In the world of competitive sports, adrenaline runs high—and egos run higher.
Some young men can’t check their attitudes without a little help from a coach, a teammate, or a good friend.
Some young men have a secret craving to be kept in line the old-fashioned way.
Two longtime friends discover another side to their relationship during a high stakes table tennis tournament where the loser faces stinging consequences. A talented but lazy college swimmer receives some extra motivation from his coach. A shy, ambitious equestrian experiments with an unorthodox method of stress relief with his trainer, and an arrogant wrestler who embarrasses his mentor during a dinner party finds the tables turned in humiliating fashion.
Bratty or shy, ambitious or indolent, the men in these four tales all end up getting exactly what they need: hard disciplinary spankings at the hands of those who care about them.
An interesting collection. I was pleasantly surprised to find that each story was so different. Seemed like we'd get carbon copies since they were all sports players with a spanking theme, but each was very different in both their sport (not the typical ones like football or hockey) and how things were...delivered. I liked some stores more than others, but overall, they were all well done.
Four tales about spanking, with different levels of success, and none of them really worked for me. I like it when the pain is delivered wit a LOT of love and/or affection, and I did not feel the love.
As always, I enjoy this author's words. I think my favorite was the first story because I do love friends to lovers, but they are all super good. Will re-read.
This delivered exactly what the title said. I thought the author (aka J.A. Rock) did a great job of writing four short stories that introduced the characters and the situation, and then followed through with the discipline.
I actually loved every single story in this anthology! I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. :3 My favourite would have to be a tie between the second and last one.
TO-READ:
Come on, it's J.A. Rock, author of the The Subs Club series! She's like the queen of spanking scenes so of course I have to read this.
Thinking about what I like to read, spanking and the author’s name are definitely on my favorite list. If this would have been individual stories, some of them would have a better rating, but as a whole thing, I guess it didn’t entirely kept my attention that much.
The book is has four stories that, as its name say, connects spanking scenes with sports. Although I love real life sports, I really have a hard time trying to care for sport’s book and that might alter my perception about this one too.
Claiming his Prize was one of my favorite. I think it got something to do with the relationship between the main characters, there was something sweet about it that I really loved. It had the perfect length, not too short but not too long either and with enough time to create a believable plot.
Motivational Tools was also one that I liked a lot. This one had some bratty main character that was impossibly annoying. I didn’t disliked him, but he was frustrating. There was some other nice surprises on this stories, it wasn’t just spanking here, it was really good. I think this was the longest of them all.
A perfect Ride. This was my least favorite, I really can’t say much about it, only that I felt disconnected. It did have some scenes that I enjoyed, but overall this wasn’t really one to keep my attention.
Turning the Tables. I feel a little indecisive about this one. I was a little bored at the beginning, feeling like I was just reading because I wanted to finish the book, but the more I get myself into the story, it got better and better. I’m not really into public activity, but somehow it worked just fine for me.
Overall it was a very entertaining book, it had some ups and downs but I really liked it.
If this is your kink (spanking and domestic discipline), you'll love this collection. Good variety of short stories, different situations, characters, discipline methods, etc. Pretty much exactly as described.
Just a note: while the stories are erotic and may include some sexual contact, there is no actual sex on-page. That may disappoint some readers. I thought it worked fine with the pacing of the stories.
I’m not going to rate this one it just wasn’t what I was expecting, so that doesn’t seem fair. It’s all disciplinary spanking, not pre-organized sexual spanking. No sex or foreplay other than spanking on page or implied during the timeline of the stories (3/4 end by saying sex will happen next).
I didn't realize that this was written by J.A. Rock whose books I've been a fan of for years. This was a quick read perfect for lunchtime. But keep away from prying eyes if at work as it does have naughty scenes that some may be offended by. Me, I loved every bit of it. Give it a go.
Solid collection, I felt the emotional connection more clearly in this one versus In Front of Everyone.
Claiming His Prize - very nice switch spanking between friends. I liked how they were both interested in spanking for different reasons and liked it applied differently; domination versus caretaking.
Motivational Tools - this one got...intense. Resistant swimmer brat who needs to be punished by his coach. On top of the impact play, which was great, there's figging, humiliation, penetration with a blackboard pointer (this verged on scat and was maybe a bit much for me), and an impromptu enema.
A Perfect Ride - equestrian & his trainer, good rapport
Turning the Tables - a brat gets what's coming. My least fave, I didn't really feel the connection here.
Be advised that Motivational Tools and Turning the Tables are NON-CON stories. The struggling victims are sexually abused on public and with participation of the strangers who laugh at them! Extremely disturbed by the fact that the author did not bother enough to make a warning to the readers.
