A Condo with Two Views

Rate this book
Men and women see the world differently, as do dominants and submissives. A Condo With Two Views is told from two perspectives: Jack’s and Chloe’s. Jack is a loving and protective husband, but with a kinky penchant for sharing his willing wife. Chloe is smart and strikingly beautiful, and obeys every command from her husband, no matter how perverse. Each gives their view of the story: one where Chloe must submit to a grungy caretaker, a sexy lesbian couple, an evil developer, an older sadist, and the list goes on. But, what happens when she’s pushed too far? Is the deep love of a husband and wife more powerful than the bond of a dominant and submissive? What will win out, love or bdsm?

Bio:
I know I was born with D/s in my blood. It wasn’t nurture; it was nature embedded in my DNA since day one. During my formative years there was no internet (for the masses, anyway). I scoured magazines like Penthouse or Playboy, searching for any article I could find on BDSM. Later, I got my hands on ‘The Story of O, and a smattering of other kinky novels. I began to understand the difference between consensual and non-consensual, the eroticism of bondage and discipline, the necessity of limits and a safeword, etc. There’s a great quote from Paul Valery, “I write half the poem; the reader writes the other half. These early novels including the Beauty series by Anne Rice spurred my own imagination in ways that movies (such as 9 and a ½ Weeks) could not. Reading lets you add your own interpretive spin on the story or fantasy, imagining it your own unique way. Times have changed, and now there are hundreds of kinky novels out there and a great number of educational websites, etc. I hope my work moves others in the same way that previous BDSM books moved me.

Yours Truly- Al

★★★★! A Condo with Two Views (stand-alone). A candid look into marriage strengthened by BDSM (fore)play until one day when it’s all put to the test!

“The pain is physical, but the pleasure emotional.

A Condo with Two Views, written by a real-life Dom, gives a candid glimpse into a loving, consensual and healthy marriage between two professionals who engage in BDSM play.

“The worse thing a Dom could ever become is predictable. The occasional harsh session would go a long way to keeping our power exchange on edge. A true submissive craves a man with edge.

Marketing consultant, Dom and Sadist Jack Gibb aka Master and his new bi-sexual wife, paralegal, Submissive and Masochist Chloe are embarking on their life together by moving into their luxury condo with a view.

“We fell madly in love, all the while pushing the boundaries of Chloe’s sexuality. When a couple have undying trust, anything is possible.

After an extended vanilla period, they are both excited to get back into their games which consists of Jack issuing sexual challenges involving Chole being promiscuous with others, often in public places, under the pretense of cuckolding her hubby.

“And are you wet today?
“Like a faucet, she answered, “I’ve been wet and tingly all day.

Chloe is torn between wanting to please her Master for the reward of orgasms and love, but also wanting to defy him for punishment. Most of the time her competitive streak wins out and often she must be creative to overcome obstacles.

“Master was clearly determined to push my boundaries. I wanted to please him so badly. I suppressed my safeword. I wanted to be a good little subbie-wife for him.

A Condo with Two Views, told in dual POVs, follows Jack and Chloe for their unconventional foreplay culminating in explosive sex until one day everything is put to the test

“Tonight, I pushed Chloe’s boundaries, and the truth was I pushed my own boundaries.

I have never read a story quite like this; Rich on plot with plenty of sexual tension and steam yet much emphasis given to character development. It’s kinky, unpredictable, romantic, angsty and endearing. Two tangible, flawed, likeable & unique individuals with an avant-garde approach to a dynamic and happy marriage.

Dom husband bets his sub wife in a poker game and loses. Something he knew she would feel betrayed and pissed over. He makes her fuck the winner (who she dislikes). She thinks it’s just punishment delivered as one of their kinky sharing games and not because “he used her like an object and bet her body for sex against a condo in their über wealthy building. Her words. There’s not nearly enough plotting and on page grovel or discussion to justify her Stepford wife smile as she took him back as her Dom at he end. Seriously. They both think about the breach of trust and how golden trust is...and how veritably fucked it is now. Then nothing...and then they’re right back to kinky fuckery.

The author can’t have it both ways. This book was light and fluffy erotica with this major breach in trust of their D/s MARRIAGE just glossed the fuck over. It needed to be dealt with and not all but shuffled under the rug. Either write fluffy bunny D/s sharing games or write about the repercussions of a Dom breaking a hard limit of his WIFE sub and her being crushed. Then follow that up with their growth to regaining their kinky lifestyle, but don’t write fluff kink with major unresolved moral/trust issues. it turns it into mindless fucking...not erotica.

In the end this is badly written erotica...some great scenes that didn’t quite make it because of that.

I don't think Testing the Submissive was out longer than 5 minutes and Al Daltrey was already saying he wanted to write a BETTER book. Not because he, or anyone else for that matter, thought his first one wasn't good enough but because he wanted to improve to payback his fans. He wanted to show us that he can grow and challenge himself and create an even better experience.

You can't compare the two books, even though they are in the same genre, they are very, very different. While Testing the Submissive was deep in the realm of fiction taking the reader on a dark and cringe worthy ride, A Condo with Two Views is skimming along the surface of fiction for a fun, romantic and still quite serious peek into the life of a husband and wife as well as a Dom and sub.

I remember when Al first talked about the concept of this book. I immediately found it interesting and unlike anything I had ever read. Each chapter takes you into the minds of both the Dom, Jack and the sub, Chloe. You get to see what motivates them as well as how they feel about each other and those around them. With the setting in their condo high-rise you meet quite the cast of characters they choose to 'share' their life with.

Chloe is a tough as nails career woman that absolutely adores her husband and just happens to enjoy being a sub. She loves adventure and the idea of doing exactly what her Dom husband asks of her. I find it so refreshing that while Chloe may enjoy following his instructions in the framework of their D/s relationship, she sure as hell has no problem standing up for what she wants, needs in their marriage. A marriage they both consider the foundation of their relationship with the D/s being 'icing on the cake'.

Jack is a career man with a fun loving personality, that is, until he transitions into Dom mode. Immediately he's in control and Chloe is putty in his hands. He worships her in every way. I do mean EVERY HOT imaginable way. He's sexy as sin and oozes confidence as he guides her through their adventures. It's clear that he always has her best interest at heart, with only one exception. One lapse in judgment and his world can crumble. Is their marriage strong enough to survive? You will have to dive into this read to find out!

Too many books out there are depicting the sub as weak with no true voice in their 'relationship'. The Dom can do no wrong and as if somehow, with Dom in his title, he becomes a superior being.

As an avid reader of erotica and specifically erotica bdsm, I appreciate reading a book where the sub, Chloe, is strong and independent. She stands up for, not only what she wants, but what she deserves. The Dom, Jack, is human. He makes mistakes. Their relationship as Husband and Wife comes first. This mindset is a testament to their commitment to one another.

Al - I adore this book! I just want to say you succeeded. Not because this book is better than Testing, but because this book is different and they both can stand as 5 STAR reads in their own right. That to me is success. I can't wait to read what you have in store for us in the future. No doubt it will be yet another 5 STAR one-click!

Having read Testing the Submissive the debut novel from author Al Daltrey and loving it I was a bit gun shy when starting A Condo with Two Views because I did not think I could love a Daltrey novel as much as I did Testing. Well I was blown away!!

What Al Daltrey does with such ease and grace is draw you into the story from page one. You want to know the what, how and why and like any great author Al Daltrey weaves all the details into a raw, honest and at times painfully real story for the reader to consume chapter by chapter.

The characters of Jack and Chloe and their relationship as husband / wife and Dom / Sub were beautifully defined with detail and style. You get the feeling that you “know them and what I found the most remarkable about the couple was the total, brutal honesty they live by. But like every great relationship there are conflicts and trials they must work through. When Jack and Chloe’s arrangement is “tested you begin to see the real fabric of their relationship. One decision, one lapse in judgment threatens to end everything.

Al Daltrey writes the Dom (male) and Sub (female) POV extremely well, the POV’s were clearly defined and I loved seeing the same situation from both sides. Each chapter and POV showed that even though a couple may appear to be on the same page and come to the same end result, the intentions for making the decision are totally unique. Al Daltrey writes conflict, struggle, miscommunication, passion, true love and of course mind blowing sex with the same passion that his characters bring to the story.

Loved this book, it was so much more than I expected and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a passionate, honest read. Great work as always by an extremely talented author!

I adore the play on words that this title conveys. Well done Mr. Daltrey.

Every once in a while a book comes along that causes you to take a step back and take a breath. A Condo with Two Views by Al Daltrey was just one of those books for me. My genre of choice has never been a secret and I started out reading and reviewing books others weren't always comfortable discussing. I've read more than my fair share of BDSM and while this genre and this lifestyle are not for everyone, there is a beautiful simplicity in this type of relationship in my opinion. The trust required between the people who agree to partake is what has drawn me to this subject matter. The trust needed is beauty in it's purest form.

The trust is exactly what Mr. Daltrey manages to convey in his writing, and convey it he does. He weaves an amazing and vivid tapestry of love with a spectacular side of kink. This is the first book I've read by this author and I will go on record saying I will now go back and read his other works. This novel was so much more than I expected. The story of Jack and Chloe Gibb's will draw you in and keep you captivated until the very last scene. Not only do we have the pleasure of watching two impeccably laid out characters unfold, but we are privy to the inner workings of a functioning D/s relationship, a wonderfully written account from two consenting adults in dual POV. This author has a wonderful grasp not only on the storytelling but the written word as well. I for one, hope to have my boundaries pushed.

I've got my safe word...

I think what people should get from this book is that all relationships are different and what works for some, doesn’t necessarily work for others.

Jack and Chloe were husband and wife but also Dominant and submissive. I found it interesting how they defined the two quite separate roles. Jack used his Dom voice and that put Chloe into her submissive role.

Trust is a huge issue within any D/s relationship and when Jack betrayed the trust, I think Chloe let him off the hook too easily. I did feel like Jack used his dominance as a badge and used Chloe as his possession to be traded. They didn’t “live the D/s roles constantly, it was clearly said that Jack used his Dom voice to indicate play, so when he was playing cards he would have been in Jack mode not Dom mode therefore it was actually his wife he was trading rather than his submissive as part of play. I felt that this not only let himself down as a husband but totally disrespected his wife.

For anyone not familiar with a D/s role within a marriage, I would like to say that there’s no such thing as a typical way of going about this. Some couples have a sign to indicate they are slipping into the D/s role and others are not playing a role, they are the Dominant and submissive all the time. That’s the thing about relationships and the whole BDSM life, are you playing D/s or are you living the life?

This book is told in dial POV.you know what Jack wants and then you read how it’s executed by Chloe. Some of it is repetitive as you are getting both sides of the same story.

I did feel that there wasn’t much emotion between the couple. I didn’t feel the love between husband and wife or the bond between Dominant and submissive. Yes Chloe did what her Dom wanted but to me it was very mechanical. It’s a shame the author couldn’t have woven the emotions into the story more.

I would imagine people who don’t understand the dynamics of a D/s relationship would have a WTF kind of response to many, if not all, of the tasks Jack set Chloe. What I would say is a BDSM relationship is consensual and every relationship is different but everything that happens is consensual and the submissive always has the ultimate power to say no. Personally, I don’t like to share!

Al Daltrey does know his stuff though, I can’t fault the style of writing, or the prose. This is obviously a relationship he knows rather than researched.

Reviewed by Tracey Lou Parker for Kindle Friends Forever.

I've given this book a five star rating. If I could have given it more, I surely would have. A Condo With Two Views is my first encounter with the writings of Al Daltrey. And oh my goodness, what a pleasure it was. So how did this book get its title? Let me explain!

This book revolves around two protagonists, Chloe and Jack Gibbs. They have just married and have moved into their new home. A condo that has two spectacular views. The living room faces north with a view of the water and Alcatraz. The view that faces south was a busy area of shops and restaurants. I also had the feeling that the title includes the layout of this book which gives you two views. Jack’s POV and Chloe’s POV. I absolutely loved the idea of hearing both points of view as I’ve not read many that have done this. It certainly made for an interesting read.

Jack and Chloe have a Dom / Sub relationship and as a married couple, slipped in and out of their roles quite easily. A couple that genuinely loved each other and would do anything for each other. At the sound of Jack’s Dom voice Chloe would automatically go into sub mode. Head down, yes master. It was like he had flipped a switch that was so easily done. The trust she places in him has no boundaries or limits. Everything that was asked of her, she would do. Pleasing her husband is what she lived for. As a Dom, he seemed to set her quite a few challenges. These challenges excited them both. Each chapter of this book gave you a completely new scenario to follow. And a new challenge was always set.

With having both point of views, I was able to delve into the depths of Chloe's mind and literally see and hear how she would go about the challenges set by her Dom. Her determination to succeed was second to none. If she was at all unable to fulfil the challenges set before her, Chloe would not be happy. And not succeeding was not an option. The challenges normally consisted of her serving others in a sexual manner.
Their sexual relationship was loving as a married couple. As a Master and his pet, the pain he inflicted on her was quite an eye-opener. I began to wonder just how much pain Chloe could endure, but a true submissive doesn't appreciate softness in her dominant. And the pain was a complete turn on for Chloe. The use of a flogger, a riding crop and a cane held me in awe. What a trooper Chloe was. The pain must have been excruciating. She loved it!

For this couple, pain brings pleasure, pleasure brings pain. All I say is thank god for subspace! A spacey serene feeling which is less bothered by pain. Yes, I did some research on this subject! One of the last challenges set by Jack was a step too far for Chloe. As the perfect submissive, she was to serve a business associate of Jack’s that she disliked. For her master, she would do this. After the deed was done, Chloe found out that the reason she was to serve Jack’s associate was because Jack had lost a card game and Chloe was the prize. She was heartbroken and so was I. I felt for her. This was a man she loved and served and as her Dom, it was his job to care for her... In her eyes and my eyes he had failed her!

How the story ends I will leave to you the reader to find out. I can't give it all away. Whilst reading this book, my mind was full of questions. Would I enter into a contract with a Dom. Would I be able to be a sub? Would I be able to do everything that was asked of me like Chloe? I mean, she did everything! My answer...

Doms challenge their subs. Is it their way of seeing how far they can push them? How far they would go? It seems to me all the way. I have no qualms with the BDSM lifestyle. Whatever makes you happy. Chloe and Jack were very much in love and happy.

Al Daltrey. I bow to you sir. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your book. You're writing is impeccable. Grammar was perfect and the words just flowed fluently throughout. The safe word you used for Chloe did make me smile and giggle, ha ha. I feel Mrs D's input was invaluable. Thank you Mrs D! More importantly, thank you Al for writing this book. The pleasure this time was all mine.

Before I get to into my review, I thought I might want to mention how amazingly HOT this book really is, because it is SMOKIN HOT! These two ooze sex appeal and love them some kinky sex. I just felt this book deserved a review about the loving husband and wife side of the story that will probably be skimmed over by many.

For those of you who follow my reviews you will notice this is my first review on a BDSM book. Normally this really isn’t my cup of tea. With that being said, I am grateful that Tiff asked me to give this book a go. I absolutely loved every aspect about the book even if I did not agree with some of the situations myself. The situations may have not been my thing, however Al Daltrey wrote them in such a way I could understand them.

Let me tell you why, Author Al Daltrey wrote this book from the husband/Dom and the wife/Subs point of views. We get to see how both of them see the situations unfold. I loved seeing this book through both Jack and Chloe’s eyes. Sometimes I did not agree with what Jack was doing or asked of Chloe. But once I read it through her eyes, I completely understood what he was doing.

The few BDSM books I have read I never get to see this side of a Dom. To me they come off a power hungry alpha’s that are one-dimensional. This is not Jack at all. Jack explains what he is going to do each time. He always asked Chloe if she is okay and understood what they were about to partake in and what her safe word was. He wanted her to do everything he wanted. What man/Dom doesn’t?

I think my absolute favorite thing about Jack was that even though he was a Dom we get to see how much he loved and wanted to take care of Chloe after each of her missions he sent her on or the fun he had in store for her at home. He is a very loving man who can even own up to his mistakes.

I loved how Jack could always see in Chloe’s eyes if she was contemplating if she could handle the what he asked of her, if it excited her, or even happened scared her. He pushed her limits only knowing she would be okay with them. Jack knew Chloe inside and out.

The love Chloe had for Jack is one every person hopes to find in his or her other half. She wanted to make her husband/Dom a very happy man. Chloe feels she is the luckiest woman on the earth that Jack chose her. It is just icing on the cake that Jack is just as kinky has she is. In Chloe’s eyes, she feels Jack completes her. She knows that Jack would never hurt her or push her too far. Jack excites Chloe in ways she never could have dreamed of. Most people would not understand Chloe’s submissive side like Jack does.

I think my favorite part of the book was when Jack made a mistake and Chloe handed him his ass. She knew that before anything else being husband and wife came first. Jack did something that she never thought he would do and it wrecked her. Watching them repair their relationship is what made me fall in love with them. He was humbled and in awe of his amazing wife and knew he had made a mistake. She was his world as much as he was hers.

I cannot wait to read Al Daltrey’s other book and will most definitely read anything else he writes in the future. I am hoping that maybe in the future we get to see Jack and Chloe again. A girl can hope right?

Sometimes you need a book that isn’t full of the classic battle between good and evil. There are no nefarious bad guys. No knights in shining armor. No insane drama that wrenches emotions from you with or without your permission. Sometimes you need a book that gives you an inside view on incredible people, just living their lives, figuring it out as they go. Sometimes you want to peep through the keyhole into someone else’s life and just see how they live for a while.

A Condo with Two Views is exactly that opportunity to peek into someone else’s life and be the proverbial fly on the wall as they go about their daily life. With one little unexpected surprise Jack and Chloe Gibb are a BDSM couple living completely normal, every day lives most of the time. But this story gives readers an inside view into what that really looks like - what does a newly married couple who participate in some of the more kinky aspects of the BDSM lifestyle do everyday?

Jack Gibb is a successful businessman. He works hard and he loves his wife all the way to his bones. He is also her Master and occasionally lends her out to fulfill sexual tasks as he sees fit. He is strong, kind, tender and unyielding in his expectations. He is also human and we get to see how that humanity serves as both the strongest and weakest pieces of his Dominance.

Chloe Gibb is a strong, independent, smart and witty woman. She too works hard and loves her husband down to her bones. She is also a submissive and an eager one at that. She places herself completely in the hands of her Master and the level of trust she displays is absolutely gorgeous to watch. Her incredible inner strength is also amazing to witness.

These two characters are a match made in heaven. They compliment each other beautifully in so many ways. The way that Jack takes Chloe’s submission and channels it into tasks that please them both is both ingenious and very fun to read. The genuine love between them serves to deepen not only the meaning behind every task and interaction, but also the reader’s investment in the characters and story.

A Condo With Two Views is not only an honest love story between two people living their lives, but it’s also a truly authentic view into the BDSM lifestyle. When there are so many books written these days that incorporate elements of the lifestyle into their storylines, it’s absolutely refreshing to read one that gives such an authentic and loving portrayal of its possibilities.

This book is well written and chock full of truly interesting characters doing fun, sexy, hot as hell things with each other. Daltrey has written a book that is not only fun to read, it’s intelligent, interesting, creative and truly allows the reader insight into the characters by telling the story from both Jack and Chloe’s perspectives. The dual story is never repetitive, but instead just gives fantastic insight into the characters and how the story unfolds.

If you’re looking for a truly authentic, fun to read story, this book is it. Give yourself permission to peek into Jack and Chloe’s life, I guarantee you won’t regret it and they love being watched.

After reading Al Daltrey's first book Testing The Submissive I said, that book needed to come with a warning. The warning being, it will change your mind how you think about the BDSM world. Discovering Al's writing has been nothing short of a "wake up call' for all of us erotica readers. DIFFERENT from anything you've read before. So as I started reading A Condo With Two Views I thought I was mentally prepared for another Al Daltrey book. Well once again I have been thrown for a loop. This book takes the reader into a completely different direction. Testing The Submissive was the epitome of reading about the BDSM world. A Condo With Two Views takes us through what it would realistically be like sharing a Dom/Sub life as a married couple. Al does a great job taking the reader through this journey with his exceptional writing skills, painting a picture for us to see into the day in and day out life of this couple. It's funny, actually hilarious at times, a sweet love story and a really great read. Oh, don't get me wrong it still has the hard limits and pushes the envelope on Dom/Sub life. But if your looking to read a realistic POV about the life of a married Dom/Sub couple this is it. Just remember, Al doesn't sugar coat anything.

The two POV style is a refreshing and very unique way to tell Jack and Chloe's story. But for me, I loved Chloe's POV the best. Jack is Jack. He loves Chloe with all his heart but he is a true Dom and when he is in Dom mode, look out. He pushes Chloe, pushes her to where you question, how does she do these things? She does them because she loves him as her husband first and foremost but also loves and craves him as her Dom. But don't think for one minute that Chloe is not a strong woman with her own mind and a truly equal kinky side just like Jack.

Can the two worlds really exist and work together? Will Jack be able to protect Chloe and remember she is his wife and not just his submissive. Or will he forget the most important role in his life and mess everything up. I would never spoil that for you the reader, so you will need to one click this one to find out.

I will promise you this story will have you thinking and questioning all the thoughts that will fill your mind wondering, do I really want and could I handle a Dom/Sub relationship? Once again Al Daltrey takes us on a wonderful ride with A Condo With Two Views. A ride you don't want to miss!

Two words: Panty. Melter.

For whatever reason, I have never read erotica written by a man. But, this book had so many positive reviews, and there was such a buzz in the reading circles to which I belong, I wanted to give Al Daltrey a shot. Great decision!

I am deeply intrigued by the BDSM lifestyle, but am primarily familiar with its practice through the books I read. I felt like I gained a better understanding of, not only the lifestyle throughout the book, but more than that, the dichotomy of the relationship between Dom and sub. The characters, Jack and Chloe, are immediately likable, and their story is not only plausible, but relatable. As the author takes you through the early stages of their marriage you quickly become invested in their lives and even those of the secondary characters like Lexi.

Books featuring a dual POV often annoy me because I hate feeling like I'm reading the same thing twice. In this case, however, I loved seeing Jack and Chloe's life and various events through both their eyes, as well as from their roles as husband/wife and D/s.

Furthermore, the scenes were HOT! Many times I'll spend my lunch break reading at my desk, but I had to put A Condo down and read something a little less steamy while at work. Nothing like explaining to your boss why your face is flushed and you're crushing your legs together... Off to read Testing the Submissive (after I get home from work!)!

Since I am a blogger I haven't had much time to read books that have been on my TBR list on my Kindle. But, I decided I needed some ME time and read a book that has been on my list. A Condo with Two Views is a book that I chose to read and I am so glad I did!

I really enjoyed reading this book by Al Daltrey! And, he wrote a book that is based in an area where I live near to... San Francisco. I always enjoy reading of places that I have either been to or have lived in. I kept imagining where this Condo was and whether it is a real place or not. I love the area and how beautiful the area is that this Condo is supposed to be in near Ghirardelli Square. So maybe I am a little partial to this book.

Now on to my review! Wow what a story! I love that this story is told with: Two perspectives: Jack's and Chloe's. That it is a story of sharing! At least Jack share's Chloe and that even as a Dom that mistakes can happen. And, forgiveness happens as well. I can't share more because I don't do spoilers but, I loved this book and very much look forward to more from Al Daltrey. I give this story 4.5 OOOOo's (O's for Orgasms) because this story is definitely HOT!

I bought this book. No ARC was received! <3 I can't wait to read more of what Al Daltrey writes!

I was given an ARC copy of "A Condo With Two Views" by Al Daltrey for my honest opinion. I was so excited when I was asked to read this book because after I read "Testing The Submissive", I would love anything Al Daltrey wrote. I actually have been counting the days down for Al Daltrey's next book release. I have never read a book that has such great point of views of both sides. The chemistry between Jack and Chloe is beyond hot. In this read, you will see how a relationship as man and wife in a BDSM dynamic can work and how when giving yourself to someone completely can satisfy them beyond all means.
The way Al Daltrey writes, you will feel each of their emotions. Whether it's ecstatic, upset or aroused, the passion shared between these two characters will keep you coming back for more.

I didn't want to put the book down. I have and will continue to tell people about this wonderful written book.

I was given A Condo with Two Views by Al Daltrey for my honest opinion. To be honest a 5 star just isn't enough. This was such an exciting book to read. Al Daltrey once again went over any expatiations I had on this book. The way he did the Point Of View on both parties was unbelievable. He brought you into the story from the get go. I felt every emotion from being aroused to getting angry that Jack and Chloe felt. This will be a book I will read over and over again.

This book was unique and very well written. I don't know if I've read anything like it, which is another reason I liked it! Mr. Daltrey did an outstanding job with his second book, looking forward to more from him.

Forget fifty shades this book is worth reading. Jack and Chloe story is a roller coaster ride with BDSM lifestyle. It has both POV of the main characters. Al daltrey knows how to write a complicated relationship.

If you want it hard core with plot - AL is your go to guy! And... isn't that the thing about dominate men - they know exactly what our dirty little minds are really like...
I found this story totally different than "Testing the Submissive" which I loved for its rawness, honesty , fresh writing and twisted plot details.

"A Condo with Two Views" is a telling play on words about the story. Its a story of a D/s couple's adventure they take in their high rise home. I love hearing it all from the Male POV - and its a treat to get both sides on this subject matter - one I have questions about constantly while reading! Who? How? why?? So, I love that lots of those get answered with both POV's presented. Its a hard core delve into a couple's BDSM game that involves the sub's little quests for the pleasure of her Dom. Inventive story.

Al Daltry is bringing us front and center into a lifestyle many of us question, ooooooo, and ahhhhh over, its very nice, very reassuring, to hear Al say even these stories are the "Fantasy Side" of the lifestyle, tho. Stories, I'm sure, that are sending even the hardest Dom throbbing into his playroom - fumbling about for his - flogger, ehh? Stories that get even the naughtiest Sub panting for more at her Dom's feet.

As much as I enjoy these...I'd love to hear more of this real life Dom's real stories. That would be super sexy for us Vanilla-ish readers - Al would kill it on a "Gateway read" into BDSM D/s real lifestyle. Show us how to find or cultivate that dominate man, one that doesn't share or pimp out HIS sub.

4.5 Stars!
Let me start by saying this was my first book by Al. Warning before you start this book it isn’t for everyone but it is HOT HOT HOT. Honestly I just jumped right into this book without thinking too much into it and I got the ride of a life time. Jack and Chloe are both great characters that needed each other in more ways than one. I liked the relationship between these two characters. Even though they were Dom and sub, the love between husband and wife was just as strong. It is so hard to put this book into words without giving too much away. Jack tests Chloe several times throughout the book but Chloe loves it every time he does. Some scenes in this book literally had me fanning myself because they are HOT. So be prepared for some fantastic sex scenes like any other I have read before. Several times in the book when Jack would switch to Dom mode and command Chloe to complete a task and my mouth was hanging open. And to top it off she did it every single time not questions asked. Of course there is one time that he pushes her too far but their love is strong enough to help them overcome it. This was a good book and I look forward to more from this author.

Just like me to be the odd duck. While it seems everyone else read, "Testing the Submissive" before reading this little gem....I did not. As matter of fact, this is the only book I've read by this author. But know....it wont be the last. I really enjoyed this book. Even tho they are married & are able to turn on & off the dom/sub....they never really turn off husband/wife. Their relationship is not what a lot of people would consider "normal"....but it is with them. They are both strong & very much in love. They care deeply for each other. And even tho mistakes were made....they are human. I saw so much love & patience on every page with this couple. Its not my ideal marriage (the sharing).....but reading it was hot, hot, hot! More of Mr. Daltrey's books will be added to my shelf.

This is a perfect love story with a very erotic edge. For those of you with a kinky appetite this book is for you! You won't be disappointed. Looking forward to reading Al Daltrey's next book!

A Condo with Two Views is a story about love, marriage, dominance and submission. Jack is a sexy and successful man who is completely in love with his wife. He also is her dominant and has a fondness for sharing her. Chloe is a strong woman who absolutely adores her husband. She is also his submissive and hands her trust and desires over to her husband. This book takes us through both Jack and Chloe’s view as they navigate their new life as husband and wife, as well as master and submissive. Jack pushes Chloe too far with one of his requests. Will their love be strong enough to overcome all situations Jack dictates of Chloe? Will Chloe lose her trust in her husband and master?

First I will say that this book contains strong BDSM themes. If that does not appeal to you then you may not want to read this book. The author mentions this in his warning and I would suggest heeding that warning. With that being said, I love reading books about BDSM. The relationship dynamic between a dominant and their submissive always fascinates me. This story was no different. I was curious to see how Jack and Chloe would navigate through life as a newly married couple, as well as continue their dominant and submissive relationship. At times I was a bit taken aback by some of the tasks that Jack set forth for Chloe but then I would see the love and devotion these two individuals had for one another and it made it easier to get through. It was part of their relationship and it worked for them. Jack enjoyed challenging Chloe and Chloe relished making her dominant proud.

Al Daltrey did not disappoint with this book. I saw growth in his writing from the first book I read of his. He is a very detailed writer and is able to paint a vivid picture with his words. I felt like I was with Chloe and Jack as they navigated through different scenarios and adventures. I really appreciated the two different views throughout the book. This was a very unique way to tell the story. Both individuals were part of the same scene; however the descriptions of what occurred were varied. I felt this method of storytelling was creative and almost made it seem like you were getting two books in one. The sexual scenes throughout were fantastic and hot!!! The love these two shared is something to be envious of. My only criticism was that it ended. I wanted more from Jack and Chloe and can only hope we might see more of these two in the future.

I give this book 4 ½ stars!!

This was my first read by Al Daltrey and I definitely enjoyed it. Although their marriage is one that is definitely outside of my comfort zone, it was very sexy to see a couple so at ease with each other and their kinks. Every possible kind of BDSM you could think of was used in this book and I really enjoyed the variety. One of my favorite assignments was when Chloe had to "seduce" the two men that owned the sex toy business. There were times I had difficulty getting over the fact that Chloe had to be so secretive and had to lie to all her assignments in order to complete them but putting that aside, each encounter was very hot.

My only real objection to this story was how quickly Chloe jumped back into bed with her husband after the awful lack of respect and honesty he showed her. I didn't feel like he truly learned his lesson or actually really needed to. It seemed like he just had to wait out Chloe's anger so things could go back to normal. I just would've preferred something that affected Chloe so harshly to be dealt with in a more serious manner. That's just my opinion though.

All in all this was a well written story and I will definitely be reading more by Daltrey, he definitely knows how set up scene, so to speak.

et me start off by saying, Whoa. A Condo with Two Views by Al Daltrey is another wonderfully unique and well written story. Jack and Chloe are more than just husband and wife, they are dominant and submissive as well. Jack likes to share Chloe and throughout the book she takes part in some of the most erotic scenes you'll read in a book. While it may not be considered a normal or traditional situation with their relationship, the way these two characters fit and trust each other moves past that and makes this a fantastic read.

Again, Al Daltrey wrote another story that really is in it's own niche, similar to his first book, Testing the Submissive. I blushed a few times reading it and l couldn't get enough of it. I think what Al Daltrey does best is create a story that pushes the envelope and leaves you blown away by what you read. What I loved about A Condo with Two Views, is that it isn't just a BDSM tale, it's a story of a loving couple who trust each other completely. If you haven't read anything from Al Daltrey, A Condo with Two Views is a great place to start.

My first book from this. Author but I so couldn't resist
I love a story about already married couples but throw in a D/S relationship to boot and yep you have my full attention.
It was extremely well written, powerful in places and it was intriguing to to see the dynamic between both Jack & Chloe and how their D/S relationship worked on day to day level and bravo it was extremely entertaining to read.
It was very hot...scorching in fact with some amazing scenes and some great sub characters.
Now the only thing for me is I like a person to suffer greatly when quite frankly they completely F..k up and he did...and could I have forgiven like that...no way no how lol....but then I am a bitch!
Despite this for me I still really loved the book and will be following and reading more for sure!

Al Daltry rocked this take on the BDSM relationship. Told in alternating POV's of Chloe and Jack, a married couple but also a Master/sub couple as well. We see the view of each person on the same scene. This is done beautifully in that it just a switch of views but also an interesting look into the mindset of each person.

We get taken through there sexual and normal life and see what each sees in each particular setting.

The sex scenes and BDSM scenes are hot steamy and raunchy and we get to see and feel what both sides are feeling.

I highly recommend this book to ALL lovers of the BDSM genre.

This is the first Al Daltrey book I've read. The story is about a newly married couple who are into BDSM. The book is written in the couple's dual POVs which I normally am not that keen hence I never even bothered to read Grey. I have read some books written in a similar style and found it quite repetitive but somehow this book worked for me. I find it fascinating this BDSM lifestyle though I can say it's not for me (for one I have a low threshold for pain haha!) but this book explains it very well and gives the reader a more thorough insight on the dom/sub relationship. I am very impressed, Al Daltrey you've gained another fan. Off to add your new book to my TBR list now.

Another amazing work by Mr. Daltrey. A Condo With Two Views is told from two perspectives. One side of the story is told by the lovely submissive Chloe, and the other by her husband and Dom, Jack. The story traces their lives as newly weds and their BDSM lifestyle. As always, Mr. Daltrey writes a story that is both raw and passionate. I love his writing style and the way he seems to know how to push the reader to their limits, and then make the story seem so beautiful.
