This is an enjoyable read with a drool-worthy Dom, an appealing heroine and a feel-good story line.
Mason Sullivan is dissatisfied with his life, but not sure why everything seems so lackluster. Then he spots Hannah Mills at a slave auction and he knows he needs her.
For Hannah, the auction is a way of tip-toing back into the BDSM scene after escaping a verbally abusive relationship. She wants the release of a scene but has no interest in a committed relationship.
Their weekend together changes everything for both. Hannah must return to her home in Austin, but her thoughts keep turning to the man she left in New Orleans. Mason knows he screwed up by pushing too hard, but can he convince Hannah that they have more of a future together than apart?
Even the secondary characters are charming. Mason’s mom is delightful, as is her husband, and so is Hannah’s best friend.
Overall a delightful standalone story by a talented author.

5 Star Review His to Claim by Sierra Cartwright
I fell hard and fast for Mason Sullivan, also known as the One Night Dom, there was something about him that ticked all my boxes.
Both Hannah and Mason have been badly hurt in the past and neither of them are looking for a committed relationship. However when Mason wins Hannah for the weekend at a charity auction, neither of them realize how their lives are about to change.
As I have come to expect from a book by Sierra Cartwright, His to Claim it was extremely well written and flowed well. Ms. Cartwright has a habit of writing characters with such a great deal of depth and likability that you cannot help but become engrossed in her story telling. I was totally enthralled with His to Claim from the first to the last chapter and found myself disappointed when the book ended.
I loved the sexual chemistry between Mason and Hannah. This was a hot and passionate story filled with angst and emotion. The chemistry between Mason and Hannah is scorching; add in Hannah's naturally submissive personality and this all added up to a gripping story. The flames almost jump off the page as you read. It was heart-warming to watch their love grow throughout this book.
Can Mason and Hannah put their pasts behind them and take a giant leap of faith together to build a future? Or will it all come crashing down before it gets a chance to blossom?

This is the first book in a series about the denizens of an upscale BDSM club in New Orleans. Normally, I provide some information about the plot, but there isn't one. Instead, there are endless details about decor.
This is the second book in this series that I've read and I'm going to bow out. The writing is technically competent; the characters are likeable; and everything is SSC. But, the books are bloody boring: there's no conflict; zero character development; little passion; and so much emphasis on detail that at times I felt like I was reading a how-to manual -- here, as much for houses as BDSM. Is there such a thing as Decorator Porn?

Hannah and Mason have both been hurt in the past so they are very insecure. That doesn't stop Mason from wanting to play with Hannah for the weekend. Hannah has vowed to never give her heart to another man so what happens when the One Night Dom wins her in an auction for the weekend? This was a great story and I love the way the characters are written. Another hit for Sierra Cartwright!

I loved this story right from the beginning. I enjoyed how Hannah put herself back out there after a bad relationship. Mason was closed off as well and had a hard time committing. But once he saw Hannah, he had to have her. Loved it from start to finish.

A hot, sexy and sweet book that proves time does heal wounds

Wow. I was looking for some brain-melting BDSM erotica and I sure did get it. In this less-than-hundred-page erotica novel we have Mason, a mind-bendingly handsome, intelligent, inexpleciably rich, six-packed, deeply hurt and misunderstood man. We also have Hannah, who appears to be a 4 foot 8 wisp of a woman and has the personality of a re-used bounty paper towel. At a BDSM club where apparently you watch other people fuck from a platform above, Mason buys Hannah for 30,000 casual USD. Mason and Hannah spend less than 20 hours together, where they have approximately 15 combined orgasms, meet his mother, explore a BDSM dungeon in the attic (Jane Eyre vibes), and ultimately culminates in Mason asking her to marry him and also offering to hire her.
What's most amusing about this story is the funny little sentences/paragraphs that just jump out at you out of nowhere:
"Without her saying a word, knew what she needed. Upstairs, in his bed, he made sweet love to her." (Lmao, what?)
"The only thing he was certain of right now was that he was looking forward to waking up next to her in the morning. [page break] And so was his insistent dick. [end chapter]"
It's like that a lot.
One star. Kinda hot, not really. Hilarity.

4.5 stars. The book is very well written, as always by Sierra. The feeling of the story itself is different than most BDSM type books, because the couples are both wary of being hurt and a bit tentative in their interactions at first. He almost over clarified and asked permission, yet isn't that how it should be at first? They didn't know each other, and only met when she volunteered for an auction and he was the Dom that bought her. There was instant attraction between them, and their encounters were hot, yet still remained respectful somehow. Because of their powerful attraction to each other, they were both worried they were making mistakes, since each had a failed and hurtful relationship in their past. I loved the interactions between them and his mother. Now, the reason for the .5 star reduction (mild spoiler) is that two people as scarred and hesitant to go into another relationship are going to fall in love and want to get married in just 2 days! On the other hand, they were perfect together, so I am glad it worked out in the end.

This story gives readers an exceptional view into the BDSM lifestyle. Cartwright has given us characters that allow us to understand a lifestyle that not only intrigues us but turns us on. While it might not be your "scene", you most certainly understand its appeal.
Mason and Hannah are both in attendance at The Quarter by an underlying choice neither agreed to. Mason from guilt and Hannah from a fear forcing her to take back her life. Their attraction and submission, from both sides, is overwhelming. Mason offers Hannah safety and comfort while Hannah gives Mason a calmness he never knew he needed. Both have pasts they fear and it causes a hesitation to move forward.
Submission and surrender under different circumstances, dominance and trust, and the circumstances of what ifs give us heat and a different style of romance.

This series is so good! Mason is an instant panty-dropper! He and Hannah were destined to be together forever—only neither of them know it when he steps up and gets the highest bid at a BDSM auction. Both reeling from bad relationships, they see auction as an opportunity to scene for a weekend, then go their separate ways. If that were the case, there’s no story here.
I loved how you got to see the pain Mason and Hannah experienced in their pasts, and understand how it’s shaped them to be the ones you see at the beginning of this book. As the story goes along, you see them both grow, and take the chance to step outside of their comfort zones. There’s so much love in this story, you can’t help but swoon. But, make no mistake, Mason is a Dom, and you just want to drop to your knees when he commands Hannah. This may be my favorite story in the series.

Both Mason and Hannah are broken. Neither of them trusts in love. But for a weekend they can pretend. So what happens when pretense is no longer enough? I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Mason and Hannah. They were broken in different ways but together they have a chance of becoming whole, at least if they can move beyond their fears. The journey Mason and Hannah went on was kinky, sexy and fit them to a "T." Ms. Cartwright showed us the pain both fought even as their chemistry was off the charts. They both tried to hide from themselves and each other but their kink would not allow it. Trust and honesty is necessary for safe and consensual so the battle was handicapped from the start. But I loved seeing them struggle to accept just how well they fit. This story is a well written quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I received this book for an honest review. Sierra Cartwright has a way of bringing her readers in with her strong characters and realistic storylines. What happens when a Master Dom is forced unwilling to attend a BDSM charity auction by his friend, while he had no intention of staying, when he saw Hannah on stage he knew he had to have her. Hannah just left a bad relationship and was nervous about returning to the lifestyle that she craves until Mason bid on her. Now these two people with past heartaches come together for the weekend and find themselves drawn to each other as they face their fears and struggles as he shows Hannah what being a Dom means. You will fall in love with Mason and Hannah as they take this journey together. I highly recommend this book!

The attraction between them wasn’t just physical, though that was there like electric current running between them, but on an emotional level as well. Mason wanted to know everything about her, and she, for once, was more than willing to share with him.

And once they accepted they belonged together, everything fell into place, for them, how they needed it, how they wanted it

Overall, a sexy and emotional read about taking your second chances!

Miss Sierra knows just what my sappy, romantic heart needs to feel happy, and she gave it to me with this book !!! I could pass on months re-reading this book, and I would still want a repeat.
When faith gives you a chance to change the page to all that's wrong in your life (and you didn't realize just how bad it was), will you take the leap or will you back away from it ? well, with Mason and Hanna, I am counting on the leap. But was it an easy one ... well, read the book to find out.
The emotions in to book are real and I was in to many similar situations in life, this struck a cord with me. I loved everything about this book and it will be one of my many Sierra re-reads again this year.

What a romantic story! Some of us need to have broken parts fixed. Yes W/we need to fix O/ourselves, it doesn't hurt to fix others while W/we do so.
This was such a beautiful story of growth, love, fear, courage! Mason was the perfect Master for Hannah! T/their connection is amazing & T/their play is so exciting & beautiful!
Sierra is a great writer of romance & BDSM! The best part of a story like this is that it happens in real time. i've watched people do it for years! A BDSM relationship can be the most intimate relationship a P/person can have. If you put the energy & effort into it. Also finding the partner is important.
Anyway, enjoy this story. It's beautiful, enlightening, endearing.

After being in a abusive relationship with her ex-Dom. Her BFF talked her into being auctioned off in a slave charity event.
Mason’s charity is having slave auction and even though he usually avoids the events but after the owner off the dungeon mentions he keeps missing event he comes to the slave auction just to show his face.
When the event starts Mason try’s to leave but as soon as Hannah comes on to auction block Mason can’t leave. Hannah accepts a weekend with Mason but Hannah has a lot of boundaries because of her ex Liam.

Mason’s charity is having slave auction and even though he usually avoids the events but after the owner off the dungeon mentions he keeps missing event he comes to the slave auction just to show his face.
When the event starts Mason try’s to leave but as soon as Hannah comes on to auction block Mason can’t leave. Hannah accepts a weekend with Mason but Hannah has a lot of boundaries because of her ex Liam.

A new book by Sierra Cartwright and it takes place in the New Orleans in the same world as the Titan’s series, but it is a standalone.
Mason isn’t planning to buy anything at the auctions until he sees Hannah. Hannah is looking for a save and commintfree way to ease back into the BDSM world.
Both of them carries scars from previous relationship with them and the strong feelings they have for each other makes for two people who are scared and insecure. Will they take the chance?
My favorite part of the book where actually the scenes with the house and involving Mason’s work. Those scenes really showed the way Mason and Hannah connected.

A thoroughly entertaining standalone. Jaxon and Willow from Sexiest Millionaire (I've read all the Titans - grab them, they're great) make a showing but Jaxon is just using his charisma to play auctioneer for the charitable auction. Hannah and Mason are perfect foils for each other. Though both have suffered in the past, this chance meeting offers them both a chance at happiness. There are some great scenes but I found that the story itself was my focus. I loved all the characters in this book both the primary and the support characters. The characters' interactions are absorbing and real. I totally recommend reading this book.

Not so much about Titans as about the Quarter club. Two heroes badly damaged by prior relationships so much so they fear commitment. Heroine actually more so than hero to be fair. Although it wouldn't be fair to say he suffered less due to being a man and a Dom but he is more brave to risk it again. Story would probably be counted as first sight love one - as everything happens in a course of a weekend. Still I liked it very much. Sierra Cartwright is one of my favorite writers on BDSM topic as she makes it about feelings more than she makes it about flesh. And she makes it very good.

Sweet. Lemonade sweet, not sugar sweet, which is the difference between believable and trying too hard. Despite the beginning, which i thought was a good set up for a story, the book really has a truth to it. You can put yourself in their shoes and know, this is how i would respond too. We are all a little broken by the time we reach our forever that glues us back to whole again. It was a refeshing and light read that didnt turn the dominant into a submissive, which I think happens sometimes. I really really liked it and I think you will too.

Wow, this story is hot! Mason is called upon to participate in an Auction at The Quarter, one of New Orleans must exclusive BDSM club. There he sees Hanna and he has to claim her. Hanna is not looking for commitment, she is looking to step back into the lifestyle and her friend Fiona talked her into participating into this charity auction. Both have past luggage that keep them from moving forward, but can they heal each other? Can they make themselves whole again ? This is a great story, full of intensity and pain and alos a lot of tender moments within . I voluntarily reviewed this arc.
