However, the middle reminded me why I love reading Marie Lu's books so much. I could visualize every scene, and felt tears well up in my eyes when I was reading certain parts XD (Jax's memories, Sasuke and Hideo's encounter in Zero's mind) In addition, the author included a diverse group of characters with interesting relationships. ;)

I enjoyed reading this book so much! For the people who are curious about this book, the plot revolves around a crew of 6 people who plan an impossible heist. Each of the characters have unique backstories, skills, and challenges that they go through. It is somewhat similar to Ocean's 8, but the movie is definitely uninteresting compared to Six of Crows. In addition, the book has very promising ships :)

I thought that the book was somewhat similar to Siddhartha, a book that tells the spiritual journey of a man. Their journeys take them to many different places, and at each place, they learn something new. Both books end with the main characters finding a place that best suites them. The Call of the Wild is also a bit like Lassie Come Home, except that in the end, Buck joins a wolf pack.

Champion is an absolutely amazing book, and I enjoyed reading it. It is the final book of the Legend trilogy by Marie Lu, and the book series has become one of my favorites. The book takes place in America, except it all happens in the future. I really love this book because it has the ability to put me in the main characters’ shoes. June and Day have very different perspectives, and Marie Lu’s writing lets me see through their eyes and watch everything happen like a movie from different viewpoints. Surprisingly, I also feel the emotions of the two main characters. When Day loses his memory of June, I put myself in June’s shoes and experience the sorrow, confusion, and feeling of loss that she is experiencing. Though Day no longer remembered June and all the things they've been through, June still loved Day. She had to be the one to remember, the one to store all the memories in the bottom of her heart. 10 years later, Day and June meet again. June thinks she can hide her emotions, but at last, she cannot control her mixed emotions of sadness, grief, surprise, and happiness. I almost cried when I read this part. It is almost magical how a few words can bring tears.
