this story tell of a young man who was pretty well off and a pretty good kid who decided to give it all up and create a new path in life. After hitchhiking and traveling the country he found himself caught up in Alaska. one wrong move and an enlightening experience turned around really quick for Chris. This story kept me interested and intrigued. Showing the life and the outcome of Christopher's journey. I would rate this story 4 out of 4 because of the fact that I love biographies and with John Krakauer's insight here and there kept me involved in the book and brought my thoughts into his track but still let me ponder on my own. All in all i would recommend this book to whoever wants a very good biography and adventure sort of book.
