With This Click, I Thee Wed A fantastic start to a new series. If the rest are even half as much fun as this one was, I can't wait to read them. The characters were easy to connect with - my heart broke with Rachel's uncertainty and I sighed in delight as she and Logan got closer. I loved watching Rachel discover her self confidence and Logan learn to trust again. Highly recommended. IDo.com Alex is a people-pleaser, a condition I'm very familiar with, that comes with a lot of expectations and not a lot of fun. Other than being a bit clueless, Jeremy's a dutiful son and just about perfect. He's one of the sweetest heroes I've read this year. This series has more than it's fair share of terrible parents. I consider it a credit to the author's skill that she's able to write these completely awful people and they come across perfectly natural - this is just the way they're supposed to be. This one hit me where it hurt. I almost feel like I wanted Jeremy and Alex to get their happily-ever-after more than they did. I can't wait to see what's in store for us with the next book in the series. DIY Vows It's sweet and funny and utterly adorable but it frustrated the living daylights out of me. For probably a good three quarters of the book I wanted to take Tyler and Lizzie and shake some sense into them. They were so close to having it all but were both too set in their ways and too afraid to take that extra step to achieve it. It meant that I was kept desperately flipping pages in order to find out how they were going to make it work. Lizzie is this strong, independent businesswoman but her desire to be wanted for who she is leaves her in a heart-breakingly vulnerable position. It took me a while to warm up to Tyler. He starts out as a bit of a jerk and it takes some effort to get him beyond that. I knew that there had to be something worth redeeming, otherwise he wouldn't be the romantic lead. I would have loved the chance to spend more time in his head to get to know him better. There were several times I was hoping for a "Tyler" chapter only to discover that we stayed with Lizzie for another one.
WITH THIS CLICK I THEE WED Divorced and relying on parents for company at new year eve. Which turned into a big discussion of what I should have done with Derek instead of divorcing him. They weren’t even staying, but going on to her sister’s home for a couple of weeks. I replied well maybe I won’t be here, when you do come home. Dad, replied he wasn’t that lucky. What is a girl suppose to do. A text came up on the black screen from Click and Wed. Find your forever. Thinking it was a. little game, and now 2,000 has been paid, and no way to get out of it. What lies ahead for them. CLICK I DO.com Alex folks had her working whenever they needed someone, and no time clock used, she was tired of it all. Her mother had to get ready that day for my wedding, and I was working. Heading toward the church she notices the quote for the day “ are you doing what you want or just for others. Alex tired of jumping through the hoops to please everyone, a last minute act, she leaves it all at the altar. A call telling there was package under the bed,,fifteen minutes, and a taxi will be waiting, and your happiness. She turned the pad on and swipe post-it saying I Click I Do. Her best friend had come thru for her. What laid ahead would be better than what she had been doing. DIY. VOWS Elizabeth thought after the success her friend she would try. She was a handyman and wanted to keep her independence. What she found was a guy wanted his independence and lost a bet. His mother wanted to sell the old house that was a run down disaster. WITH THIS CLICK, I THEE WED ... Bonnie R Paulson. (clickandwed.com #1).
Clickandwed.com is such a lovely way to fill in some time and get a good dose of happily ever after. These books are just the right length to enjoy if you have a busy lifestyle and this one dealt with betrayals that were unexpected. I had to keep reading to see how things would turn out and I wasn’t disappointed.
I DO.COM ... Bonnie R Paulson. (clickandwed.com #2).
I am so falling in love with this series. I feel for Alex as I’m a bit of a people pleaser but I wasn’t ever in Alex’s situation. Her bravery in finally standing up for herself was inspiration. If you’ve read book 1 you’ll know Jeremy has waited quite a while for his match so read book 2 and see how they navigate their journey. Love it!
DIY VOWS ... Bonnie R Paulson. (clickandwed.com #3).
I fell in love with Elizabeth in book 2 so I was excited to see her get her own story. Tyler was a bit of a concern to begin with but I had faith after he looked for her at the airport. You must read the book to see what happened...you won’t be disappointed with any Bonnie R Paulson book and this series is so much fun.
Unbelievably Crappy Parents and Wishy Washy Brides
The brides and sometimes the grooms parents were so horrible it was unbelievable, literally. The grooms sometimes seemed to pick the brides just because of their vocations, so instead of picking a life partner they were looking for someone to do free work. The brides seemed oblivious to a lot of faults they grooms exhibited, like one was strapped for cash and was hoping to get his website deposit back, but he was matched to her so he lost it and he said it in a way to guilt her. He didn't have to accept her, so it was his fault. I will allow some leeway as far as unbelievable and if characters grow from being annoying, but it seemed like they were all just stupid together. Could not finish.
3 stars I purchased a copy of ClickandWed 3 book boxset by Bonnie R. Paulson and this review was given freely 3 women rise above adversity, uncaring controlling families and lonely single lives, marry through ClickandWed.com, persist despite challenging and bleak odds to achieve love and happiness with their appointed match. Diverse contemporary characters with vivid descriptions and satisfying happy endings. Book 1: 4 star Book 2: 4 star Book 3: 2 star
Loved the premise. Plot was good. But I didn’t feel the chemistry between the couples. The relationships needed to grow more for me to buy into it. The characters were under developed and the editing was atrocious. Too many spelling and grammatical errors that should have been picked up before publishing. Lots of good potential but it wasn’t enough to warrant 5 stars.
I've read the first book once before so jumped at the chance of this box set. I must admit the first book is my favourite. The second two stories felt a lot shorter than the first and there was quite a few errors in the last two books. I'm still looking forward to ehoneymoon though.
I enjoyed reading this whole series. It is a novel idea to click on a website and be matched and married. I loved all the steps the couples go through during their 6 months commitment. This is a very heartwarming series and you will enjoy reading all three books in the ClickandWed.com series by Bonnie Paulson.
Great read and very appealing as a read. I enjoyed reading this book on the three couples who met and completed 6 months each of living together and getting to know each other. This was a real learning curve for some who think marriage is easy, when in truth it is very hard work. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
A modern mail order bride twist, take a leap of faith and marry online with someone you have never met but with whom the computer thinks you are well matched! Three stories of women who are not happy with the hand they are being dealt so they opt to do the unbelievable, up and leave. Discovering themselves and love along the way makes it interesting. An enjoyable read.
Good books, very bad editing. I didn’t cringe so much in the first two books, but the third book was really loaded with most of my pet peeve errors. Not a deep theme, and so unlikely, but the stories worked together to a fun read. If you’re not bothered with the editing and like fairytale romances, I recommend.
This is what romance novels are supposed to be! Three great stories with three dimensional characters, dealing with realistic problems, and ending up with a "happily ever after."
I loved all 3 of the books in this set. I loved how the last 2 books were connected also. These are sweet and clean stories which I totally appreciate. I look forward to reading more in the series.
Hesitated with my rating because I really like the first two stories, but found the third story confusing, just not as appealing. It seemed to drag on and on and I did not like the lying they were doing to each other. Hard to feel they finally found each other.
Wow so light hearted but serious business I just fell in love with this series. Not to be missed this new twist between arranged marriage and speed dating. Warning, it's not possible to read in one sitting, I know I tried.
Great story lines, tons of comic relief, and loads of love! I enjoyed these books so much. I love falling in love with love and that's exactly what these books made me do! Excellent writing and stories.
These books remind me of the 90s when online dating first started and was still safe. Enjoyable characters, realistic conflicts and impressive conflict resolutions. Totally would recommend it to anyone
I'm giving this 4 stars... the 1st two books were great. I liked the 3rd book but there were suddenly a lot of spelling errors and it was set where I live and there were a lot of inconsistencies about the location, i.e. weather, names of lakes, etc. and I didn't like that.
I could not put the book down. Excited to meet their matches. The first two books were from the women pov, its interesting to have the man’s and woman’s pov in the 3rd book. Love their romances.
Truly enjoyed these different and fun stories. I like the characters and the different storylines. It is hard to imagine the different circumstances that would bring people to making these unusual choices but it was fun to read about them
Running a modern day mail order bride business can be tricky. Jump inside for three stories, three brides and three grooms and then decide if you could ever do it ~
This series takes the concept of the mail-order bride and brings it into the twenty-first century. The characters are engaging and the story lines fun.
These three books keep you rooting for love. They are great stories which keep you thinking there is love abound for everyone even when you think there isn't.
3 cute mini romances, in one collection. The click to wed idea is fun and original, and the lead characters are presented with many opportunities for growth.
