"As if sleeping with the enemy wasn't disastrous enough..."
For Camryn Cox, living a private, purpose-driven, drama-free life is a top priority. And in her opinion, Maverick Woods represents everything opposite of that.

He's social media-famous, ultra fine, and completely irresponsible, making him something like the enemy as far as Camryn is concerned. But everything changes when a surprise moment of passion between the two of them results in a positive pregnancy test.

Oops! was sooooooooo cute! The story line was incredibly enjoyable as were the characters. Camryn and Maverick were adorable. They had so much chemistry right from the jump. 90% of the time Maverick worked Camryn’s nerves but, she could not deny her attraction. I completely understood why she fought it. Maverick was the poster child for a rich immature party boy who didn’t take much of anything seriously. Camryn was the complete opposite and couldn’t fathom being with someone like that. But, after their little oops moment, Maverick really came through on his grown man tip and showed his maturity. I love how their relationship progress naturally throughout Camryn’s pregnancy and they were able to fall in love so organically. These two really were the cutest couple. There were so many LOL moments and the supporting cast was just as equally funny. Andria is the BFF we all deserved. She kept it real and served up the truth whether Camryn wanted to hear it or not. Oops! was romantic, sweet, and funny. I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone.

I have wanted to read this book FOR SO LONG yall. And I finally did. Alexandra Warren really did create the enemies to parents romance we didn't know we needed. This has one of the most amazing relationship developments ever. The way these two didn't really have anything in common at the beginning but obviously had that attraction. To go from there to cozy date nights watching movies, family dinners, sexy text messages, doctor appointments with tears on sight. You get everything in this novel.

description

Maverick is a very famous person. He posts selfies on instagram, goes out to parties as a job, and his mother is Black Hollywood royalty. Camryn works in his family's company but that's it. She finds him so annoying and wishes he stays away from her. But that doesn't erase the attraction these two have. And one faithful night these two... well, they have sex. Without protection. Next thing you know Camryn is pregnant and Mav is the father!!! When they both thought nothing would happen between them after sleeping with each other, now they find themselves in a situation where it's possible that they will be in each other's future. As a parent to their unborn child. But Mav wants more and thinks that Cam too if only he could make her see that together, this partnership, will be invincible.

This was so cute and steamy! Both Maverick and Camryn have a great dynamics but I kinda crave for more? More of their interaction, their character development, just everything. I feel like the story was kinda slow for my liking and it was focused more on the dynamics between two characters rather than them as individual.

For a romance book, Oops! has the fluff and stuffs, but I also feel like this lacks drama—if you know what I mean. But, maybe it's just me expecting for full-of-drama book. Overall, it's a good book!

Really charming and funny in the beginning, but it slowly drifted off towards the end when their drama repeated over and over again. It was still a really cute read, just more focused on the characters and not the pregnancy (if you're looking for a typical pregnancy trope read).

This was such a good book...I love the banter and back and forth between Camryn and Maverick...Camryn worked for Maverick's Actress Mothers' Charity. Maverick was a spoiled self-absorb social media influencer. The two (2) of them are definitely attracted to each other, but Camryn is set on down playing her feelings. One night the two of them finally got together for some unplanned unprotected sex...which, eventually resulted in a positive pregnancy test. After finding out he's going to be a father, Maverick is set on proving to Camryn that he's ready to be a father and even ready to be the man that she wants and needs. I love how the relationship between Camryn and Maverick eventually developed and the couple finally fell for each other, A really cute romance!

ok oops

This is good writing. It has a very authentic real world feel to the course of events, well except for the oops, but I mean it could happen. It was just the mostly lighthearted sweet romance break I needed.

Estuvo ligero pero me dio fastidio lo cursi que se pone, los personajes estuvieron interesantes y para pasar el rato estuvo bueno. No creo que esté leyendo más de esta autora en el futuro porque no me gustó mucho su escritura.

No love.

No marriage.

Just baby.

Couldn't finish it!! But try and judge for yourself.

I couldn't do it. I couldn't finish it.There were so many unessecary details. The characters weren't described well enough. I gave it 3 stars cause I didn't think it was fair to rate less if I didn't read the whole thing. The story line was good, but I guess it was pretty predictable how it was gonna turn out. I do think this story is perfect for young adults maybe late teens to early 20s. I'll definitely read more from this author and see what else she got out there

This story was so funny. I really enjoyed this storyline and the characters. I like how this story included the social media that is so prevalent in today’s society.

🥰

Camryn and Maverick pretended way too hard that they did like each other- I could see between those lies, lol. This was a really cute story on what happens when one night of steamy passion is shared. Camryn would have never guessed that she would be having a baby with Maverick but it happened. I think both characters responded appropriately to the news and I will say I was pleasantly surprised with Maverick. He had the ultimate glow-up for me because his behavior prior to the news, I just knew he would give Camryn a run for her money. I think the big thing was that Maverick wanted to be better than the father that he never had. Camryn was pretty headstrong and independent but she surprised me with how quickly she gave in to being with Maverick. Throughout the book I had a good share of laughs and times when my heart was swooning over something that the characters did. I think the whole play on social media and the way it can effect relationships was super realistic and i like how Maverick was always honest with Camryn no matter what the media said. I so enjoyed this book. Good read, couldn’t put it down! ❤️

The book I didn't know I needed. Prior to this book I have only read Wins and Losses by Ms. Alexandra Warren. That situation will be rectified immediately!

Camryn Cox was an on her ish black woman. She works at a foundation for Meredith Woods and she comes into contact regularly with her son, social media influencer Maverick Woods. Their chemistry was off the charts. They had some major bumps in their relationship but they handled it like adults. They didn't feed off drama and had a supportive circle of friends and family. I appreciate a good romance without unnecessary drama. A perfect grown-up romance.

Very cute story with funny moments. For the most part I liked the couple but the hero lost a couple of cool points with me because of his sexual carelessness.

It was nice to see their relationship progress over the course of months, with them learning to trust each other and become accepting of the baby they'd created together.

“Oops features one of my favorite tropes which is enemies to lovers. I have to say that the accidental pregnancy storyline/ plot is not one that I usually gravitate towards but I’m so glad I decided to read it. The characters were cute. I loved the constant push and pull between them. I also really enjoyed the growth and character development that they both went through throughout the book. This book also featured some laugh out loud moments. I finished “Oops in one sitting and immediately had to continue with the spinoff, Whoa.

Maverick and Camryn were laugh out loud good together. Nothing like an unexpected pregnancy to test what you're really made of.

Their friends as well as their parents were hilarious as well!

This was such a cute, hilarious, and steaming hot book. I liked all the characters in it, really mature and all. Camryn and Maverick are just the most adorable couple ever. Camryn’s parents are the coolest and her best friend is so funny and supportive. Overall, I liked everything. I will 100% recommend this book and plan on reading more by this author. I listened to the audiobook and it was perfect. Loved the narrators.

This book definitely was a slow burn in my opinion. Portraying not to like one another, Maverick and Cameryn seem to become acquainted. Aside from work related activities that is. An accidental pregnancy occurs and they have to decide on which route to take. Unexpected events can lead to beautiful endings.

Camryn is a hard-working girl who has no time for Maverick’s self-absorb lifestyle of the rich and famous. As her boss’s son, Maverick is constantly running into Camryn but it isn’t until the night of a big charity event that things change between them.

Camryn would be lying if she said Maverick wasn’t attractive, but his generous contribution to a cause that was near and dear to her heart has Camryn letting down her guard and allowing herself one night with him. She doesn’t have time to get involved in any of his ongoing drama as a social media influencer, but a few weeks later and a positive pregnancy test details those plans!

Now Camryn has to decide if she’s willing to let Maverick be there for her, and trust that he’s ready to step up to the plate! Honestly, I was expecting a lot more drama, but this was a pretty sweet romance. I love how Camryn and Mav slowly fall for each other during quiet nights spent away from the spotlight. A really cute romance!

Rep: Black MCs, bi side character, Black side characters

I enjoyed it as much as I expected. This was very easy to read, I didn’t struggle with the story or the unexpected pregnancy trope as much as I thought I would though. Some parts were a bit repetitive, some chapters disconnected from each other and there was an immoderate use of the n-word and all its variants. Overall it was an enjoyable read, the main characters acted almost always in a mature way and had no problems communicating, a thing I really appreciated, even though I usually prefer the avoidable miscommunication trope.

Adorable little story! LOVE the chemistry between Maverick and Camryn. But feels like I couldn't find the climax of the story. Because there's not really a major obstacle in the story, the plot feels quite flat to me. However, I do love the supportive side characters like Andria and Maverick's twin sister. The baby completely changes the relationship between Maverick & Camryn and it's quite adorable! Nevertheless, it's a perfect little story to read if you're into cheesy couple romance stuff! :)

Another banger!

I wanted to pimp slap Maverick so many times in the beginning of this book, which lets you know Alex wrote the heck out of these characters. The evolution that Maverick and Camryn went through was beautiful. Even though Camryn seemed more evolved and mature, she also had some growing up to do. I didn’t want this book to end!

I really liked this book. I liked how raw and real the characters felt and I loved how sweet their relationship was. I also liked the element of a rich playboy nepo baby and someone who works for his family getting together. Their dynamic and banter was really fun. I also loved the elements of showing just how easy it is to create a false narrative based on pictures and how crazy some fanbases act. I feel like this book took too long of a time to get Camryn and Maverick together. I also don’t like that we didn’t get to read Mav tell his aunt and mom about the baby. I’m less upset about us not getting to see Camryn tell her close friends but I feel like her birthday celebration was a huge copout to get the news out of the way. This felt really rushed towards the end. I don’t know if I’m missing something or if this was a continuation error but there was one scene where they were at a private movie theater then out of nowhere they were in her bedroom and there were some other scenes that transitioned oddly and confused me. Most times I dislike smut in books but the material in this book wasn’t off putting to me throughout most of it. I hated the “turn my baby into a cannibal line like oh that’s not Overall, an enjoyable book. I liked being able to see their relationship blossom and ending on an engagement and baby number two. I’ll be reading Whoa. next.

Oops

This was such a cute and fun story. Mav and Cam had so much chemistry from the start but I could totally understand why she had a poor view of him in the beginning. On the surface he was definitely the poster child of an F Boy. Beyond the surface he was everything Cam never knew she needed! Great read!

Ugh It Was So Darn Good

I absolutely loved everything about this story. I don’t think I could find a single flaw. I was locked in from the moment Camryn and Maverick’s dynamic was introduced. Such a good read.

This was such an enjoyable read I couldn’t put it down! The story was so charming and engaging that it felt like it should be made into a cute rom-com. It was truly a page turner from start to finish.
