OMG!!!!! WOW! What an amazing book!!! :D Vampires, werewolves & magic! Yes, please!! J I absolutely loved this book! This story was way more than I expected.

loved Fallon’s character. She’s smart and talented, powerful and resourceful and loyal to her friends. Brody is caring, protective, strong and powerful but not as skilled as Fallon. The supporting characters also were interesting and I really am looking forward to reading more about them in the next book.

I loved the storyline and the world the author has created. It was smooth, vibrant and well-balanced. I cannot wait for the next instalment. I definitely recommend this novel! It’s really one of those that you could barely put down!

I received this as an arc for an honest review:

Let me just start by saying this world is amazing! It is vivid and intense and completely engrossing!

Fallon is a woman you don't really know how to take at first. She is crazy gifted with abilities that are so far out there that for a moment I had to think about what it was she was actually capable of. It was the only way I could wrap my brain around her gifts. And even then, I'm not sure I was entirely successful. She really is that much of a badass!

Like every woman on the planet, Fallon has had more than her fair share of men who just were the wrong choice. And in a world where she is a powerful druid and surrounded by other really awesome powerful creatures, it makes sense that she is known for dating werepanthers and werewolves. A woman who has piercings and tattoos is bound to attract bad boys for the most part, so it kind of goes without saying that things sometimes go bad.

But in walks Brody. Brody is so not a bad boy. Although being a werewolf is rather unique, he is a pretty normal, sweet and even gentle guy. A man who has recently felt pain in losing his wife, he has an amazing ability to look towards the future and be open minded enough to fall for Fallon. Brody is charming and when he first meets Fallon he is instantly drawn to her, although after someone saves you I imagine that is a normal response. Brody is a wonderful hero in this love story. But make no mistakes, Fallon is the alpha here. But in the bedroom, these two light up and lead each other to places that are ridiculously hot!

The cast of characters surrounding Fallon and Brody are amazing as well. Faes, Were-creatures, Vampires, Druids, Witches Oh My! Everyone works well if not always happily together. Everyone having their own gifts made this story a ton of fun to read. I love paranormal romances, but ones that have a true heart behind them enchant me. And this one has heart. It takes you to family, not just community. You learn to feel love and respect for all the different characters. And even the ones that get on your nerves, Dacia, you feel something for.

Characters in this book find a way to redeem themselves and bring out the best in each other, even if it is accidentally. That being said, the bad characters in the book are just as much fun to read about. Issac and Malachi are interesting and make you want to know more about them. A lot of times a bad character is used to kind of annoy people and make the hero and heroine look better, and although Issac and Malachi do that, they also make you want to dive into what makes them tick. I CARED about the antagonists in the book. What was the last book you could say that about? For me, I can't recall one.

The world is beautiful. It is vibrant and in the descriptions that Ms. Rivers gives, I feel like I am there. I can clearly make out the backdrop and I can clearly see the characters and how they are made up. I found that world completely fascinating. I felt connected not only to the characters, but Edenton as well. I could see the tattoo shop clear as day in my head. I could see In 2 Deep just as clearly. And I loved that!

There are a few things I found I didn't really care for. I felt like poor Fallon couldn't catch a break for a while & Dacia for a long time made me want to kill her, bring her ass back, and kill her again. But this is just me nitpicking honestly. This is a book I highly recommend you read, especially if you love paranormal stories!

I give this 4.5 lipsticks! Go get this book!!!!!

Favorite Line “She felt so light, and so his. Not in a restricting, confining way, but like they belonged together, a part of each other. She didn’t care how cheesy it sounded.

What a fabulous story that is different from your normal paranormal read. It has the sexy wolves I love so much but, it also has so awesome other characters like a ax wielding fae, a tattoo artist who can put wards in the tattoos she can also shape shift any to anything, and throw spells like nothing I've ever read about. Did I mention she's a Druid!it also has a empath and I guess you would call her the nosy friend who can also see the future.
Fallon, I believe she is my new favorite heroine! Man she's amazing! Thanks to a wolf literally crashing into her and her best friend Jess (nosy friend) her life is about to change! Of course with any kind of changes there will also be dangers and love!
What a great read that was something I've never read before!

Was wanting to take a break from my typical contemporary romance and dabble back into paranormal and was given the opportunity to review this book for B.L. Rivers. The story is posted as her first novel so I really was not expecting much but WOW... this story was way more that I expected.

Having a long history with paranormal reads I always figured that the first book in a series normally deals with a lot of historical narrative and world building, descriptive mumbo jumbo but this one just gets right to it with the action, suspense and thrill. It immediately grabs you in and you're unable to stop until you're completely done.

I loved the kickass female lead, Fallon. She's smart and talented, beautiful but not egotistically so, she's powerful and resourceful and also loyal to her friends. Her counterpart, Brody is caring and protective, strong and powerful but not as skilled as Fallon yet this doesn't bother him one bit. Most men would feel emasculated but he accepted her skills . And Their skills combined together was just a force to reckon with.

"Since the night you saved my ass, I've been falling. Being with you just feels natural. When you aren't with me, I feel emptier. Trust me...."

I loved the story was well. It was smooth and well-balanced. It wasn't saturated with passion and sex nor was it overly detailed with the action sequences or paranormal narrative. There were also some components - weapons and abilities and such that took me by surprise. I was truly impressed by the authors imagination. The supporting characters also were interesting and I really am looking forward to reading more about them in the next book.

I recommend this one for those looking for something more in the indie paranormal genre or perhaps like me - looking for something out of your typical contemporary romance . Just be sure that you allotted enough time to finish this one in one sitting because this is really one of those that you could barely put down!

Book Casting:

My pick for Dina Meyer as Fallon.

And Jake Pavelka as Brody.

I received this book from the author in exchange for a review!

***Warning- this book is sexually explicit! Not suitable for children***

This book was amazing I fell in love with the characters the minute I started reading! Fallon is one of the best female protagonists that I have read in recent years! She kicks a$$ and takes names and is fiercely independent. She has a violent and disturbing past and is reluctant to get involved with the opposite sex ever again! Brody is a sexy werewolf that is immediately attracted to Fallon and wants nothing more than to love her and protect her! He also has had a trying past, personal loss send him into half of a life and when he meets Fallon she re awakens him! The two together are just incredibly sexy and are HOT HOT HOT as soon as they give into their desires. Brody knows they are meant for each other, but Fallon has to get over her past to live with her present and future!

I have always felt that a villain needed to be evil clean through! As a reader I want to despise them right along with the main characters! Ms Rivers accomplishes that beautifully! The main villains are just so twisted and warped that I was right along with Fallon and Brody when they were trying to rip their throats out! Isaac is Fallon's weretiger ex boyfriend who is extremely unhinged in more ways than one. He will do absolutely anything to get Fallon back. Another villain in the book is Malachi, he is the worst kind of vampire out there and he is seriously twisted in the head! He wants revenge on Fallon for their last meeting and Fallon is determined that he will not survive their next encounter. The antagonists in this book are just superb. I loved to hate them right from the start!

I really have no criticism for this book, it's incredible! I cannot wait for the next book in the series! If you like paranormal books then you will love this novel! It's got everything a great book needs!

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading In Too Deep. Druids, Shifters, Shadowwalkers, and ink - what more could a girl ask for? This was a truly intriguing tale, and I just loved the story that Brand weaved. Fallon is a kickass, tattooed Druid, Brody is a heartbroken were who lost his wife. They come together in a twist of fate that leads to more. Fallon is a true fighter, even if something is good for her, she'll still fight it. She doesn't belive in fate, but some things you just can't control. I can't wait to see Jess and Slater's story when it comes out! This story is rockin! Lots of action, magic, shifters and ink. Great story line that just pulls you in and doesn't let go. It's a fantastic ride for the reader, and Brandy Rivers just plain delivers! I can't wait to read more of her work!!

Absolutely Brilliant.
I knew I wld like it when I found out Fallon was a tattoo artist who rode a Harley! I wanted to be her then, but when she turns out to be a druid kick arse woman & I definitely wanted to be her.
This book has everything I love. Magic, evil Vampires & more importantly one very sexy Werewolf.
I loved it from start to finish & was very upset when I did finish it. I'm very happy to know that there will be more in this series.
Brandy has a lovely writing style & her Sex scenes are HOT!

Werewolves, vampires, druids oh my!

This book has a little of something for everyone. Meet Fallon our hard-ass Druid heroine, with her tats and piercings. Then meet Brody our super hot, currently in mourning, second in command wolf *sigh* I loved Brody.

This book had plenty of action, lots of steamy scenes and a snarky voice to our main character.
I enjoyed the world River’s created with all her different characters, and it didn’t stop with the aforementioned creatures, she tossed a Brownie in there and some different Faes as well as a Shaman and Witches.

The concept and plot were well written as were the characters and their development. Though at times I felt like Fallon was almost too perfect, but honestly that’s a very small feeling and in no way changed my opinion of the story as a whole! I look forward to the next installment as I am still very curious about so many of the supporting characters in this book.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal)

Initially Read: January 2014

I liked that it had a mix of paranormal creatures in it. Quite action packed. I thought it was an interesting way in which Fallon and Brody met, or collided together. Loved that Fallon can do lots of interesting stuff as a druid, especially combining magic with tattooing - very cool!

Loved it!
review posted here...

I just loved this book, it is a genre that I love and always go back to no matter what. The synopsis is spot on with its description and that alone should pull you into this awesome read. Fallon is the kind of character I love, a free spirited biker chick, with a great sense of humour, capable of kicking a few butts and to top it all off she’s a tattooist. She also holds an air of mystery around her because of her abilities which seem to make her virtually unstoppable so it comes natural to help the werewolf that she hits with her bike because not only has he been injured but there are vampires chasing him and Fallon knows first-hand that no good can come from that confrontation, so she lends a hand. Brody again is another type of character that I love, a smoking hot werewolf with a dominating/possessive alpha male thing going on, very capable of handling himself and a mechanic (think of overalls wrapped around an oil slicked, solid, rippled torso yum!) so it’s really handy that he just so happens to be able to fix his saviours bike and has a spare apartment for her to crash in. When these two come together though, be prepared for some steamy windows, their chemistry is HOT! I know I was routing for them to hook up because they seemed perfect for each other but of course there is always baggage..Which leads us to the plot because hey, it’s not all about the smexy times. The storyline was really good, first books usually go through the whole getting to know you and my world arc which can usually bring down the pacing but that was not a problem at all for this. The way all of the supernaturals are introduced is easy, no lengthy descriptions - you find out who they are, what they do, what they’re capable of without all of the hoopla and it was refreshing that a first book does this and focuses on the story and I certainly didn’t feel like I knew the world any less for it. Which brings me to the world the author has created which was awesome, I don’t think I can fault it to be honest because this is my favourite genre UF/PNR and it did what I expected, bringing us varied supernaturals living in a community with a werewolf pack at the heart of it. With the arrival of Fallon the world opens wider and we are introduced to vampires, various types of shifters, mages, druids, elves/fae.. and that’s just for starters. The actual plot was exciting and filled with danger at every turn, when Fallon wasn’t being pursued by Brody for her body she was being chased by enemies galore including crazed exes & one particular foe who just didn’t know when to stay down and through this, we saw how awesome she is as a character. We are also introduced to a sort of supernatural governing body which sounds promising and there are hints at a series wide plot which has also piqued my curiosity. It definitely sets up what has the potential to be an amazing series, I’m excited about this one book so I can only see things getting better from here on out so if you are a UF/PNR fan you really need to read this, it’s such an easy read, lots of fun, with great characters, lots of sexy time & perfect pacing, that ticks all of my boxes and I cannot wait for the next instalment.

This is a must read if you enjoy paranormal romance!

From the first page, I found myself pulled into this story about Others - werewolves, druids, fae, and vampires, to name a few - and enjoying the ebb and flow. The rhythm was easy for me to follow and I enjoyed seeing events from both Fallon's and Brody's points of view. This made for an interesting twist and a better understanding of the situations.

Fallon is a complex character, edgy with a heavy dose of confidence. I like that. When she meets Brody her world is rocked and she's, for apparently the first time, unsure about what she's feeling and where she wants to go with it. It was fun to watch her as this character developed and I enjoyed not being sure which direction she would take or what to expect from her next.

Brody is not as unpredictable as Fallon, and I found him warm and engaging, as if we were already friends. He thought he knew where he was going, as well, and we all know how that can change in a second. Seeing scenes through his point of view gave me a better grasp on why he did some of the things he did, and made me appreciate the depth of his emotions.

The supporting cast was fun, as well; I liked the quirks and differences each exhibited and look forward to seeing more from them in the future.

First I will state that I was given this free for an honest review and didn't really expect it to be that good. I mean if its being given away it can't be that good right? Wrong! It's really very good and no I have never met the author and we are not best friends or anything !
Briefly it's the story of Fallon a Druid witch meeting Brody a werewolf who's wife died a few years ago and left him torn and grieving.Fallon is escaping from a relationship that was toxic and is not looking for love but this gorgeous caring male just blows her away! Chemistry! They are both seriously attracted and although Fallon tries to remain friends some things are just meant to be.
This relationship is set against the background of vampires, weres and mages and Fallons strength of character is amazing. This is no simpering heroine, this is a woman who seriously kicks ass and is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
This book does contain scenes of a sexual nature but its not erotica it's just seriously hot so maybe adult only.i really enjoyed this tale and the writing style reminded me of Dana Marie Bell and Marie Harte so if you are a fan of their work you will probably enjoy this book too.
So glad to read that other books are planned and this series will continue and I will definitely seek out other books by Ms Rivers

I'm a sucker for anything with vampires, werewolves, or faeries, so when I started reading In Too Deep I thought I was in heaven. Not only does it have my three favorite fantasy creatures, but there are a whole host of 'others' like werecats, mages, druids and more. There is a large cast to get to know, but the main characters, Fallon and Brody are easy to fall in love with. Fallon is strong and full of spunk. She isn't your typical weak and helpless female lead, waiting for the guy to come in and save her. In fact, she is the one who saves him on more than one occasion. That is not to say that Brody can't take care of himself, because he is a big strong wolf that any girl would love to have as back up.

One thing I will say about In Too Deep, is that there is a lot of terms that a new reader to this genre might not be familiar with. I wish I had realized up front that there is a reference guide in the back that explains all of the terms that are helpful to know. I would suggest checking that out first to avoid any confusion later on.

I would definitely recommend reading In Too Deep if you enjoy strong, sexy, take-no-prisoners females, and hot werewolves with a sweet vulnerable side. Oh and then there's the hot sex! That's always a good reason to read!

I was given this book by LoP in place of a honest review. Now Fallon is one woman I would never want to make mad. A woman that can do all she can is one you would want on you side to help you with all those things that go bump in the night.

Fallon and Brody meet in a way that they will always remember. Brody is in his wolf shape and Fallon is on her motorcycle going down the road at night. She has a spell on it so that it doesn't make a noise and has her lights off. Brody runs into her bike while he is trying to make it to his alpha's house. There are two vampires after him.

This was one hot and blood pounding read. I never knew how exciting this book was going to be. I'm glad that this one is the first and I can't wait to read more by this author. I don't believe I could ever get enough of these people. You always know you will get a amazing read and action packed adventure when there are lot's of others in a area living together.

I'm still trying to come down from the high that I am on. So if you like books with different beings then this is the book for you.

Wow, what a ride! Rivers takes the best elements of paranormal- fun abilities, mysterious characters- and manages to make them shine brighter than ever before! Fallon is a heroine you can get behind; she has just the right balance of sexiness, danger, and coolness, and you're rooting for her the entire time. Brody is the perfect match for her (and for all of us...am I right, ladies??), and his protectiveness will strike a chord in every woman whose pulse skips a beat when their man comes to their defense. With a fantastic supporting cast, Rivers manages to bring us deeper into the world of Edenton, and give us enough to get our heart racing and whet our appetite for more. A fantastic debut novel....and I, for one, cannot wait to get my hands on New Beginnings!

I really enjoyed this book. The mix of magical and mythical creatures is very different than the usual "Werewolf" or "Vampire" series. I loved the variety of characters and the fact that the heroine is a strong and independant woman. I am looking forward to more books in the series because I want to learn more about all the characters.

I'm really at a loss for words. I'm not sure 'Brilliant' or even 'Amazing' are strong enough words to convey how I think about this book. One thing I can definitely say is that this is one of the best books I read this year! And one of the best books I ever read ever!

This story begins with a woman named Fallon who is sick of men and their ways. She is riding her motorcycle when something, or rather, someone crashes into her. She recovers and sees that the person that ran into her was a werewolf. The werewolf’s name is Brody and he was running away from vampires when he ran into Fallon. Fallon can't leave an injured werewolf behind, especially when he is in danger. Risking her life, Fallon destroys the vampires and heals Brody. Never did she realize that, that event will affect her future forever. Fallon finds herself feeling drawn to the mysterious werewolf but tries to resist him. But as events drag them further and further together, Fallon finds out that not every guy is bad. She starts questioning everything she knows. Maybe Brody is different? What if she could find happiness with someone? But while Fallon tries to deal with the attraction to Brody, something evil is coming for her and the people she cares about. As her past collides with the present, Fallon must find the strength to remain true to herself and fight for the people she loves. But can she protect them? Or will they all fall to the darkness lurking about?

What I love about Fallon’s character is that she doesn't care about what people think about her. She is confident in the person she is. She knows that she is not perfect and is okay with that. Fallon is a very popular and impressive tattoo artist that has a lot of heart. She is covered in tattoos with flaming red hair and piercing green eyes. So many people look at her, and are drawn to her yet she doesn't want the attention. Another thing I like about Fallon is that she is independent. She is a Druid, a humans who possess mostly nature magic, and is very powerful. I love that she surprises me with her magic time and time again. I'm just as shocked as Brody when she performs her magic. If I had to be in a fight, Fallon is who I would want to guard my back. She is loyal, caring, and independent. She is one of my favorite female book characters ever!! I can read about Fallon for hours and hours!! Gosh I love her character!

Now Brody is...wow he is just plain awesome!! One of those male main characters that will have readers falling in love with him! What I adore about his character is that he loves Fallon, for who she is, and doesn't want her to change. Also, Brody is a werewolf! I mean, who doesn't love a strong and powerful werewolf? He is everything I love in a love interest in a story. Caring, but not too bossy. Powerful, but not arrogant. And loving, yet not overbearing. He was secure in who he was and trusted Fallon. Plus he, unlike many male book characters, communicated with Fallon, and tried to fix problems they had. He NEVER backed down from a challenge. He saw something he couldn't live without and put his whole heart into winning her affection. I love, love, love Brody!!

I adored this book! I'm kind of still at a loss for words! I had so much fun reading this book! I haven't read a book that has kept me up early into the morning reading in a long time! I only wish I had the next book to go and get. I seriously can't wait until the next book comes out! I felt so many emotions reading this book. When an author can make me cry, laugh, scream, and cheer throughout the story I really think they have accomplished genius. Brandy L. Rivers is definitely an author to look out for! I am a huge fan of hers now, and loved reading her book. I recommend this book to everyone!

Some of my favorite parts:

Her eyes narrowed at him. “All you werewolves think you’re the toughest shit out there. Just chill out and give me a minute.

"Brody closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around her waist, nuzzling her back. His growl moved into his purring one."

“I’m so glad you crashed into my life, Brody
“Me too.

“Oh my God. Jamie grinned. “Introduce me to your hot stud, and please tell me he has a brother. Fallon threw her head back and laughed. “This is Brody Dean, and don’t get any ideas. If Jess didn’t already tell you, he’s mine. And yes, he has a brother, but he’s getting married soon. She turned back to him and winked. “Brody, this is Jamie. She’s a sweetheart, but she loves to ogle gorgeous men. And you, my dear, are simply scrumptious.

"He looks at you like you're the only woman who exists."

I want to start off by saying that I lost my Paranormal Romance genre V-card to this book and I'm glad it happened. At first, I was very hesitant to read it since I feared I wouldn't be able to get passed the paranormal aspect of it. But I am beyond thrilled I was wrong. This was truly a great read. The story line and the characters were intriguing and very well developed.

Fallon, the female leading character, is one tough chick!!!! Her gifts and abilities are just part of the reason she's such a badass. I mean, she'd been through hell and back and yet, she was as strong as ever. Loved her personality and the fact that she always spoke her mind. Due to her past, the last thing Fallon expected was to fall in love, but destiny always gets her way. Enter hot, protective yet gentle, werewolf, Brody.
"I'm not making a pass, I swear. But I'd be lying if I said you weren't absolutely gorgeous."

"His tongue swept over his lips and she began to think trouble was spelled B-R-O-D-Y."

"She was his, she was meant to be with him, a part of him. He just had to convince her that he belonged to her."

So many things happened during this book that kept me turning the pages wanting to figure things out. Then again, what can you expect from a book with characters made up of witches, druids, vampires, were-animals and more? Drama! Action! Angst! Oh! and let's not forget passion!! Because yes, there are some very passionate and HOT sex scenes!!
".. "I can't hold back," he said through clenched teeth. "Don't. I need hard." She ended on a cry as he pounded into her."

The way the book was narrated allowed me to connect to all the characters... all of them. Even the ones I seriously disliked, I couldn't help but feel something for them. That just goes to show how well "In Too Deep" was written. The scenes were very well described, so I had absolutely no problem visualizing them through out the book.

I really liked the way this book ended and I'm very much looking forward to reading more about Brody and Fallon and the rest of the characters. I'm interested in seeing where life takes them after all the things they faced in this book.
"I've got you. I'm yours. I'm never letting you go."

The next book is a prequel about Jess, Fallon's psychic best friend and Slater, the werewolf's pack Alpha, both of whom we met in "In Too Deep".

If you are a Paranormal Romance virgin, like I was, I recommend you read this book. It may really change your opinion about this genre. Thank you Brandy for taking a chance on me and allowing me to read your book!

I was given a copy of 'In Too Deep' in exchange for an honest review. I recently started reading paranormal genre and this book is another reason I am glad I did!

This book has a lot of characters, but I believe it is a great introduction to them because this is book one of the series. I love when authors do this because they don't need to be reintroduced in the following books. The main characters in this book are Fallon (druid), Brody (werewolf), Slater (werewolf), Jess (werewolf) and Hayden (Earth Fae). With a few other minor characters thrown in. There are bad vampires, were animals, shadowstalkers, and mages. I had no clue what most of these beings were. Thank 'Goddess' for a reference!

Fallon is one bad ass chick! I seriously want to be like her when I am grown up! She rides a Harley, she can heal people and she has mad tattoos! For sure a bad ass! Within a few pages of the story, we are introduced to Brody... And wow, wow, wow! You can feel the chemistry between these two just reading about their emotions when they are around each other. Can we say fireworks?!?! Then we are introduced to Slater and Jess, who are mates. Jess is also one of Fallon's best friends and a clairvoyant. Yes, she is a bad ass too!

Fallon left her past. Her ex-boyfriend, Isaac (Weretiger) is a cheating piece of crapola and she finally left him, in the past. She had no idea where she was heading, but Jess did, and it was right for Brody. Jess has it all planned out..... And it was going all according to how she saw in it her visions. However she didn't see everything. Will Fallon's past come back and bite her in the ass, and I really mean bite?!?!

And that is where I am going to stop! I do not like revealing everything! This book is a must read. There is girl drama, jealousy and HOT STICKY SEX! The sex scenes were quite yummy and now I have a craving for caramel. There is action and things that happen that makes you wonder can that really happen or really wish that could happen. The characters grow and evolve into stronger characters by the end of this book. There are a few areas that are a smidgen rushed, but it didn't really effect the overall flow of the book. I love how humans and other beings interact in the same world like nothing is different about them. I honestly can't wait to see what is in store in books to come in this series and the other characters in the books!!

4.5 out of 5 stars!!!

I received this book to give an honest reviews.

DAMNNNNNNNNNNN! I really loved this book. Let me say this I love reading about the weres, vamps, but more importantly I love reading about the main character when they are kicking ass.

With In Too Deep you have a tattoo artist (which by the way is freaking awesome) who is leaving behind her ex in San Francisco why? Well you just have to read that to find out, lets just say I would have kicked him to the curb a long time ago sweetie. Not only that Fallon has a bad past with a vampire name Malachi.
When Fallon ends up in Edenton, were of course where her friend Jess lives and other beings such as fae, weres, mages and healers. It was like destiny was calling her there.

When a werewolf named Brody hits into her motorcycle one night, and Fallon saves him something starts between the two that Fallon is scared of. She has never had good luck with guys and after leaving her ex behind she truly does not want to be in another relationship.

Fallon being a bad ass tattoo artist that can put a ward on tattoo's she has a lot of abilities, she can cast spells, heal. And she cares for others way more than herself. On top of that she is hot! When she lands in Edenton waiting on her bike to get repaired she is offered a job at Inktastic and starts making friends along with getting to work.

Brody lost his wife years ago, and when Fallon comes into his life his world changes dramatically. He feels a need to protect her and he wants to be with her but he is willing to wait a bit until she is ready. That being said Brody is a gentleman on so many levels he is such a sweetheart! You can tell he really cares for Fallon and others. I love how he calls her sugar, whenever he talks to her it was like awwwwwwwwwww! And the way Brody talked to his brothers you can tell there was brotherly love there.

Fallon and the others are now into a battle with evil. Malachi wants Fallon and he will do anything he can to get to her, even kill those that are around her. But Fallon doesn't give up without a fight.

If you are looking for a book full of everything you could want in a book. Then this is it. You get all sorts of the supernatural, you get a main character who is just bad ass. You get a fight scene, and of course you get the sex! I mean you have to have sex in a book like this, with these type of characters. I can not wait to read more by this author! She did a terrific job.

This was another of those books where the author creates a world that you get completely lost in. I was on the edge of the couch reading this book, completely devoid or my reality I was lost in the story.

I knew from when Brady first contacted me this story was going to be great. She was passionate and it showed in her writing. A book that really shows you the complete picture. This book astonishes and doesn’t leave you wanting for anything more that another book because it was just THAT good.

I felt that this book pulled right in from the start. We join in on the story running and are filled in as we meet the world. I Loved this. Other reviews pointed out as well that instead of giving you the whole world history like a lot of paranormal books do, this book does it as the story progresses. I felt this allowed for me to grip the story that much better.

Our heroine in this book is Fallon. I feel the need to point out I am using that term lightly as she really is more the “Kick Ass Girl you’ll see, its a much more fitting title. Hot, pierced, and tattooed, this girl rocks the world of all those she encounters. She is a force to be reckoned with and the small town she ends up in find that out quickly. Smart. Strong. Beautiful. She’s is the epitome of the type of characters I Love to Love.

Now her Love in this story, Brody is the Perfect math to her. Now let you mind wander for a second

Yep, you got it, He is exactly as hot and perfect as you are guessing, and more. More. I said it. He is tall, dark, and handsome, and he is also kind, smart, and protective of what he loves.

This story had me going start to finish. It was well written, had some really great twists, and had a fan-friggen-tastic storyline. I adored the fact that we were given just enough of a taste of the world to leave us grabbing for more. The Characters are real and fun, You really just fall in love with their personalities from the get-go. They are a big family and we join right in. Just the right amount of love story to the action packed plot line left this book a perfectly balanced read. Enjoy!

Brandy L Rivers
In Too Deep
Others of Edenton #1
Paranormal Romance

From the very start of this book I just couldn’t get enough. Brandy does an excellent job with the plot line, scene setting and character development and there is a great mix of sex, action, magic, vampires and shifters. As the story continues the characters become friends, people you care about, and although there are a few to remember, the story has been written in such a way that it’s easy to keep track.

Brody and Fallon are made for each other; the chemistry and sexual tension between them is clear from the moment they run into each other, but both are too messed up and have too many issues to sort out before they can even consider giving in to their urges. There was a real feel to the romance, it wasn’t just love at first sight, they had to work at it and trust each other.

I was left wanting so much more from this series, and can’t wait to dive into New Beginnings.

WARNING: You will fall in love with Brody, it’s just inevitable.

Favourite quotes:
"All you werewolves think you're the toughest shit out there. Just chill out and give me a minute."

I received an e-copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

If you enjoy paranormal romance books with a healthy dose of action, this is a must read.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The heroine in this book is one tough cookie, loyal to the bone and deep, deep down is a softy at heart

Please before you read this book, read the .5 book "New Beginnings" as I made the mistake of not doing it. I then had to back track as it gives you a better understanding of the characters. I wanted to read something different and well this certainly was different and bloody brilliant.

Fallon is a tattooed, hard as nails, ass kicking Druid and I loved her and her character so much. She lives San Fransisco as she finds her lover cheating. Riding her motorcycle the werewolf Brody literally crashes in to her life. Fallon saves his ass.
Jess is one of Fallon's close friends and has visions of what is going to happen. So she has prearranged a flat and a job for Fallon.

Brody is an enforcer with his pack and would hand Fallon the stars if he could. He doesn't mind that he has a strong woman at his side and that makes me love him even more. The sex scenes were hot and steamy but it didn't dominate the book. The plot was good and sound. As an evil nemesis was back and out for Fallon.

Brody had a bit of a stalker in the form of Dacia and well she is very impulsive but Fallon puts her in her place every single time.

Throughout the book we meet all main characters and supporting characters who will hopefully keep turning up as I loved the world that B.L. Rivers has built and I can't wait to find out more about it.

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side!

Firstly I would like to thank Brandy L. Rivers, author of In Too Deep for giving me this wonderful opportunity of reviewing her work and I’m really glad to do that. So, moving on to the review part now.

WOW! That was just breathtakingly, freakishly wonderful! This is the very first thought that will come to your mind when you’ll finish this book. It’s really that much awesome, I swear!

The story sucked me in from the very first page and I traveled in a beautiful, wondrous, mystical, mysterious and totally real world that the author created.

The main character Fallon is a kick-ass heroine and I really like females who are strong, confident, self dependent, powerful and not a helpless chick! So if you wanna have some real female butt-kicking then you ought to have this book.

The male main character Brody was very good as well but Fallon stole the show! Brody is strong, sexy and hot and he’ll knock you out girls, totally! So watch out.

The erotic and super sexy romance will make your heart stop and you’ll yearn for more. This story is full of action, suspense, romance, thrill, what else do you need guys? So grab your copy and enjoy the ride!

IN TOO DEEP (BOOK 1, OTHERS OF EDENTON) by Brandy L Rivers
PUBLISHED: April 14, 2013
REVIEW BY: Reading In Pajamas/ Donna
RATED: 4 Stars

REVIEW:
Weres, Vampires and Druids all in one town and all in one book. I thought I would be overloaded with all the "others" in one story but the author kept it all on track. I like how the Weres and Druids all worked together to combat the evil threat while basically being normal people that you could relate to. The story revolves around Fallon, a tattoo artist and Druid. She is strong, powerful and fiercely independent without being annoying. Brody is a strong werewolf who appreciates her strength and abilities. I loved how he would step back and let her deal with things instead of going all alpha on her. Their romance was nice and simmering hot.

Ms. River's first book built a good foundation for the rest of the series and introduced all the characters and the world without getting bogged down with it. I enjoyed this book and noted to look for book 2 as I know she will get better and better as the story evolves.

Paranormal beings galore

This made for a good read. I enjoyed it.

Pros:
* strong heroine that's the ultimate badass
* lots of paranormal beings
* great potential for more stories to come
* HOT sexual tension between Brody and Fallon

Cons:
* Loved the beginning, it just pulled me in, the middle lagged on for a while to me, but towards the end the pace picked back up for me
* Too many characters in the story; some seemed very irrelevant and it was difficult to keep up with who was who, but perhaps they will show up in upcoming series which is why they were all introduced in book 1?
* I was left wanting more after this read. It was like a really good piece of pie, but I just wanted that ice cream on top, ya know?

Overall, I think the writer did a wonderful job, especially considering this was her first novel. Ill keep my eyes out for her name to see what she comes up with in the future.

How much did I pay: .99
Will I recommend this: sure
Will I read more in series: not likely

REVIEWED FOR Swoon Worthy Books

The author has done an awesome job of setting up the story and sucking you into the little town Edenton that’s full of Others that include druids, werewolves, fae, vampires, and more. My main issue when I started this book was the many POV changes that took place in just the first chapter alone (3-4 POVs). I had a hard time keeping track of whose head I was in, which made this less than an easy read. I would have preferred a POV change to be clearly stated by a page break scene change or a new chapter. This, however, didn’t affect my opinion of the overall read. The characters were well developed and I really liked Fallon and Brody. The story had a nice development, although the over exaggerated infatuation between the main characters was slightly unbelievable because of how quickly it came about and escalated. Maybe extending the story timeframe would easily resolve this?
Fallon is a beautiful hardcore independent motorcycle loving tattoo artist. While she has a tough exterior her soft interior is slowly exposed with the help of her love for Brody, a hot and super sweet werewolf. She doesn’t give into her instant draw to him, but it’s inevitable and their sexy intimate moments together won’t disappoint! Secondary characters are introduced with ease and intricately intermingled into the development of the Edenton world.
The story quickly takes off after the halfway point when a dangerous conflict from Fallon’s past resurfaces and nearly destroys her and the new life she so desperately needs. The subject matter is dark at times, so be warned. The dark moments of Fallon’s past are disturbing, but are not disturbingly detailed, which I am thankful for as a lover of “lighter subject matter and is not necessary since the story didn’t revolve around those specific incidents. I would say the conflict is secondary to the development of Fallon’s character and her relationship with Brody.
I really liked the book. I personally only need one sex scene a book to get the idea of the intimate bond and the type of relationship between two characters, which has me rating this book at 4, but for others who enjoy that they may rate it a 4.5.

Edgy Mary Sue finds happiness through mating with a werewolf. This had a lot of cliches. And a form of insta-love, as the cool and independent Fallon falls pretty fast for the scrumptious werewolf Brody.
It is three days before they are officially mated, in love and moving in together. Marriage proposal to follow soon...
Ìý
Brody is too good to be true and Fallon is so hot and cool and strong and sexy, that everyone wants her. And the guys who are mean to her? They are only mean to disguise how much they still want her. Because she is the best and the coolest. And has tattoos and a nipple ring, I mean, how cool can you be? She even won over Dacia, the jealous ex.
Ìý
And her ex of two years who was a good friend before they hooked up? Is supposed to be a kinky pervert, because he likes bondage. And wants her to submit in the bedroom. Which is obviously a crime and something that can never happen.
Somehow her vanilla style in the bedroom clashes with her Harley, Piercing, Tattoos and hard drinks lifestyle. Then he somehow becomes super-evil, only wants her pain and tries to rape her repeatedly. No explanation for this, just "yeah, he is unhinged, was always this way" - how very observant of Fallon...
Ìý
The side characters were widely uninteresting. And there were too many of them...probably because this is a part in a series.
Ìý
The evil enemy is obviously very, very stupid. The whole plot to get the strongest Others to fight in his illegal fight ring is simply dumb. The costs and efforts to obtain Fallon and the other strong people are pretty high - and this whole obsession the big bad vampire has with her makes no sense whatsoever...exceptÌýFallon is a Mary Sue with emerald eyes...and everyone wants her...
