I do.

Two words.

How can they feel so right when they fall from my lips, and yet taste wrong at the same time? It's true what they say about the hand that gives. It also gives no s**ts, and tries to take away just as much.

Can I have my cake, and eat it too? Can I keep them all?

Shakespeare says the path to true love doesn't run smoothly, and he's never been more right.

What happens when your future, and the past you knew nothing about, collides? All whilst our demons threaten to consume us.

So many questions, and just when you start to get some answers, more take their place.

History has a funny way of repeating itself, for better or worse, and we're just all along for the ride.

Rosa Lee lives in a sleepy Wiltshire village, surrounded by the beautiful English countryside and the sound of British Army tanks firing in the background (it’s worth the noise for the uniformed dads in the local supermarket and doing the school run!).

Rosa loves writing dark and delicious whychoose romance, and has so many ideas trying to burst out that she can often be found making a note of them as soon as one of her three womb monsters wakes her up. She believes in silver linings and fairytale endings...you know, where the villains claim the Princess for their own, tying her up and destroying the world for her.

If I could rate this 0⭐️ I would. The 1⭐️ is going to the font on the front cover. That’s it!!
I have never and I mean never disliked an FMC as much as I have HATED her!! I dislike her MORE than most villains/bad guys/enemies in most of the other books I have read!!!

I have never come across a FMC as selfish, self centred, self righteous, self absorbed as this and I will quote what she always bloody says, Twatwaffle!!! I have never read a book where I wish there wasn’t a HEA because of how much I disliked a character.
If I wanted to talk about all the things I HATED about this book I could write more then a 5k word essay on it! But I’ll focus on just 1.

This FMC (who I won’t even bother to address by name as I can’t stand her) never not ever does anything for or in consideration of the men she claims to love. The guys have such horrific traumas and the way their issues get brushed aside is actually disgusting.

One of the MMCs constantly gets pushed aside and not thought of and if he does it’s as an afterthought.

Now I love spice in a book but it’s too much, and not good. It’s the same constant cliches, same descriptions, same same same.

By now the FMC must be rocking a KFC bucket!

Imagine you have made a list of everything and cliche and trope and event and trauma and drama that has happened in a dark romance or why choose or BDSM and throw it all together. That’s what this book is.

The only reason why I finished it is because 1 I am buddy reading this series and 2 I was an idiot and purchased the paperbacks months ago and it’s too late to return them.

Don’t even get me started on the stupid inner monologues, the ridiculous outfit descriptions, HER VAJISTEY (shoot me now if I hear that 1 more bloody time), just all of it.

What’s even more stupid is that it could have had more potential if these characters weren’t bloody 17!!!!!!

If you ever want to perform torture onto someone one, make them read these books!!!

Hell yeah. I am loving this series. It is jam-fuckin-packed Full of delicious smut.
Plus, though it’s pretty slow going, I’m really enjoying trying to figure out the plot.
It’s mysterious and there’s tons of secrets to uncover in the last book.

The characters are all super lovable. I love the humor and the bratty mischief from the FMC(and Loki😉).
The kinks that were mentioned in the TikTok that drew me into this series are finally popping up and developing more.

And that ending! Ugh!
I can’t say I didn’t see that coming since the very beginning, but fuck.
I’m so looking forward to getting answers in the 3rd book.

Super spicy, I mean this second book delves more into the relationship- which means holy crap so much spice! But also this does go into each of the Knights, what they had to go through, what’s still hanging over their heads. It was emotional mixed in with the spice- but read triggers as this one will get you.

Alright I loved the spice and the rope bondage but the heroine was annoying and if the heroine is trash, I can’t get past the rest 😬

DNF at 63% because of accidental pregnancy trope

One day I will learn I need to look up triggers before I read a book...or characters will remember that abortion is a viable option.

I was excited to read this, as I loved the first book and love these MCs and their relationships. Overall, I enjoyed this. I loved the writing, the MCs, their relationships and how supportive, loving, and protective they are with each other, the humor, the steam (although there was a lot of steam in this, it was never boring. Just like the first book, all the sex scenes were different and interesting, which was impressive, because usually, when books have this much steam, it can start to feel redundant, but that wasn’t the case here), the multi POV (but it mostly being in the FMC’s POV), the MM (yay! I always find RHs more realistic and interesting with MM), the story (for the most part), the pacing, the mental health struggles and grief rep, Willow (loved her and Lilly’s friendship), and I loved that we got to learn more about Kai in this (although the scene about his past broke my heart) and some Ryan and Lexi scenes as well. For the most part, this kept my attention, and I really loved the first half or so, but once the pregnancy came into play, I started to lose some interest and skimmed the end. I’m not a fan of pregnancies or babies in books, and I tend to avoid books that include them before the epilogue. I had a feeling this book would include an unplanned and kept pregnancy, since there was an unprotected sex scene at the end of the first book and just the way it was written gave me a feeling this was the direction things were going, so I wasn’t surprised by the pregnancy, but I was disappointed. Just has to do with personal preferences. Not the book’s fault. Preferences aside, although I didn’t enjoy or like this part of the story, I think it was well written and included in a way that felt authentic to the story and characters. I get why things went this way, but I just wish it had gone in a different direction. I think I was hoping this would have more action and suspense, more scenes and insight into the Black Knight corporation and their history, and more scenes of the MCs kicking ass and taking names lol. It felt too sweet to me at times. I kept waiting for some more edge or conflict or darkness; there were a few scenes like this, but I was left wanting more. Also, I was hoping there would be a “rubber duck scene with Ash, so I was a little bummed when it never happened. Overall, this was a fun read, especially the first half, and it was well executed in terms of continuing the story, thickening the plot, strengthening the MCs relationships, and showing them deal with and discuss their trauma, which I really liked. Unfortunately, the pregnancy and forced wedding stuff didn’t really interest or work for me. I’ll still read the third and final book though, as I’m curious to see how things play out.😊

Honestly the only thing stopping me from 5 stars is the writing. It is so Wattpad coded it hurts my fucking soul,I can honestly vividly remember reading a book just like this on Wattpad when I was 8 hiding under the covers at 2am. The amount of times you put the word hashtag in dialog should actually be illegal. Like who in the actual fucking world says hashtag in their regular vocabulary. I have never read something so millennial coded than that dialogue. Also psa, STOP WITH THE VAGISTY SHIT, ITS NOT FUNNY ITS JUST CRINGY LITERALLY NO ONE IS LAUGHING, NOT A SINGLE PERSON, IT IS DEAD FUCKING CRICKETS OUT HERE, I COULD HEAR MY OWN HEARTBEAT ITS SO QUIET. But, I do love the characters, they are so sweet and the plot is super entertaining but like cmon wtf

Holy Crap, "Bound" Blew My Mind!

OMG, "Bound" seriously messed with my head I had freaking butterflies for like 20 freaking chapters! This book is hands down the spiciest thing I've ever read, and damn, I'm loving every damn minute of it.

The mystery had me guessing, the characters? Oh man, their development is as good as it gets. And can we talk about Loki? He's my freaking book boyfriend now that boy is just too much. And Lilly? She's wild in the best damn way.

For all you spicy girls out there, get your hands on this series it's a wild ride, I swear! 😜

Book 2 - started this one because I was too mad at Tory Vega to keep reading Zodiac Academy.

So I’m not the biggest fan of the pregnancy trope and unfortunately this book is not the exception. Also, these people are 17 & 18? Theyre written like they should be way older and I’m unsure how I feel about that. But here’s to hoping Lilly gets her happy ending and the boys get their revenge. On to book 3.

Okay so spice aside....so not a fan of the pregnancy trope anyway, so that on top of multiple partners and especially in the school setting....just no... too much. Really wish it went in a different direction.

OMG what a book series so far. I hate the boys fathers so freaking much and I really hate her uncle for doing that to her at the end of the book. Happy moment from the book is that is going to have a baby and that she get to fall in love with each the boys one on one so precious and I love that she got to know more about her mom and that she got to get married to one of the guys she would do anything for. Already on the third book.

I'm so thrown off by all the 5 star reviews. I did read all 3 books and am posting the same review under all 3 as a general review of the series.

First, the characters are all 17 or 18 and the main character gets pregnant at 17 because she's banging 4 dudes like 5 times a day without being on birth control. It gave me the ick. I don't see why the characters couldn't be college aged rather than high schoolers.

The main character is ridiculous. She dresses like a toddler and the author is constantly referencing what brands she wears rather than just describe the clothes. And so many IRL songs referenced.

With fantasy books, you can suspend disbelief, but with a book like this, there are so many events that just don't make sense.

A new girl at school? Well, we're out of dorms so she's going to have to stay in a dorm, unsupervised with the 4 hottest dudes, who she is going to bang immediately. Party's on school grounds? Don't forget the servants passing out drugs and people literally having orgies. Caught in the school library having sex? No worries, the librarian thinks its funny. Oh, you're watching one of your boyfriends in an underground cage match? Have someone finger bang you in the crowd to push him over the edge and when he wins, scream at everyone to clear out so you can bang in the ring (and they do! Who is running this event? Where did the vendors go, did they leave all their stuff? lol).

The amount of sex they have is insane. So much so that I was skimming past it looking for the non-existent story. The sex scenes were pretty short and a bit repetitive. I can't imagine how bad their cars stink, jizzing all over them all the time. Or how bad they smell after having orgies anytime they drive anywhere with nothing but a random towel to "clean off".

Speaking of sex. They constantly say they heal through sex but like...its so inappropriate. Like, hey baby, I know you were kidnapped by your uncle (orchestrated by your father in law), you were drugged and sexually abused over and over by the guy we thought was your uncle, then we thought he was your dad, turns out he was just your mom's ex (whew), found out your father in law jerked off to video footage of it, you were so stressed about it you went into shock like 5 minutes ago...you wanna bang it out? OMG

The nicknames for her, the way they spoke to each other and acted. It was just all so cringey and gave me the ick. Like, there's this girl at school she meets and instantly hates and calls her names like jizz bucket and cum dumpster when our girl is literally drinking sperm from a condom. She is the dictionary definition of a cum dumpster. The irony kills me.

If you just want porn with a dash of story, this book is for you.

Godddddd the main character is just so unlikeable and unrealistic. She has the fashion sense of a toddler (literally I cannot fathom how she could get away with a rainbow wedding to a BLACK KNIGHT that doesn’t make any sense), totally a pick me, and the way she speaks is insane (like not the British slang, but she says “Your Vagisty to refer to her cooch and things like “hashtag-obvs).

In my review of the last book, I was thankful that there wasn’t a pregnancy storyline, but I spoke too soon as this book is mostly about her being pregnant. Which is also insanely unrealistic (if Loki is such a “sex god or however they wanna describe him, then he would know better than to wait over 24 hours for the morning after pill. Hell, with how many partners this man had prior to MC, I’m shocked he doesn’t just have them on him).

The writing is honestly not great but not terrible. Like I said before in my review of the last book, this reads like a mid-tier wattpad fic that you read because you’ve gotten through all the good stuff. I half expected links to outfits and for the MC to “throw her hair up in a messy bun and put on a band tee with how the writing is. And oh my god I’m surprised the MC isn’t split in two with how much sex they have. I started skipping through sex scenes, which is how I finished this so fast. Like every single problem is solved with sex, and life just doesn’t work like that.

I’m pushing through this series because I’m so curious as to how the “plot ends, which dragged its feet in this book honestly. I have been tempted to quit because of how damn unlikeable the MC is (I cannot see her actually realistically getting 4 men to tolerate her), but I have nothing else to read so I guess I’ll finish it out. I wouldn’t if I didn’t have Kindle Unlimited.

NOTE: this series needs so many trigger warnings. A lot of the triggers are just unnecessary too. There are two separate instances of sexual assault of minors that I was not prepared for at all. There’s also conversation about domestic abuse that is so bad it leads to hospitalization. This book series is so unhinged.

2.5 star rating

Kai gets one star
The rest of the lads get another star
Jax’s mum gets the half star. Out of all the fucked up parents I liked her and was horrible what happen to her.

Lily is just a self less, attention seeker cow.

This was the worst dark romance, reverse harm book I have ever read, yet the first book and the novella I actually enjoyed.

The spice was wayyyyyyyyy to much, like there was no need to keep reading how lily was fully getting rammed out every god damn 10 seconds. This book could have been so much better if the author had concerned on more on the plot.

Like this bit was gushing like she was a bloody water fountain, like I don’t want keep reading about that, I wanna know what happened to boys and their dark childhood past.

And the fact that poor Kai just kept getting pushed to the side really annoyed me, like all the guys have gone through some heavy shit, so by now in book 2 we should know abit more, but nooooooooo. It’s all about lily and her stupid care bear flashing trainers and what fucking clothes she’s wearing and how the guys basically do everything for her.

AND don’t get me started on their ages, cause what they were doing does not fit right with how old they are. Like I’m sorry, they ain’t Ryat, son or bloody Tyson. These guys and the fanny gushing girl are still kids.

Yeah thank god I can still send back this book cause I need my money back, so I can go treat myself to a better book, seeing as I WASTED MY GOD DAMN TIME.

And hell on this earth will I read the last or final book, I was buddy reading this with my girl, so she’s taking one for the team and gonna read the last book and fill me in.

Squeals.

The damn twists , turns, darkness continues to lace the second instalment of this series is GRIPPING. It absolutely leaves you devouring the pages. Let alone drooling after four of the most gorgeous hunky men who YES YES I've said it once and I'll say again will leave you swooning and dickmatized.

Lily's strength continues to grow and her badassary sass is GOALS. Let alone her new BFF Erica who DAMN she is just like Lily and together they will wreck havoc.

“You were made for us, Lilly Darling. Every atom belongs to the four of us, just as every part of us is yours. You make us greater than the sum of our parts until we become more than we ever thought possible. You are as vital as the blood that pumps in our veins, as crucial as the air that we breathe. You are our beating heart, and our souls are bound together for all eternity.

The love, desire, chemistry & passion HEATS UP in this book and damn the MM action is perfection. Each of their interactions absolutely leave you wanting your own slice.

The drama and mysteriousness continues and my theories i feel are coming true but THANK GOD! i started this series just as book 3 landed because the ending to book two honestly *SCREAMS & THROWS KINDLE*

Holy hotness, suspense and more! This follow up to Captured is everything I could have dreamed of wanting and so much more. Rosa didn’t hold back on the panty-melting steam and she brought me deeper into the threshold of the story that is the Black Knights and their queen Lilly.
I finished this second installment in less than 24 hours! Just when I thought I couldn’t live Lilly anymore, she proves me wrong by showing just how strong she is and how deep her love is for her men. This young woman keeps her wit and tongue in cheek humor even when the tests that arise shows just her vulnerable her men are, yet she guides them all back to her light.
The guys - oh these guys. They all have my heart as the darkness that their parents have woven around them threaten to drown them all. Only the light of Lilly’s love saves them as the twists and turns take a darker edge. I love how each of them didn’t break, they only become stronger and more cunning.
I seriously couldn’t put this down, between the heat, the surprise twists and the scream worthy cliff-hanger I am completely team Lilly and her Black Knights. I am dying to see where Rosa takes this!!

Broken Book Therapist Reviews

This book hurt... sometimes in a healing way but a lot of times in a crushing way. This book hits on some very heavy child @buse of a lot of types so if that is a trigger for you, this series might be a rough go. Additionally keep in mind the main characters are all 18/19 years old, so if you are expecting adults handling adult situations, that isn't really the case. It is kids thatvhave been thrust into adulthood making the best of it. For a debut series, this author has done a great job of bringing raw struggle to the surface, a whole lot of spice, and enough drama and plot to keep it interesting!
