Description Tyler isn’t sure of anything in his life except for how much he wants to belong, whether it’s to the group of bikers who’ve asked him to join their club as a prospect or to the little girls who need him as the steady parent in their life.
When a lie is told that could jeopardize the family he’s working so hard to create and protect, Tyler feels like he has no other choice but to follow through with it. Luckily, August vows to stand beside him through it all.
August has had a tumultuous few months, moving to Tenillo and then meeting the father she’d long thought dead. After joining Tyler’s club family along with her aunt, she feels like she finally found a place to belong surrounded by the men and women of the Time Served MC. Now, everything is changing at an even faster pace, but she’s more than happy to hold on for the wild ride.
Lies are horrible - they can destroy a person’s life. But for Tyler and August, a lie told in the heat of the moment is the best thing that’s ever happened to either of them. That lie is going to change everything, even their names.
4.6 stars. Finally, we get answers about what Twilight has been up to! And it’s definitely not what I expected. Nothing about this book was as expected honestly. In a good way.
The sex was hot, if a bit brief for my smuttaholic tastes. The plot was crazy and fun and a totally intriguing twist of fate. The relationship was only briefly worked on but it was so sweet and endearing.
Really my biggest and only complaint here is that things just happened So fast, and then flew by. I would’ve really liked at least 100 more pages to see them together and working towards finding their happy.
Still. That epilogue was so freaking happy and cute. I’m so glad we got to see these two make a life for themselves and their kids. And once again, I can’t wait to see who’s next. I’m still crossing my fingers for Hammer’s story. That crazy man needs a crazy woman to keep him in check.
I just loved this one. Twilight got and new road name that was so much better. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. Love and cute little girls.
Prospecting for the Tenillo Guardians MC has been one of the best decisions Tyler has made. Tyler is working hard to get custody of his sisters three children, but with his past he knew it would be an uphill battle. Having a lawyer in the MC has definitely helped and Tyler is saving and doing everything to ensure he gets them. When Tyler is sent with August, Captain's daughter and paralegal at the firm to talk to the case worker a lie slips out. A lie that manifests into something Tyler never imagined. Maybe it is fate or hope, but Tyler and August find that it maybe the best thing that could ever happen to them.
This was great, I was always curious about Tyler and his story did not disappoint. August is wonderful, they do find themselves in a bit of a pickle though with hiding what is happening from their family. Another great read.
I didn't see Tyler and August together, but that was mostly because neither showed up much in the series, yet they really worked. I liked that when August over stepped, then explained why, both of them decided that if they did this, then they were 100% in and it was going to be real. I also understood why they wanted to keep it a secret, they needed that time alone to start to build their relationship and bond with the girls.
While it was rough coming out to all the family, they all quickly saw it was a good thing and were behind them. I especially loved that Tyler got to see that his new brothers noticed all that he did, with no one asking or anyone give him some extra for what he put in.
The ending had me smiling, loved seeing these two and their growing family happy in the future.
Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. I’m sort of quoting the end - August uses flirtation and feminine wiles and a bit of an airhead act- but not really- to get herself in an entanglement. I repeat for those in the back: An entanglement with August. (Yeah you read that right.) (Now sing it as you read the rest) Twilight/Tyler/Rodeo Tyler starts off as the prospect known as Twilight the sparkly vampire hottie and metamorphosed into the man everyone can depend on: Rodeo He’ll help in anyway he can, construction, fire pits, outdoor ovens, Tiger taming, horse care, lap dances, multiple orgasms- he’s your guy. These two create an instant family by taking on adopting Tyler’s nieces. It’s really a great story. Special Thanks to the author for writing such a fabulous book for my collection.
This is the 17th book in the Tenillo Guardians series (but the 9th book about the Time Served MC). While it is a standalone, I truly believe that reading the previous books 1-16 in the series will enhance your enjoyment of this book. This book is about Twilight/Rodeo (aka Tyler Jackson) of the Time Served MC and August Wilkes. Twilight is a prospect in the TSMC, and Captain is his mentor and also August’s father. Tyler is trying to get custody of his 3 nieces and when August tries to help a new complication arises, but that complication allows Tyler to have everything he’s always wanted. Of course, there are a couple of secrets and when they are revealed in an epic way, he might lose everything. August does her best to make sure none of that happens This book has it all it sexy times, laughs, a few answers and new some questions but especially how Twilight (Tyler) came to be called Rodeo instead. Cee writes stories of wonderfully strong women who meet and fall for strong, protective alpha males and this one is no exception. I really would love to be part of this girl tribe (aka the Crazy Coven). This series is a bit darker than her other series, but I loved it. A few more clues as to what is going on in the not-so-sleepy town of Tenillo, Texas but we will need to read more stories to get all the answers. I can’t wait for all the rest of the stories and if I could; I’d live in Tenillo, TX. The series will alternate between the Time Served MC (by Cee Bowerman) and the Ares Infidels MC (written by Ciara St James).
Straight up swoon-y awesome Rodeo (Time Served MC Book 9) by Cee Bowerman is a straight up awesome romance read. It’s got a little bit of everything; MC, rom-com, heat, heart, sweet and sass just to name a few. Tyler stole my heart immediately and August is absolutely perfect! I love how they both admired and desired each other secretly then bam! These go from zero to one twenty in a heartbeat. August and her quick thinking or runaway mouth get them into a pickle or maybe it’s actually perfection. Overall, Tyler/Twilight/Rodeo and August’s love story is a highly entertaining read that is both high with the heat generating between these two wonderful characters and full of heart as they both fight for the family they both want very much. Not to mention the MC aspects as well as the crazy coven shenanigans! So really, as far as I’m concerned, what’s not to love about this book? Nothing, absolutely nothing! I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.
Rodeo goes above and beyond to help his family and brotherhood out.
In the previous books in this series it was hinted that Tyler might be doing something illegally with the extra cash he has. In the meantime August telling a lie in front of a child services employee. That lie turned into a quick marriage hidden from their families. It was wonderful watching Tyler and August's love unfold and their love and commitment to one another. The icing on the cake was finding out exactly what Tyler was doing late at night. Oh and let's not forget enjoying the Crazy Coven. Plus how boss finally got his men under control when they bicker amongst themselves I couldn't stop laughing at all of the antics through the story. Cee you are my favorite author. I read books from other authors to hold me over until another one of your books from your different series becomes available. Thankfully August 15 The Tempest book 5 will be available. I can't wait.
Book nine is Tyler and August book August helpful lies turns into an amazing story of love determination to build a family for them both and 3 little girls but there are things Tyler aka twilight aka rodeo is keeping which was so totally unexpected but secrets revealed puts all of what Tyler has been building in jeopardy. But with August in his corner to help fight and make people see Tyler is a person who is worthy of love respect a family and unconditional support. Cee has yet again manage to write a story that sucks you in and makes you want to read and forget about the real world cant wait for you next time served book or the next book in general only 13 days and we can sucked back into cee amazing writing read this book 5 stars doesn't seem enough
I have loved Tyler from the moment he appeared. He is such a sweet guy, I dare you to find something not to like and no his criminal past and such doesn't count! My love exploded into adoration the moment his book dropped into my hands. He is everything I could hope for and more. August's full on, bald-faced fabrication brings them together. That said, they both have been eyeing each other so they jump in with both feet and don't look back. Their story was a complete and utter delight. I had so much fun watching them build a life together! While I'm a little sad that he won't be called Twilight, his new name makes me smile every time I see it. There truly aren't enough stars to encompass how I feel about this couple. I have to give them all the stars, always and forever!
I loved this story. Tyler has had my attention from his introduction in Jenn & Boss's book. He became even more intriguing in Kitty's book. When I saw what the title of the book was I thought I figured out what he was doing but boy was I wrong....lol. Tyler is actually one of my fav's. He's sweet, humble, hard working, caring and from the sounds of it really great looking. August I wasn't too sure about previous to this book but we get to know her much better and she's wonderful as well. Together they are a great!! My heart went out to Tyler and his reasoning on why he was doing so much...to be accepted. What he was doing for his nieces is not small feat. All in all this was a good one and we had the hilarious fun night out with the Coven....that's all I'll say about that.
This is one of my favorites, I really enjoyed how C. Bowerman brought "Twilight" and August together. The crazy just doesn't stop. As usual The Crazy Coven makes a splash. 4 stars honestly because backstory feels a little off. I'd make it 4 1\2 if I could because its just a small thing but I noticed it and was waiting for " Something" up to the end. I don't read the other series , although I've tried numerous times, so maybe I'm just missing something. If that's the case then everyone ... Its definitely 5 ! You should buy it anyhow , you won't be disappointed😆
This book is like coming home after a long wait. I love this series, they have all the qualities you need to feel all of that southern comfort. Laughter, heartache and great storyline make this book a must read! The familiar cast of characters brings a sense of coming together after a long wait, I feel the closeness and love coming off the pages. Beautifully written, I just wanted to keep reading and for it not to end. Alas, all good things come to an end. This book is the real deal and worth every minute of your time. Enjoy, I know I did bravo, Rodeo!
I love this series even more with every new book I read! This was a fantastic story that was hilarious, full of drama, a bit of angst, and some situations that will break your heart. What started out as a little white lie ends up being the absolute best thing that could've happened to all of them. It's an exciting, crazy, and wonderful story that you certainly won't want to miss! I would highly recommend reading all of this author's work. All of the stories are absolutely fantastic, and you definitely won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.
It takes a while to find out Twilight and Rodeo are the same. I thought there was a mistake, or a strange new guy, until it made sense. How it came about is hilarious because Tyler is so goal oriented and this is not a part of his persona, or it wasn't until later. Tyler and August's impossible goals became mine in this unusual storyline. You will root for them as the layers keep opening and Tyler/Twilight/Rodeo comes out as his total True self. Our coven jumps in late into the game as Tyler and August direct personal, hidden goals for a beautiful future for so many. Loved it.
Oh my was I wrong wondering what kind of trouble Twilight was getting into with him being so secretive in previous books that had his mc guys wondering if he was worth patching in. I enjoyed the secret revelations, the crazy coven shenanigans, and loved how Twilight aka Rodeo's HEA partner fit perfectly into his life too. Tyler had so much love for his nieces he was willing to do whatever he needed to make sure he was given full custody of them & to adopt & care for them as his own too.
I can't wait to see how falls next on this mc series happy reading everyone.
Tyler/Twilight/Rodeo is a determined man. He's working to get custody of his nieces and things don't seem to be panning out. Then she steps in.
August is a powerhouse. She's a young lady that knows what she wants and proceeds to get it. As she's trying to assist Tyler they end up hitched and that's when all the fun begins!
I truly enjoyed this read 📚! There's laughter, tears (made me cry) and true love. Cee Bowerman never disappoints!
I liked this. Thought there was good chemistry between Tyler and August. The insta family was a bit fast but understandable. I felt the author devoted a lot of pages to Tyler’s sister vs revealing more of his motives/ origins.
Matalie’s reaction to her niece’s situation was OTT. Especially considering we are speaking about an adult 22 year old almost college graduate. Whom her aunt spent a large portion of her formative years in prison. August & Matalie are very close and it didn’t read that her attraction to Tyler wouldn’t have been something her aunt would have been aware of.

The somewhat mysterious Rodeo comes in for a happy ending here. His sister has three kids that she can't care for, and Tyler is determined that the three babies won't end up in the system. He is working constantly for the club, running Pop's construction company while prospecting for TSMC. His former foster parents have the girls temporarily, nut he wants to adopt them so they don't grow up the way he did. Love has a way of messing things up, though. August and Tyler have to quick step with their elders to maintain what they have.
I loved it so much! I couldn’t put it down! So many questions answered finally. You just never know what you’re going to get in a Cee Bowerman book - there tends to be a plethora of delightful surprises. I loved every one of them. The crazy coven was just as hilarious as always. The club meetings cracked me up. Rodeo and August’s story itself was sweet and hot. How could you not love Rodeo? Highly recommend!!!
August and Rodeo story was so touching. August's mouth always got her in trouble but her heart is in a good place and she wanted Rodeo.
Married and taking on his 3 nieces was everything August wanted. Rodeo thought to be worthy of her love and others he had to work doing things for his brothers and their wives.
This story was such a great read. August and Rodeo . Life at the TSMC is always interesting and they are growing.
These two are perfect for each other and I totally adore them. Tyler is an addict and spent time in prison, but he's also a very hard worker and wanted to earn every penny he could, so he could adopt his sisters children. August is a paralegal and understood how the system works, so she was there for Tyler's assessment for adoption and knew he'd have better odds if he was married. Some twist and turns and some surprises as well. Happy reading.
I loved this book..it could have went on indefinately..
I loved the fact that that were no bs ..it went straight to the main story..they knew what they wanted and went for it..which was each other and a beautiful family...they didnt let anyone talk them out of their decision to be together..and when she found out what his second job was ..there was no drama..she understood and accepted him ..loved it..please write many more..
When someone wants to make an impression sometimes they go a little over the top. With Tyler that's all he really knew how to make money for the things he wanted. He's in his early 30s and wants to do right for his sisters kids. With August help he does and he finds live and loyalty with the MC. Love this series and all the works by Cee Bowerman. Keep them coming.
My new favorite couple! I just can’t, every time Cee Bowerman releases a book, I’m swooned all over again. I was in book rump and when I saw another one of her series come out, it just takes me out of that rump. Rodeo and August’s story is downright swoon worthy and I can’t for the life of me stop singing the tune; “I’m in love with a stripper! Another awesome one for Cee Bowerman!
This is a wonderful story with characters that will make you get so emerged in it that you will forget about time passing. Rodeo and his MC princess have a grand time finding their HEA. This has no cheating and no cliffhanger. Some secrets are revealed, hurt feelings smoothed over, and a showdown within the MC after secrets are revealed. A very good read. Highly Recommend the series and this story. Enjoy.
I found this book to be quite a sweet read, I loved both Tyler and August and really liked how they came together. I’ve said a few times what I like about most of the MC books I read is that feeling of family and I feel that this book is the epitome of that as that is exactly what Tyler and August aiming to build. This book was an enjoyable read and one that I would recommend.
This one has a lot of diversity. Enjoyed every single minute. August & Twilight’s connection is very smooth even during the angst. Both were developed very well and quickly; although thoroughly.
I loved the direction of them adopting his nieces. One other thing I’m simply crazy about is how u give us a taste of their future without having to download an additional novela. I definite recommend the book and the series.
