The heroine's younger sister is bffs with Ice's daughter.

Ice's wife died in a car accident years ago. His mother died a few years later. They were both good women, and he used to date one of his strippers, a strong woman he respected. There's another whore-bj scene after which the lady begs for a job and Ice tells her to get lost. I'm not sure what the lesson was. Ask for a job before you give the bj? Don't give out free bjs?

There are more strip club dynamics than MC dynamics, and whore bjs aside, the treatment of women overall is not sleazy. There are no evil bitches. The hero doesn't have sex with the heroine until the very end, and it's hot. The human trafficking storyline kept me engaged. The villain is Cuban and I believe he's the only person of color.

Bottom line: I enjoyed it! I think this is sort of a Kristen Ashley type of read. Rec for fans of OTT suspense and hero-centric alpha lovers who don't mind a few writing tics.

Without a doubt the BEST MC book! The Regulators are anything but ordinary in the MC world that I've grown to LOVE. The special twist with their goals were amazing. I just loved the characters from Jessie Lane and Chelsea`s writing. These two are an awesome team.
Morgan Powell is THE perfect daughter, worker and sister. These authors are great and I am a fan of them both so I wanted to see if I could tell who wrote what, and I think, being the super-fan I am, can tell who wrote what parts. The MC genre needed a different take on things, and this one delivers. The Regulator MC is not typical n the genre, they are an elite group. I wont say what they do or their purpose, but it is different.

The main character Morgan give me a lot to look forward to. I know her and her sisters have staying power. Now moving on to Brett "Ice" Grady well he is a military man who has a great story.

Dont miss his past, it is too good. His Mom and his daughter are written in a way making them perfect compliments that give his story more meaning.

Along with Ice we meet a few players like Coal and Hammer. I clearly know Jessie Lane is behind these guys. She writes special ops and military men so well. There is a part of Coal that I love. He is dark and dangerous so I want more of him. I HATE spoilers so I will only say Chapter 18 was the best in the book. It was super dark and gritty and I am a fan of dark and gritty.

When the friendship between Ice's daughter Brooke and Morgan's sister Madyson is the set up for the meeting between the two. Yes there is a love underneath both of the main characters but the story of the Cuban mafia lord Sandoval was what got me totally hooked.

I loved how Chelsea wrote a mob story in her MC books so this was a treat.
As for the sub plot characters, there is drama in Morgan's family tree. Gosh shake that tree and make them rotten apples fall of. Morgan her sister Madyson and Mallory was raised to be perfect, to say that the only one who lives up to the standards is Morgan.

Two worlds do collide in a very interesting way. Fans of MC books, contemporary romance and romantic suspense will enjoy this one. I say it is a must read!

Been anticipating Ice’s book since we met him in Stripping Her Defenses by Jessie Lane. In that book we just got to see the gruff Alpha male side of Ice and knew he had a mysterious background. In this book we find all about out about Brett 'Ice' Grady. To outsiders the Regulators are a MC Club that runs a couple of strip clubs. But the reality is they are a government sanctioned uncover group of ex military men. A group of men who formed a strong bond fighting terrorist now are a band of brothers fighting the bad guys on US soil. A story arc of women being kidnapped to be sold was started in Jessie Lane and Chelsea Camaron other series. Ice and his team have been trying to find a way to bring down the man responsible when the latest kidnapping victim brings things to close to home.

I’ve said it in my previous reviews of Jessie and Chelsea’s books that are related but I love that multiple series are crossing over with story lines and characters. It just makes the reading experience that much more enjoyable. I love the world these authors have built and how some of the characters are on the right side of the law and others not but in the end they are all fighting for the same thing.

Great start to a new series and looking forward to many more books from these talented authors.

BTW - If you buy the book before Jan 6th you get 2 bonus short stories from the Hellions Ride Series & the Ex Ops Series and let me tell you THEY ARE SOOOO GOOD!!!

I didn't like Ice and Morgan enough to give this book more than 3 stars. And they seemed to turn on a dime to suddenly do something out of character to fit the needs of the plot or add some excitement. Furthermore, I thought that the sex Ice had in the beginning of the book was simply gratuitous and showed what an a$$hole he was.

The big, surprising reveal about the Regulators? If you haven't figured it out by the time it's revealed, you're not paying attention.

** JOSIE'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW **

Chelsea Cameron author of the Hellions MC Series and Jessie Lane author of the Ex Ops joined forced and co-authored ICE the Regulator MC Series and if you have read these 2 authors books you know they know how to write some HEAVY DUTY ALPH MALE, DIRTY TALKING, SEXY AS H*** MEN!!! Ice is book 1 in this series and while it is a MC book the authors throw in so much more. There is danger, suspense and of course romance. The story flowed so well and it was so interesting that I could not put down. The main character and the side characters bring so much to the story that I found myself intrigued and captivated from start to finish. I enjoyed the MC theme but also I really loved the banter and chemistry between Brett and Morgan.

Ice is the President of the Regulators MC. He is raising his 16 year old daughter Brooke alone after losing his wife after giving birth. There is so much to Ice, since losing his wife. Keeping Brooke safe and guarded is his main focus. He leaves nothing to chance when it comes to her safety. Ice lives a hard life, such as his personality, he spends his days keeping up with Brooke and his nights running his club and his business. Ice also has no time nor wants a relationship; he just does casual sex. Brooke is constantly scheming and trying to break away from her father’s controlling thumb. With her side kick and BFF Madyson by her side, Ice is about to get his controlled world thrown into chaos.

Madyson’s sister, Morgan lives a perfect life, that is who her parents raised her, she is straight laced, a virgin and is never in trouble with the law. Morgan and her sisters have parents that only care about image and have no feelings or love for their children and throws a just turned 18 year old Madyson out of the house, with nowhere to go, Morgan lets her stay with her. Madyson being Brooke’s best friend and partner in all things scheming leads Ice straight to Morgan’s door.

“Clue in, sweets; girls at this age shouldn’t be out this late and certainly not dressed like a hooker. Know where your girl is. Take responsibility, for f**** sake. Bad things happen.

“Take responsibility? You don’t know me, mister, so don’t judge me.

Morgan and Ice do not hit it off. Partly because he is blatantly crass and rude, he makes an assumption on the type of person Morgan is without knowing her at all. He is constantly saying things that offend Morgan and she being the sweetest person is taken aback by this. Ice and his crew start to notice girls are being taking from off the streets and sold. They work together to bring down the people responsible. Things become personal for Ice when Morgan shows up at his business asking her friend for help in finding Madyson. Ice once again handles the situation poorly but when he realizes his mistake, he tries to correct it.

“It’s my fault. I was having a problem, and Casey is my friend. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have come here.

“D*** right you shouldn’t be here. I sell beautiful women, and tonight, you are far from beautiful.

“What are you looking for exactly, Morgan?

“An apology. Some respect. I need to find my sister, but I don’t need to feel like crap doing it. I won’t beg you.

“You’re cure, Morgan. Fine. I was wrong. I’m here to make it right and help you find Madyson. My word is solid, and I give you my word I will find your sister somehow, someway. Morgan, you get me-my help.

Madyson’s disappearance will bring Ice and Morgan closer together. Where Ice is hardened and closed off Morgan is caring, patient and kind. Their two worlds will collide and become one. Ice, while is a hard and tough character, he is hot, loyal and a man of his word. Morgan is a sweet girl but when it comes to Ice she is feisty and sassy when she becomes more comfortable in his presence. The chemistry between them is intense and hot, but their relationship is a slow build that transpires over a period of months. When Ice finally accepts what he is feeling for Morgan, he dives in and makes it clear to a somewhat naïve Morgan.

“Where do you come up with this stuff? Why would I think we were welcome to stay there?

“Why wouldn’t you be? Clue in, woman. It was my bed you were sleepin in before you went there, and it’ll be my bed you’re sleeping in when it’s all said and done. There’s no letting go between us, Morgan. Get that straight right now. I’m man enough to see something I want and not be afraid to go for it. You’re mine. Nope, keep your mouth shut till I’m done talkin. Like I said you’re mine. I want you. I’m gonna have you, and you’re d*** well gonna have me in every way that counts.

I really enjoyed the plot of the story and how well the all the pieces fit in this story. The authors added just the right elements. The story was quick, fun, suspenseful, sexy and had the right amount of angst. I was not able to put the book down. Will Ice and Morgan be able to find and keep their love even though they come from two different backgrounds? Will they find out what happened to Madyson and be able to rescue here? Well guess what, there is no CH in this book but this is a series. We will get another book but it will be about Hammer. I have marked that book as TBR and I have commenced the stalking of both authors

Not my cup of tea. I mean it was alright but too many incomplete sentences from Brett (aka-Ice). The whole alpha male doesn't mean he shouldn't be able make complete sentences or act like a gentleman from time to time. Morgan was alright, she really didn't give into him and I thought that was cool. She still stood her ground when needed.

Rating: NC-17 (course language, sexual content, drug use)
Language: use of deity, tons and tons of the f-bomb
Recommend: No

We met Ice in Stripping Her Defenses and I really liked his in that story and was excited to read his story. This was a nice story. The president has a 16 year old daughter. He is a single dad. The heroine Morgan, is watching her little sister. Her sister is best friends with Ice’s daughter. Ice is very protective of his daughter and checks everyone that is involved in her life. Ice has a lot of misconception about Morgan even though Morgan is straight-laced and follows the rules. My problem, when Ice realized that Morgan was just a good person and he started to become attracted to her, it was a little too late for me to feel the connection. I really liked Ice in STRIPPING HER DEFENSES, not sure how I felt about him in this book. I think it took me a long time to warm up to these characters. I felt like something was missing and days after finishing this story I still cannot put my finger on what it was. For a MC book this was not bad read, but I wish it was more memorable.
