I have always loved science fiction--books, movies, shows and games. If it involves outer space, even better!

Most of my writing is character-driven, which traces back to my time as a Psych major in college. I love to blend science and fantasy, especially when it comes to metaphysical abilities.

As a full-time author, I currently live in Portland, Oregon, with my husband. When I’m not writing, I enjoy travel, wine tasting, binge-watching TV series, and playing epic strategy board games.

This was a great story, with new characters, and new ways of doing things, though the FDG was there, like an old friend, even though the soldiers involved aren't the ones I've read about so much.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were interesting enough to draw me in straight away, and the plotline kept me glued to the pages.

I like Ava. She's a true kickass warrior, but has great empathy for others which, considering that she's a mind reader, you'd think it would be the opposite - but, instead, she fights for those who can't do so themselves.

I must admit that I was glad that she and Luke got back together, as I think he makes the perfect foil to her personality.

The storyline is really intriguing, and I can't wait to read on to the next book to see if Ava, and her team, will discover the alien home base, but I'm sure there'll be lots of adventures, whatever they find.

I'm very glad that Ava isn't a clone of BA - she's definitely her own person, with a different character to BA - though they both have a very strong sense of self.

Well, according to my reading list, it's on, on, to book three of the Uprise Saga: Veiled Designs - I'm loving this journey, and hope it'll continue for some time yet!

WOW What a great read I Love it takes right off from the prequel Ava Starts to become a Were-Vampire Hochste After Andrea The Vamp slash possessed mad doctor infected her and the FDG is infiltrated and the parasite spirit/nanite beings show themselves revealing just how much they are entrenched and their plan doesn't quite go as planned they didn't think Ava would be as strong as she is I love it the Story flows smoothly and steady no wayward branches that weren't expected Very Well Done Amy DuBoff

January?????Nooooooo!!!!!

Are you a sadist? How can we possible wait that long??? There's an evil ( literal) mastermind out there to disconnect from the universe! Now! Amy, seriously, smack Michael around or something, withhold his coke! Force him to drink Pepsi ! Need more now! I love this new Vampwere form! Added to her obvious Cattitude, mindbending skills and tenacity, what could go wrong? I love this team! They are as Pawsome as Bethany Anne's biotches!!!!! Sooo....Meh....it was ok....Pffft!

Really good addition to this ongoing series!

Mind reading as well as monsters! This series just keeps getting better. It's always fun to get updates on TH and Chars world and the people. My personal favorite of the offshoots of Bethany Annes books, TH is the best. Now I get Amy DuBoff added to the mix. Pure dynamite. Amy, take it and run, you're off to a great start!

Nicely done

I rather enjoy Ava's journey and bringing weres back into the age of expansion. The thing that irritates me is the changing of the covers, I rather liked the originals rather than this abstract cr_p. Ava seemed to do a lot of whining in this issue and bit of catastrophizing. But overall it was a good story.

Wonderful story

Unexpected. This story took an interesting turn with Kurns being infected. Really enjoyed the strength Ava showed in her telepathy against New foes. Waiting to see where this one goes.

Good, exciting

Great twist in this book with Ava. I loved it. Plan to keep reading as long as new Kutherian books keep coming out. This author has added to this universe with more interest in the wares.

Good enough

This was an interesting SF twist. I was a little on edge through out the book and that kept my attention. The main character is weak but perhaps will mature as the sub-series grows.

Lots of action

Another action filled book. Love all the characters and the storyline was great. Looking forward to the next book to see what kind of trouble the team can get into.

The story was well-crafted and I found myself at the end of it in no time. I want to read more. Keeps you on your toes with an ever changing main character. I can't wait to continue reading this series.
