if there’s one book to define what a true love story is, it would be this book. the unexpected twists of the plot truly kept me on edge, i found myself screaming into my pillow at times and having butterflies in my stomach. couldn’t recommend it more!
Witty, sweet, tragic and romantic. Relatable and fantastical all at the same time. I had so much fun getting to know Violet and Ophelia and want to join their friendship and become part of their families.
Vivienne Wilde had a Life Plan, it gave her a sense of peace and order . She knew what comes next. Until life presented her with very unexpected twists and surprises. This is the theme that runs through this thoroughly enjoyable and thrilling book life is often unpredictable but can also be glorious in the end . A picture is worth a thousand words . I felt the same sentiment reading this book. The characters and scenery is well described, making it possible to see them as real, and feel their emotions.. even picture them in the settings. I couldn’t wait to turn the next page . I would recommend this book to fans of romance , and it really is a clean romance just as described, very refreshing to find!
What starts as such a simple story unravels and builds in unexpected but oh-so-satisfying directions. The characters are so full and real. And the scenes that really get to you catch you completely off guard in the best way. Devoured this book in 4 hours, I can't recommend it enough!
‘The course of true love never did run smooth. The Bard
I loved reading this book! I loved the fullness of the characters, their feelings and their motivations are real and believable and easy to get invested in. I wanted to be part of their 'family'.
Love this love story! A lot happening but not too much. Finding love but not in a rush. Its not just a romance, its about friends. And good people who care, not just chasing their own ends. Surprises all along the way... And ultimately everyone's happy at the end of the day :)
Currently, I am halfway through this book but I could not wait to voice my thoughts! So far, it is a fantastic read! I have particularly enjoyed the intricate descriptions of the temperament and settings of the characters. I can imagine myself in the room with each character, seeing what they are seeing and feeling what they are feeling. Very immersive! I appreciate that the authour kept the book clean as advertised. Looking forward to reading the rest as the suspense/romance is brewing! I'll be back again when I finish :) Thanks for a great read author!
Delightful read. I really enjoyed the character development, finding that I related to their feelings. Even the millionaire socialites have very down-to-earth experiences and emotions. I also have a newfound appreciation for the messages conveyed by flowers! Looking forward to more books from this author.
As the author of this book, I can hardly be objective. But I loved writing it and I truly hope people will enjoy reading it, getting to know the characters and sharing in theirs highs and lows before the ultimate happy ever after...
Great read and a real achievement for first time author Clodagh. I found the characters interesting and the plotline, of a perfectionist obsessed with a life plan, one many can relate to. Violet is a woman on a mission, capable and determined but also reflective and thoughtful. She is also somewhat naive and she can be a little frustrating. In the end it's a lovely romantic story.
Book Review Title Planned to Perfrection Author Clodagh O My Ratings 4.7/5 Hello, Dear Readers. I know you have all read love stories, and I know you enjoy them because they often contain an exciting love element, such as how the protagonists first meet and what happens to them after that, or how they remain together through thick and thin. So, I recently came upon a book by Clodagh O called Planned to Perfrection. The book is a Love Story that stands alone; don't be offended by the intentionally misspelt title. The protagonist of the narrative is Violet Wilde, a florist with a meticulously ordered existence. She was organised, accomplished her goals, and always knew what to do next. Along with Violet, Ophelia St. Cyr, who shared Violet's zest for chaos and best friend status, is also included in the book. But, as the saying goes, only God's plan ultimately succeeds, regardless of how well one plans. Similar to how Hadleigh Pearce's entrance into their lives was only the first of several shocks that would completely upend Violet's world, Can planning, even if Violet had planned her life, bring her comfort now that her life has been upended and her future is uncertain? Learn more by reading the book. The novel is more like a movie, where despite many hardships, everything turned out to be magnificent in the end. Throughout the story, one of the nicest aspects was the character growth, and I especially enjoyed Violet and Ophelia's bond. The novel has a high level of genuineness, in my opinion, as it was a pleasure to read about them and I could easily see myself in the same setting. Overall, I really enjoyed the plot and the way it flowed and made sense. The book's turns and turns were fascinating to read and dramatically altered the situation, but towards the end, everything was well. It was an engaging book for which I was completely engrossed. The title and book cover fit the plot perfectly, and the reading is excellent and simple to understand. I fervently urge each and every one of you to read the book.
The central character in this book, Violet, is a florist with big plans. She's humble and easy to like. You can't help empathise with her as things in her life start to go wrong and she has to come to terms with losing control.
What's most enjoyable is the supporting cast, a variety of rich and diverse characters whose relationships with Violet and each other are built over time, which allows for real connections and, ultimately, real romance.
I have gone back to a number of chapters to re-read the fun exchanges in conversations and many very quotable quotes about life and love.
