I've been writing romance fiction since 2006 and have published 20 books. I write time travel romances, contemporary romances, romantic suspense, and light paranormal romances (lovelorn ghosty stuff).
A gypsy at heart, I've lived in Aruba, Venezuela, Arizona and California (thanks to my parents, and in Guam, Wyoming, Washington State, Belgium, Washington D.C., Maryland, Montana, Turkey and Alaska (thanks to my time in the U.S. Air Force. Since then, I've lived in Idaho, Nebraska and Alabama in addition to visiting many more countries and states, and I'm determined to Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ friend everyone from all those places plus many more!
This was a fun book. I loved the characters. Poor Sara had every possible mishap. I wasn't a fan of Emily at all or Mrs. Feeney. I did miss the familiar characters from the previous books. This is the only one that previous characters weren't a part of. She didn't have the benefit of talking to the other women that experienced time travel. Overall a great book in a great series.
I loved this book!! I couldn't go to bed until I finished it!! I loved the characters, the settings, the clothing, and learning about the customs from back in the 1900's. Getting on a train in 2013 and waking up in 1900 had to be pretty stressful for Sara Reed. Luckily, she found Nathan Webster~~ or did he find her?? He was the perfect gentleman & helped her as much as he could~~ he didn't know her true story until towards the end of the book. I certainly hope that Ms McBride will be writing more of these time travel romances!!
A Fall In Time seemed to be full of a lot more action than the others in this series. Sara and Matthew meet on the train. She is in trouble and he takes it upon himself to care for her. They have many "adventures"Ìý before they finally realize they have fallen in love. I loved it!
I loved every book in this series. Each one was so wonderful and written so very well. I have to say Bess McBride is a new favorite author of mine....Stormi
This was different than the previous books, as was book 4. It is nice that although it always has a happy ending the struggles make things a little more realistic. I have enjoyed all the books in the series so far and am looking forward to reading more. I like how each has their own personality and storyline. This time we definitely saw a different side to life in 1900 and there were characters I liked to dislike for once!
I really enjoyed reading this book and the other's in this series. The idea of travel in in time to find love is wonderful. The heroine is extremely brave and so is her hero.
I just can't get enough of the Train Through times series. They are so full of suspense, fun, excitement and romance. This was a lovely story that had lots of twists and turns. Every time I thought one thing was going to happen the story went a better way. I hate that it's over, but so happy with the ending. I look forward to reading more of Bess McBrides books. Love the way she tells a story.
I enjoyed this book, but was somewhat disappointed that the characters and places were not more fleshed out. As an avid train traveler over the last 50+ years, I felt more attention could have been paid to the sights, sounds & smells of the train & the country visited.
You did it again Bess. Swept me away to a simpler time and place where everything resonates with charm and grace. Thank you and keep writing these beautiful stories. If you readers want to be swept away I highly recommend this book.
Each story in this series is as good as the one before. The trials and tribulations of the characters are not only believable but wholly entertaining. The story line is great. Makes me wish time travel was real. If only.
I would recommend whole series this book is in. All have been entertaining g and fast reads. Really like the humor of mixed centuries interaction. 5 star
