A book useful to any new mom, particularly during the first year of baby life. The information is well structured and organised in a way to help you find your way through so many new challenges. I particularly appreciated the focus on creating healthy routines for the baby, as a healthy way to create good habits and behavior rules.

I received this book from Netgalley in return for an honest review but this was not the first time I had read it. I bought it for a friend who then began quoting it on regular intervals when speaking about her first child so I borrowed it to see what all the fuss was about.

Rachel Waddilove had many years experience as a nanny and on her a private maternity unit and this shines through in this practical, easy to read and highly usable book.

The layout makes it easy to read and pick up some of the wonderful tips. I can see why my friend liked it so much.
