In the midst of a war, a child is born during a bloody battle at the cost of his mother's life. From this baby comes forth a huge and powerful dragon born of Shadow. Within minutes the dragon lays waste to the landscape, but a quick-thinking knight locks the baby in a cage of darkness, where he grows to be a young man, knowing only the kindness of his young female tutor. Until the day the Shadows attack and he is set free...
Hot on the heels of Ganette, a fellow Fusion Type on the same warpath to Opsquria's castle, Ral's ego leads him to make reckless mistakes. Alienated from his companions and racing ahead on his own, he heads straight into the enemy's sticky trap. Without the guidance of his tutor Mio, can he overcome his pride before it costs him everything--even his own life?!
...I was half right with my last assessment...half wrong. Slightly disappointed... Ral, I know you're only 15 and lack impulse control...but up until this point you've shown you're smarter than that.
Anyway, shenanigans... gimmicks... 'I hate you more' slapstick... and we're back to the original plan And another shocking ending to keep the audience reading... but with the way the last one resolved, I'm not exactly holding my breath.
2.5 stars There was much less sexual content, excluding the villain bits. And there was much more plot which is what I actually enjoyed. Plus, this has the Power of Friendship which I enjoy immensely. Miss Mio ended up younger than I thought but I didn’t like that I could see that I'm supposed to ship Ral and her and it still made me uncomfortable.
