NOTE: This is a Complete Novel. No cliffhanger. Dual POV. Rated 18+ due to adult language and sexual content. This is an adult contemporary erotic romance filled with suspense, light BDSM, Dom/sub play, and touching on some psychological elements. This series centers around the Prescott family, their friends, and businesses. I Need You Always, Need #1 I Need You Now, Need #2 I Need You Here, Need #3 I Need You Too, Need #4 I Need You Forever, Need #5 - Coming February 2016
Ethan McDonald had everything he wanted in life until one jerk’s misconceptions caused him to be in an accident - inadvertently taking another’s life and nearly costing him his own. Months later he woke from a coma to find how much things had changed. He found forgiveness from the victim’s family, but could he find absolution from her husband and more importantly himself.
It took months for him to integrate back into society. His friend, Nate, helped him refocus his life with the need for assistance in catching the culprit behind all the accounting mistakes at work. In turn, he was welcomed into Prescott International, as the new lead in IT. He’d gained favor from the family, especially from a certain lady
Marjorie (Prescott) Bentley had finally succeeded in divorcing her husband and making her way back to her family and the company business. She’d been into the BDSM scene, but her ex, a wannabe Dom, nearly destroyed her, wanting her only for her wealth. She’d put on a friendly face to everyone, but internally she was trying to overcome the nightmares and struggles to find her way back to her old life, with her need to submit, her need for him
Ethan and Marjorie saw through each other’s masquerades and found support with one another. But could they both let go of the nightmares of their pasts and move forward together? Could they both learn to heal, surrendering to one another, and their darkest desires?
I grew up in a small town in South Florida and moved to Central Florida to attend college. I married my friend, love, and soul mate and still reside in the area with our amazing son, and a feisty, four-legged little doggie boy.
In my books, I draw on my background in healthcare, business, and science, along with my husband’s engineering and wireless technology knowledge.
I love to cook and create in the kitchen and on the bbq grill. I sometimes lose myself in a song at the piano. I enjoy crafting, amusement parks, and the beach!

Loving this series! Another great addition to the series with Ethan's story. I started this series with the last book but not reading the other 2 didn't make it hard to read. The past seems to haunt in these books but in this one it's different. Ethan and Marjorie have been friends and are helping each other deal with what's happened to each of them. When Ethan finally gives in and talks to Kent things come to a head for them and when her life is in danger they finally give in to feelings that they've been ignoring. In order to have the relationship they want, they both have heal by talking about what happened in their pasts, Ethan has to learn about what she needs and everyone needs to find out who wants her dead.
The characters from the previous books are all part of this story and it kept me on the edge of my seat. Be prepared to not want to put this book down until you read the last page, seriously!
I adore this author and her writing style. She has a way of captivating you when she pens a book. From her super strong alpha males to her kick ass heroines, her characters tend to lead real-life situations that you can relate too. When I discovered the first book in the Need Series, I loved it so much. Each book in this series is a standalone though I would recommend reading these books in order. They crossover in each book and we get repeat guest appearances in each novel.
I loved this book! It was sexy, sweet, fun, suspenseful, full of feels, and had a few twists and turns along the way to make you stay on the edge of your seat. And finally we get Ethan's story. From the time we met him in this series, he pulled at my heartstrings with all of the emotions so I knew his story was going to be special. And I was totally right. Ethan stole my heart and earned second place... right behind my sweet Rafe. Get ready to get twisted up in your emotions with Ethan.
This is Ethan and Marjorie's story. Both of them are survivors in their own way. Both have their own scars and internal battles. Both have been broken down. Ethan has been suffering and living in his own damnation since the tragic accident and Marjorie is trying to live again after her brutal marriage. Can these two find a way to blossom their friendship into a true, everlasting love? Can they find a way to heal their scars? Is a happy ending possible? Another hit in the Need Series!
I loved watching these two open up again. It was amazing to see the love and intensity between these two just roll off of the pages. And Ethan.. swoon! Watching him really come into his own and the inner Dom in him... yowza hot! and Marjorie, I found myself really feeling her and rooting for her to find that happy ending. If two people deserved everything love and life have to offer, it was these two after all they had been through. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
Ethan and Marjorie’s story is different from the other need series in that the characters have a familiarity with each other since the story takes place a couple years after the accident. By leaning on each other and supporting one another they have already formed a bond. The relationship part is already established but the hesitation to go that extra step is what the story breaks through. In the previous books you knew they had an attraction for each other so this book brings you what a true fan desires the passion and the love Ethan and Marjorie deserve. But with the added twist of danger and mystery to help tell and complete their story. Ethan is still dealing with his guilt from the accident and Gabi’s death while Marjorie is trying to put behind her disastrous marriage. Their broken souls recognize their other half and dangerous circumstances put them together closer than before. Someone is out to kill one or both of them. The family is unsure if it’s Marjorie’s ex-husband and are set out to find out. In the meantime Ethan and Marjorie agree to therapy to help them get past all the pain they still harbor so they can hopefully move on together. Between Ethan being educated about the lifestyle by Marjorie along with some of the other Prescotts and the mystery of who wants them dead the story is full of edge of your seat moments and sensual moments in the bedroom. Throughout the story you are keeping hope that Ethan and Marjorie get their happily ever before anything more disastrous can go wrong since they have suffered so much already. Cynthia P. O’Neill has created a world of characters so enjoyable and mesmerizing that you anxiously anticipate where the next story will take you while going back to enjoy the previous ones over and over again.
I Need You Too is book four in Cynthia P O'Neill's Need series, and it is just as good as the previous books. This is Ethan and Marjorie's story and it is set a couple of years after the tragic accident that killed Gabi. Ethan is still blaming himself for the accident, despite Gabi's family repeatedly telling him that it wasn't his fault and that he was a victim too. Marjorie is still recovering from her divorce to a husband who left her with numerous mental and physical scars. Ethan and Marjorie have been a great support to each other, but is it worth risking their friendship to try out a romantic relationships? As they grow closer they soon realise that they are in danger from a deranged killer who has one of them in their sights.
There is so much raw emotion in this book, Ethan and Marjorie have both been through so much, it is heartbreaking. But this was expertly balanced with humour and passion so it was a heartwarming story. The BDSM was fairly light, but it was also very hot. I loved how newcomer to the lifestyle, Ethan, was determined to be the perfect Dom for Marjorie and learnt from her and other Doms. These two really did need each other, they were a perfect partnership.
As well as the fantastic romance storyline, there is also an intriguing suspense plot that had me hooked. There was a big twist that I really wasn't expecting, but it was so good. This is a great book that I absolutely loved - five stars.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
I love this series! Ethan & Marjorie's story is just as sweet, sultry, and full of love as the previous books. They both had things to heal from, and their friendship gave them just what they needed to hold each other up. As that friendship progressed into a deep and true love... it was just a joy to read about! ALSO, journeying w/ Ethan as he shed his preconceived ideas of the BDSM lifestyle & learned to follow his dominant nature, gaining back the control he'd felt he'd lost ... marvelous! This series and the way the lifestyle is portrayed (respectfully, for one thing) gets 10+ stars and two thumbs up. And at the end of this story, we get a snippet of Jackson & Robin's story & I don't want to wait a year for it! Looking forward to it!! : )
WOW -- I just love the NEED SERIES and I love the way that Cynthia P. O'Neill writes!!! I know that the books in this series can be read as stand alone books -- BUT - they are such much better when you read them in order!!!
This book is the story of Ethan McDonald and Marjorie Prescott Bentley. Both have deep emotion problems with things that have taken place in their past -- and, the way that they handle these things together and separately is amazing!!! I don't write spoilers - so I will NOT tell you what happens. BUT - you will be amazed at the twist and turns that this story-line takes.
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
Cynthia O'Neill has not disappointed us with the 4th book in the I need you series.
I need you too is Marjorie's and Ethan's story and it is jam packed with mystery and suspense, as well as sexy magnetic attraction.
Like the previous books in this series, you will be left racing through trying to solve the threats, you will love how everyone comes together to protect Marjorie and Ethan.
Once Ethan finally realise that he can move forward he knows that Marjorie is the one he not only loves and wants for the rest of his life but will protect her till the end with his life.
I loved this whole series and can't wait to see what Cynthia has installed next. I gave this book 4 1/2 stars.
I think I say this every time I read one of Cynthia's books but....I LOVED THIS ONE! It had the perfect mix of fun, love, and OMG moments. I was just going to read a few chapters and next thing I know it was 4 in the morning and I had finished the whole book. The characters are wonderful and the emotions they feel come through in the writing. It was a fantastic read and I'm sure I'll be reading it again.
After reading this one, I've already decided I need to go back and get books 1 & 2 so I can get caught up and get a bit more on these characters past history.
Both Ethan and Marjorie have demons from their past that they must overcome if they hope to have a future.
After waking up from a four month coma, Ethan McDonald feels as if he no longer has any control over his life. Everything was snatched from him because of a jealous man's need to control a woman. Since the accident the Prescott family have welcomed him into the fold, even when he feels it's undeserving, and have given him a job with Prescott International that has him working to save lives of some of the Prescott's.
Marjorie Prescott is finally free of an abusive marriage. The man she was married to took her love for the BDSM scene and turned it around for reason torture and abuse her. However, after a year she is still receiving threats that she is sure coming from her husband.
What starts out as a friendship between these two turns sizzling and hot. But nothing is ever easy with the Prescott family and Ethan still has demons and guilt weighing down on him that he must deal with before he can fully move on and accept his feelings for Marjorie.
I Need You Too is an emotional rollercoaster of friendship, familial bonds, mystery, suspense and murder. O'neill spins a tale that keeps the reader enticed and on the edge if their seats. Wow is all I can say about this book. As a standalone book this one is a little different in that Ethan and Marjorie have been friends for years. They have a history already when the book starts that aids in their relationship moving forward. Neither of them are willing to move forward into a loving relationship because they do not want to lose the friendship. As they lean on each other to get past their problems they realize that they do have deep emotional ties to each other. Characters are so strongly written you feel like you have known this family for years. If we all had a family as strong as this one there would not be so many issues in the world. Please if you have never read any of these books I canot recommend them enough. There are elements of light BDSM but I don't find them very strong in this book. Friendship, family and love take front and center in this book. Job well done.
Sometimes I'm so invested in a series and it's characters, that I force myself to overlook annoyances. That is the case with this NEED series. I love the people! I love the situations that Ms. O'Neill throws them in, and throughout the series, getting to slowly know Ethan and Marjorie? I was excited to see their story finally happen.
If you haven't read the series, you're given a great wake up call (pun totally intended) with the initial scene -- right away, you learn of Marjorie's spitfire ways, and the type of friendship/relationship that she and Ethan have. It only grows from there.
Marjorie's past has a way of haunting her, and Ethan has guilt in spades. Both of these have broken pieces, but they've always been one another's strength -- even if in friendship only. Their chemistry has always been palpable, so I loved seeing them cross that line, once and for all.
So, the story is great. I love the story. The dialogue isn't my favorite, and the author's use of throwing the title in throughout the story, in words or in thoughts, and her overuse of exclamation points, drives me batty, but if you can overlook little things like that (or hey, maybe they're you're thing!), ...that was me being sassy, I'm sorry... the story is easy to follow, and the characters are easy to love and root for.
I won this from a goodreads giveaway and immediately put off reading this for a while after receiving it in the mail along with a few "extras" it was like getting a porn starter kit. I finally decided to read it and it was a stereotypical romance novel. Nothing special.
Threatening notes are being sent to a young woman who has just divorced her abusive husband and her family’s security firm is trying to find the responsible party. Life insurance policies have been taken out on her life although neither she nor her ex know anything about them. Her ex states he has not been sending the notes and surveillance indicates he is telling the truth. When asked if she had any enemies, she said no until her sister reminded her of the three girls from college who made their lives miserable with their jealousy and hate. College was years ago. Was one of the girls behind this?
I received this book free from Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. This was the fourth book in the series and was difficult to follow since I had not read any of the preceding books.
