Lynne is 3 for 3 with another amazing book! Now that the plot is beginning to come full circle, the story is just getting even better. Each character plays such a significant role in connecting with the reader so that every piece of your personality can be found in each one of the characters. Each of them has grown and learned to deal with hardships, that are not necessarily to different from the ones we all face every day. It's hard to not feel attached as it's like you've gone down these journeys with each of them and felt their own feelings as your own. I truly love how, as the reader, I have been able to watch these characters grow and develop and catch a glimpse into their own mind. The development between Six and Ten, Six and Seven, Seven and Three, and Seven Nine is addicting. You end up rooting for every single one in their own ways to succeed and to find their happiness. These books are utterly amazing! I can't wait to read the 4th one.

5 MILLION STARS!!!!!

The Sky Trilogy has become my new all-time favorite trilogy and I sit here now after just finishing it with a mixture of that perfect book bliss + sadness that this story is over. I put off reading it for as long as I could, and even convinced myself that there was no way that this finale was going to live up to my expectations. I prepared myself for this book to go the way ofAllegiantand instantly make me hate the entire trilogy. I was unprepared for this book to be everything I wanted it to be.

Part of the Skystarts exactly whereReturn to the Skyleft off. Even though it's been about 2 months since I read the last book, it was really easy to pick back up. This book has it all. Clandestine meetings, secret plans, rebellion, plot twists -- everything. It has both heart-stopping and jaw-dropping moments. And when I say heart-stopping, I mean it. At about the 50% mark I had to put the book down and go to bed. I just couldn't take any more without spending some time processing it. If I could force this trilogy into the hands of every fan of the genre then I would. It deserves all the readers...and the praise too.

You need to read these books.

I received an advance reader copy of this book that I have chosen to review (and gush about).

The best way I can review Part of the Sky is simply to tell you to read it. Read it now. Read the whole series now.

As a reader, reading the ending to a series makes me want to prolong the ending...and I tried, but holy crow. I couldn't believe where J.W Lynne took the story. I couldn't make myself stop reading once I reached about 35% into the story.

This was an amazing finale to the series and I will miss Six, Seven, Ten, Jackie, and Ryan dearly. But its a good thing, I love to re-read. Yet even if I didn't, I'm sure I would read this one all over again.

'Part of the Sky' completely blew me away. This was the perfect ending for an awesome series, 'Above the Sky Trilogy'. Once I started reading, I had a hard time stopping. As the storyline played out it became more intense, more creative and the further I delved in, so many secrets were coming out. I was thoroughly intrigued. The storyline was well written and well thought out. What an unusual and yet amazing world to be a part of. Jenny Lynne did such a fantastic job at describing what was going on, the descriptive surroundings and the people came alive for me. The characters were an array of individuals with different feelings, thought process and the way they handled their life as it basically was not as it seemed. Seven and Six were amazing characters. I loved how they had complete trust with each other. Even though they were twins, they were still programmed to think and act a certain way, yet they both were selfless and so compassionate. Ten was a genius. I loved his devotion to Seven and the mutual love they shared. Nine and Six were quite the pair. They abided by the rules, for the most part, and became closer for it. I could go on and on about each character that truly moved me, but I do believe I'll leave it at that. A must add to your tbr list. Highly recommended.

I received a copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you Jenny Lynne for the opportunity to read your book. I loved the first two books, and I have to say that the third book was amazing as well. I loved that I got to get into the minds of not only Seven, but also Ten, Jackie, and Six. I loved that Six and Jackie's POVs told us more of what is happening rather than Seven and Ten all the time. I find it refreshing and makes the story more interesting. I thought there was a lot of action and that it was fast-paced. The characters were amazing as well. I thought the plot twists and the way the book flowed was great. I feel sad to know that this is the last book of the series, but I am happy to have read the series. I hope Jenny Lynne will create a new world soon, so I can read more of her books. Overall, an incredible read.

This was the perfect end to this series. This book slayed me and I loved every minute of it and never wanted it to end. I was completely consumed by this book and totally invested in the characters. This author has a way of writing that completely draws you into the story and holds on until the very end. This book was in the same vein as the Hunger Games for me and I loved it! It was full of adventure, heartbreak, mystery and love. I highly recommend this series.

As we reach the final book in the trilogy, the question still lingers: will Seven survive above the sky? Having discovered her life was based on lies, Seven has been fighting to survive against those in power. Picking up immediately where Return to the Sky finished, Seven and Ten find themselves risking everything to save the ones they love. As more secrets are revealed and loyalties are challenged, they find themselves wondering who they can actually trust.

I have been impatiently waiting for this book since I read the last word of Return to the Sky, so to say I was excited to get started on this is an understatement. I have become completely captivated by Seven and Ten’s story right from the beginning and this final instalment did not disappoint. We were left knowing that something big was going to go down and the action started from the very first chapter. I loved the various different POV’s we got to see the story from, especially Six and Jackie’s as they revealed information that we would never have learnt from Seven or Ten. The short, sharp chapters kept me on the edge of my seat and created so much tension I felt like a coiled spring the entire time I was reading! But most importantly, the plot was fantastic. Still dealing with the revelations from the first two books, Seven and Ten are stunned to discover even more sinister secrets both Up There and back home; I am not going to spoil them, but wow, there are some serious shocks in this book! Every time I thought I had figured something out, the story took yet another twist and I was left re-thinking everything I had come to believe!

Revisiting Seven and Ten’s lives is always such a treat, and I was willing them to get their happy ending in this instalment. I fell in love with them both in Above the Sky, and my love towards them has grown with each sequel; I just can’t get enough of them. I want to be Seven (mainly so I can have my own Ten!) because she is such a strong, fierce and caring character. She never loses her compassion or sensitive side, despite everything she goes through and the difficult decisions she has to make. The support Ten provides her with is exactly what she needs to survive, especially after leaving their daughter back home with Six and Nine. I love them as a couple and they have found their way onto my list of favourite book couples ever. Alongside them are the fantastic cast of supporting characters, who really make the story feel complete. I loved finding out more about Six and Nine’s life back home, as well as Jackie’s true identity and how she has kept this hidden for so long. Along with these old favourites, we got to meet some new characters too, although not all of them were nice to meet; I’m thinking of Carter in particular!

I may be devastated that the trilogy is finally finished, but I feel so satisfied with the ending. Again, I’m not going to spoil it for you, but if you loved the series as much as I do, I think you will be happy with the way things have been left. I will miss dipping into Seven and Ten’s lives, but I know this is a series that I will definitely be re-reading. I cannot thank the author enough for creating a story that is exactly the kind of thing I love to read; I couldn’t have picked anything more accurate or perfect for me. This is an absolutely wonderful end to an absolutely wonderful series and I cannot recommend it enough!

This series is great! Love the whole premise, and love the characters! This book is interesting and exciting, and I love how the characters have really come into their own, and they have become so strong. The writing flows beautifully, and the story comes to life. This is the final book in the trilogy, so definitely read the first 2 books before this one, so you get the whole story. Seven is back with Ten at the Warrior training camp Above, and Six is back below, where it is safe with Seven and Ten's baby, Fifty-Two. There's POV's from Seven, Ten, Six, and Jackie; an Outsider, who has been hiding among the Warriors as a spy. Six is trying to blend back in with those down below, and figure out how she wants to proceed with being mated with Nine and her feelings for her female friend, Three, and to top it off, some of Six's memories have been erased of her time at the Outsider's camp, but she still has flashes of feeling and memories every so often, and she doesn't know what to make of them; especially when it seems she may have felt a lot for the Outsider, Jose. Seven and Ten are happy to back together, but they know something isn't quite right in the Above, so they are doing what they can to find out what secrets the government is hiding. The group definitely has some tough situations on their hands, and they are going to need to really show extreme strength to overcome some intense situations, and persevere in battle. I enjoyed all the POV's, but Seven and Ten are definitely my favorite storyline. I love the relationship between Seven and Ten, and how supportive they are of each other, and how much they care and love each other, so I was super happy that there's plenty of Seven and Ten together. I loved how Seven and Ten worked together, and used technology to unravel the mysteries of the government. Part of the Sky was entertaining from the moment it started till the end, and it's bittersweet that the story has come to a conclusion because I'll miss these characters, but I'm satisfied with the conclusion. Plus, Lynne could write some novellas! *fingers crossed*

I’m glad I had this book to keep me company when I needed something familiar exciting to calm me before bed or entertain me between moments of action in my daily agenda. It’s been a pleasure and a comfort to read Ten’s and Seven’s evolving story. I docked one star because I just didn’t feel it was as captivating as the first two. By all means, I plan to read the final installment though. I hope it ends peacefully or with a bang, but I’m sure I’ll be satisfied if the author continues at this rate.

The plot turns back to action and introduces another narrator. I really like how this author is developing her dystopian world from several viewpoints - that plus the characters make this an addictive series!

Interesting

This book was interesting. I like how characters from the first two books are back. I get confused sometimes skipping from point of view to point of view even though it lists the new name. The time and place of the book is definitely interesting to read.

I feel like there isn’t as much descriptive details? Like things happen too quickly and they are said in a very explicit manner. There were times I felt like it was being summarized (obviously exaggerating but everything felt quick). However it is an easy and enjoyable read!

I was so glad to learn that this third book was written. I couldn't wait to find out what was next after the second books ending. It was really well written. It got and kept my attention through the whole book. I started it last night and finished it this morning It flew by for me. There were so many shockers in this story. I couldn't belive what happened to lots of the characters. It was sort of sad for me in a way. I liked the switching points of view so we can get in all their heads as to what they are going through while still moving the story forward. Some parts made me want to cry. The ending left me hopeful for the future life of the dwellers. I really enjoyed this story. You should read this whole series but it must be read in order.

Another fantastic read by Jenny Lynne. The story closed nicely for the trilogy, but it still leaves you wanting more. And I mean that in the best way possible. I would love to be able to read of Fifty-two growing up. What happens after the fall. The world itself is so intriguing that it captures your imagination so vividly. I'll finish with this...if another story came out after this? I'd be the first in line to get it.
Thank you Jenny Lynne for creating this world and allowing our imaginations to run wild.

This book fell short of my expectations. I feel like the War could’ve have potential but it just fell short. The plot gets kind of repetitive as the series continues, so I ended up dnfing the series. I personally would not recommend it. Last thing, the best way I can describe it is a rip off of The Giver and Divergent.

Words cannot explain how much I love this series. This one is my favorite of the series!

Book 3 in The Sky series. Different characters finally get a chance to reveal their side of the story in their own POV’s. Secrets are kept and then revealed and exposed. Bridges are built and then burnt. The vibes are pure perfection.

I was really excited for this book and although it was quite good, I felt like it need more if a conclusion. The characters are complex and interesting and the "war" really comes to a climax but I felt the ending fell short. What happens to them now?
