You have to build things with limited time and a limited budget. How do you make the most of both? Not only that, but how do you get confidence and clarity in what you're going to build and how you're going to build it? Whether you're a startup founder or the head of a corporate product team, you need the right strategies and tools to give your team the best chances of building products and services that give you a competitive advantage.
Loops is the practical guide you need to get products out of your mind's eye and into the real world. Seasoned product strategist and experience designer J Cornelius covers the processes, exercises, and methodologies used by some of the world's fastest-moving and most successful startups and corporate product teams to get out in front and stay there. This book will give you the tools you need to create products people love.
The book is filled with practical ideas for launching and iterating on tech products. The author's writing style is approachable and easy to understand. However, most of the insights offered are regurgitations of design thinking and other methodologies that are covered in more depth in other books and resources. Overall, not a bad read but not the best either.
Great overview of how to start a tech company and do so responsibly without investing too much money or time before you've proven that customers want what you're selling.
A nice, quick and informative read about product and business design. If you’re looking for a refresher with some good, new perspective and some neat new tricks, or an intro to the product development process, I can easily recommend Loops. It’s like the Lean Startup with more accessible and actionable advice and a lot less smoke and mirrors.
The writing style of the author is wonderful. It's so easy and interesting to read, however I don't feel that I find out something new that I didn't know before about product building. Yes, author has his own take from long experience building products, but I don't feel that this books provide much value, at least for me.
J. provides a thorough walkthrough of the development process from problem to product to brand, offering accessible and great actionable advice and insight along the way.
