These are a mix of supernatural and regular stories. One is gruesome and is about what happened to a very young child. Another involves a death that might or might not be a suicide.
There's a fascinating story about a cursed movie script, a mind control story and a very interesting one about a man who claimed to be from a country that does not exist on this Earth but seemed to have documents backing his story up. It's something I've read before and one I consider significant.
Why would anyone go to the trouble to make the documents he had and where was he actually from, what happened to him and is there actually a possibility of a multiverse? The best story in the book.
This book contains some interesting little puzzles. I was familiar with "the boy in the box" in the 1950s, which is still unsolved and likely to remain so. This event really happened, and the boy has never been identified.
I was totally unfamiliar with the other stories and wonder how they could ever be considered resolved. Regardless of whether you believe any or all of these occurrences ever happened, they make for some good reading.
Really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more in this series. Five 's. Also, the case RE: the Boy in the Box has been recently and officially solved - the young man's name was Joseph Augustus Zarelli.....
