It was a walk down the memory lane...I remembered most of the things but since this compilation has implemented bonus scenes, the whole experience had a bright new shine to it and it made it more complete in a way.
I read all of these books as they came out, I loved them so much that when the complete series came out, I had to purchase it and read them again.
This is a well written story with wonderful characters and full of action.
Colton is a race car driver, has demons and lives a playboy life. Rylee is a social worker and has a tragic past and has dedicated her life to helping traumatized orphans. Together Colton, Rylee and the orphans take you on a roller coaster ride full of pain, love, drama, action and trauma that keeps you on the edge of your seat. From one chapter to the next something is making you hold your breath and making you want to jump in the book and help.
I started with the tv show, but it finished just like book 1 with a huge cliffhanger. I hate reading books after watching the tv or move. BUT this one I can’t get enough of. It was dark, light, happy, sad, angry, and so much more. I can’t get enough and will be buying this series for sure!!!
This is a contemporary race car romance. I’m so mad at myself for waiting so long to read this series! Books 1-3 is the complete trilogy of Rylee and Colton. Book 4 is pieces of 1-3 but in Coltons POV, and book 5 is a novella. If you read the complete series version, Coltons POV is incorporated throughout the first 3 books & I LOVED it done that way!
Rylee is social worker and Colton is a professional race car driver. They meet by chance at a fundraiser for Rylee’s work. Colton is used to women throwing themselves at his feet so he is intrigued by the stubborn woman who turns him down. Colton has a rough past that leaves him closed off and an avoidance to commitment. Rylee’s heart is too big for casual so you can imagine the impasse they are at.
This book hits so many emotions. It’s very relatable and just so incredible. The book is so well written and the ‘scenes, ehem, are HOT! The dirty talk can sometimes be cringe-worthy or over the top, but it was definitely not the case in Driven!
I fell in love with both Colton and Rylee, as well as some of the side characters; especially Becks! The side characters all played important roles without being overpowering to the storyline.
Seriously such an amazing series and instantly went to one of my all time faves!
This has become one of my all-time favorite series, if not my favorite. I discovered the books after seeing the series/ movie starring Casey Deidrick, which ended on a major cliffhanger. I had to read to see what happened next and ultimately devoured this entire series in less than a week. It, on the surface is your typical "toxic bad boy swears off commitment but is changed by the love of a good woman" trope. But K. Bromberg does a magnificent job of developing characters and delving into childhood trauma and healing from it in a realistic and engaging way. It isn't just "I love you" and they all become perfect and live happily ever after. They continue to struggle and grow with one another. The supporting characters are so well built you will subsequently dive into their spin-off novels, too. My only disappointment, which has nothing to do with the books and everything to do with the movie adaption, is that Casey was unable to do the sequels and so they found a different actor to play Colton. Nothing personal on the new guy, but Casey WAS Colton, and I just couldn't connect to the new guy in the role. I would have loved to see Casey play out Colton's character arc on screen.
This book literally got me hooked reading. I am a sucker for grumpy/sunshine, broken with a past, billionaire romance. Especially when the man is a playboy only to have a woman come in and make him want to be better. My heart broke for Colton as he had All this built up anger and self doubt assuming no one could ever love him. He used s*X as an outlet thinking it would numb this empty feeling. But then he stumbled across Rylee who didn’t back down and didn’t put up with his BS. I know a lot of people may think their relationship is toxic but honestly it was at first but I feel like once he got past his past and began to heal from what his mother allowed him and Rylee were able to move forward as well. This still one of my favorite reads and will forever love Colton and Rylee. I also loved that it was turned into a movie series by Passionflix. If you haven’t read this download it now and if u haven’t watched it on Passionflix go watch it now as well. ❤️
I read A LOT of books and have rarely encountered two such REAL and complex characters as Colton and Rylee. Their individual and relationship journeys are on a level rarely found in the romance genre. Their issues aren’t immediately solved by a literary “silver bullet but by painful introspection, reluctant reliance on others, and an authentic “one step forward, three steps back process. Their story is made more compelling because they have to fight so many demons to reach their HEA, and the eventual vanquishing of those demons isn’t always all wrapped up in a pretty bow, but often messy the way real life is. I’d recommend this series to anyone who’s tired of formulaic storylines and character tropes. Prepare yourself for a rough ride as Colton and Rylee try to capture their “checkered flag.
K. Bromberg’s Driven series is so good! It is a must read!
Colton Donovan seemingly has it all: he’s a racing legend, girls love him, and he has an amazing family. Riley has been living in grief since two years ago when she lost her fiance and unborn child in one horrifying accident. Colton doesn’t believe in love. Riley can’t move on. When they collide, Colton tells her he can never offer her more, which she believes in having. When he finally gives in, he realizes he can never tell her everything - she won’t want him anymore. When tragedy strikes, Riley proves that she will be there for everything, no matter what.
This was a super sweet and hot story of two people who had tragic pasts. Watch as they each work through those pasts to build a life together.
I would like to say there in this huge omnibus that I thoroughly enjoyed all of the books, but I can’t.
I think the first two books for the best of all of the five books. I was very invested in the relationship that the characters were going through, and all of their ups and downs in trying to figure out themselves while navigating a relationship.
But it just became so redundant and while they did have a happily ever after, I just didn’t care after the fourth book. But even in the fourth book, I was totally losing steam because there wasn’t enough drama for me.
Other than that this entire series is going to be a recommendation if you do like NASCAR sports romances in an arrogant hero, who is afraid of commitment, but find the right woman to commit to.
“Just because it's not what you're expecting doesn't mean it's not everything you might need.

Driven Fueled Crashed Raced Aced 5 books. Almost 800 pages. REALLY tiny font. But how could I not?
@passionflix trapped me with Seasons 1 & 2 (Driven & Fueled) with the battle, passion, desire, & connection of Rylee & Colton. Then left me on a cliffhanger. So, I had to buy the collection to see what happens. Holy crap! Each chapter, each book, got better & better. The growth of each character brought you even further into their story creating the drama & love that developed through each page. I can’t wait for the story to unfold on the screen. 10/1/21

If you haven’t read this series - or if you have and you’re ready for a reread - then this boxset is the best way to do so. I actually recently reread each novel individually as I hadn’t realised that the author had penned and added bonus chapters to the boxset. I couldn’t not grab The Complete Driven Series to read these extra chapters, especially as we learn Colton’s thoughts and feelings regarding some important times during his and Rylee’s journey. I am so pleased I took the time to do this!!
This is an incredible series from start to finish, and I highly recommend that you read Colton and Rylee’s story.
Every time I read this series, I love it even more! I love that Kristy compiled it all together, and included the Raced chapters from Colton’s POV in the right places chronologically, as well as the bonus scenes. This makes a reread much simpler and more seamless. Colton and Rylee never disappoint! And the books are being turned into movies by Passionflix! Driven is done so far, and was awesome!
If you start to read it, you are not going to be able to stop. And you are going to love it and hate it (I am not trying to repeat something from the book but...). Mostly you are going to be so obsessed and in love and overwhelmed. The last time I was invested in a book like this was in highschool. I felt everything with them. I lived with them, loved with them, and lost with them. It was a hell of a ride. And I race it so much!!!!
Wow! Stunning! Beautiful! What did I just read!?!?! K Bromberg you have a new fan! I cussed you out, I cried, I walked away, I cheered, I loved! Holy cow! Whew! Breathe ..... I never wanted it to end, but man did I want a happy ending for Rylee and Colton and Ace. I will take them with me for a very long time! 🔥💛🔥🧡🔥💛🔥🧡. Thank you for a wonderful ride.
Absolutely loved the Driven Trilogy! I watched the first portion of the books on Passionflix and fell in love with the characters so I decided to read all the books before watching part 2 and I am so glad I did! You’re heart will break for all Colton and Rylee have suffered, endured and overcome in their lives. The passion between them is off the charts!
This is one of my favorite series!! I love seeing the growth of Colton and Rylee and their love. Through the good abs bad times they stuck it out and fought for each other 💕
This is about the fourth time I’ve read the Driven series but first with it all together like this. And of course it’s absolutely wonderful! This is one my all time favorite series!
watched driven on passion flicks 1st had to get the books
I bought the complete driven series set and glad I did because Broomberg had added additional chapters in there which gave or at least Added to The story. She will now become one of my “favorite authors.
Great storylines. Loved the characters throughout the books. Look forward to the next standalone book slow burn. My sister recommended the series. I will definitely recommend to my friends. One of the best reads in a long time.
