Princess Syalis¨s luxurious lifestyle is wreaking havoc on the Demon Castle¨s budget. Then, when the newly hired demon staff arrive for their orientation at the Demon Castle!complete with a hot springs retreat!!the current staff are loath to admit that they¨ve lost control of their hostage. What will happen when the newbies discover that the ^Scissors Demon ̄ is actually a terrifying, bratty human girl?!
Another fun volume We get to see demon recruitment in this one. Demon Cleric's real name is Leonard, amusing. I quite enjoyed the trip to Kusatsu and the hot springs. More Princess craziness. She really doesn't understand how the world works but occasionally can be kind of sweet. The pillow fight chapter was only okay for me. Overall still enjoying it enough to continue. Nice light reading.
Oooh, this one was really good!! I liked seeing Syalis' interactions with the new recruits, and there was a bit of rom com drama in this volume as well. It was super good. Plus, at the end, Poseidon tells Dawner so I can't wait to see what happens in book 9! 5 stars!
I absolutely love this series. I have yet to be disappointed by a volume, and I frequently find myself laughing out loud like a crazy person at the continuing chaotic antics of the Sleepy Princess in pursuit of even better sleep.
Much better than the previous volume. Syalis is in fire here. The pillow fight during the board meeting was hilarious! The field trip, winning over the new intake of demons, Syalis learning to swim (and the teddy demons helping her, Well everyone helping her!)
This was yet another great volume. It definitely feels like the series is developing into new areas of the story as we continue to develop characters and their relationships while also introducing new elements. The ending of this volume is also particularly cliffhanger like and I am so curious what effect it is going to have on the hero.
Reread: - Here we clearly see that the princess was not a member of any financial cabinets back in her kingdom - It is so bad for these poor demons. They are wrapped so tightly around the princess's finger that they just can¨t see a way out. - The bond the princess has with the teddy demons is absolutely precious - Scissor Demon Alisalis: the princess's alter ego - Character name rundown: The Demon King: Twilight The Furry Dog: Great Red Siberian The Princess: Aurora Sya Lis Goodereste (often called Syalis) The Demon Cleric: Leonard - I love how the princess was trying to have a heart-to-heart important discussion with the demon king and he just could not hear a word she said - Oh Poseidon, I don't think you should have told the hero that.
If you like the series, you'll also enjoy this volume. Our princess continues to wreak havoc for her demonic captors, who desperately try and pretend nothing is wrong. It's cute and funny, and I will continue with this delightful series.
So cute. I loved the orientation retreat. It definitely allowed for some character bonding. I really like how the characters are developing. The illustrations are lovely. I enjoy this series and am really looking forward to the next series.
Definitely, one of the most exciting things in this series. A hot springs arc may be clich└, but only Sleepy Princess can add sauce to this comedic series chapter after chapter. Never stopped laughing in this comedy series ??
