Wow this book! I love all Elle Mitchell's books but this one really takes the cake. Its gritty, raw, sexy and I loved every bit of it. Elle really has a way of creating character's that jump off the page and you can't help but resonate with them. This was a top read for me in 2023.

Ally is broken but one hell of a strong heroine for what she has to endure. Devon has a hard exterior but you can't help but love him and how much love he has for Ally throughout. The mystery surrounding them was so well done and I loved the dual timeline format of the book.

And the sexy scenes oooooh they were spicy!! Like really spicy.

I can't wait to see what else this author does! Fan for life.

Wow this book! I love all Elle Mitchell's books but this one really takes the cake. Its gritty, raw, sexy and I loved every bit of it. Elle really has a way of creating character's that jump off the page and you can't help but resonate with them. This was a top read for me in 2023.

Ally is broken but one hell of a strong heroine for what she has to endure. Devon has a hard exterior but you can't help but love him and how much love he has for Ally throughout. The mystery surrounding them was so well done and I loved the dual timeline format of the book.

And the sexy scenes oooooh they were spicy!! Like really spicy.

I can't wait to see what else this author does! Fan for life.

I highly suggest everyone run and get this book.

I quite literally felt butterflies the entire time I read this book. Rayanne and Calebs story was so cute, and put me right in the Christmas spirit. Loren had a way of keeping me turning the page I nearly read the story in one sitting! The sexual tension between the characters throughout was so well done, I can't wait to see what happens to them in future books. I definitely want more.

Elle Mitchell's super power is creating relatable characters with complex backstories that she effortlessly weaves into the plot. From the moment I started reading I just had to find out the history between Mila and Tristan and why they had such strong feelings of hate towards each other. Elle pulled me right in from page one. What can I say? I absolutely adored this book. Elle did a phenomenal job getting me so invested in Maddie and Ezra's story I was so sad when it was done. I'm such a sucker for small town romances. This book was an emotional ride! It was my first hockey romance, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I was invested in Evie from the very beginning and especially once I found out what happened to her. Watching her go through her emotional healing was my favorite part of the book.
Rose did an incredible job building tension throughout the book. Her developing relationship with Max, her complicated relationship with her brothers, and running into her tormentors from the past all made for really great internal/external conflict and tension. I felt it throughout the whole book.

I kept wanting to turn the page to see what happens which I love in a book.
Max was my favorite character. He is the typical hockey player (player) that unexpectedly falls for his best friends/teammates sister. I love how he ended up with a girl who makes him a better person rather than going for the easy girls who fawn at his feet. The m&m reference was just perfect! The climax of the book was intense! Check your triggers before reading.

I can’t wait for book two of the series to come out. Rose did a great job setting up other books with her strong side characters.
