The best stories are those that you have to reread immediately after reading it the first time, because you just can't quite say goodbye to them yet... This short novella is one of those books for me. The writing is gorgeous, the characterisation subtle and the length gives it a punch.

The English title of this novella is Emerald, though it only seems to be available in a bind-up with more works by the same author (Yay! More works by this author! Need to run to the bookstore now!)
