The Twins are back and delving deep into the mysteries that they've uncovered in the West End. do they know everything about Altimus or do they? they now have to protect those who are associated with them from the dark past of their mother and stepfather. Sydney grows closer to her Biological father and Lauren learns about a mystery family member who has a lot to do with her life and identity.

Favorite Quote: “Love don’t have shit to do with survival.”~Keisha

We are back in Hotlanta with Lauren and Sydney on the rails of their father Dice coming back into their lives as he has been accused of murder and so has Lauren’s boyfriend. If that isn’t enough their mother is now married to their biological father’s Best Man. Can things be anymore drama filled?

I love the friendship that Sydney has with her best friends Cameron and Rhea, it seems very authentic.

I don’t like how it took a while to get the story going again. We were still world building but we had already built the world in the first book of the series. The way the last book ended I was hoping we would jump right into the frying pan but we were sizzling for a while.

Their mother, Keisha, is a nasty piece of work and everything wrong with people who shouldn’t have children.

Lauren is extremely immature and it bothers me so much, her boyfriend is literally fighting for his life and she can only think of trivial things and I get that she is 17, so it makes sense but people like her are to be encountered from afar.

The cliffhanger was PERFECT!

Better than the first. Side characters are fleshed out more, and the bad guys are really scary. Like, Lauren/Sydney are in real trouble. Can't wait to see how it all shakes out.
