I’m sorry I haven’t posted the May challenge yet. My mom has been in the hospital, so I haven’t had the time with school and work. I will do a May and June challenge that will last over the two months. Very sorry about that!
Thanks for the warm wishes. She is doing better. She's in transitional care now. We came very close to losing her. It's been rough. I'm going to get a combination May/June challenge up in the next couple of days.
Thanks for your patience with me.

DHASG April Challenge
Duration: April 1-April 30, 2019
Rules:
1. Any DHASG member can participate.
2. Sign up at any time during the month, but books must be read between April 1st and April 30th, 2019. Post when you sign up and update your progress regularly and when you finish.
3. Rereads are fine. Reads can overlap with other challenges on the group, but a book can only count once in this challenge.
3. In your stats, write your level, include book name, author, date read, and how it fits the particular challenge point.
4.Have fun!
Levels:
1. It's Raining Books: Read 9-13 books.
2. Green Dream: Read 5-8 books.
3. Spring is In: Read 3-4 books.
Categories:
1. April Fool's Day: April 1st is April Fools Day, a day for tricks and pranks. Read a book with a character who is a regular trickster or a book in which a big prank or joke is a big part of the story.
2.Children's Book Day: April 2nd is a day set aside to celebrate children's book. Read a children's book or juvenile/middle grade book, or read a book that has a character who writes children's books or reads children's books to kids.
3.PB and J Day: April 2nd is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Read a book to celebrate this legendary combination. You could read a book that has a duo that complements each other beautifully, for example. Here are some other PB and J facts:
4.Fight For The Right To Party: World Party Day is April 3rd, a day for synchronized, world-wide partying. Read a book about an epic party.
5.Make Work Fun!: Since April 3rd is "Don't Go to Work Unless It's Fun Day" let's ponder the idea of a job that is fun. Read a book with a character who is lucky enough to have a fun job.
6.Reconciliation Day: April 2nd is Reconciliation Day, a day on which people are encouraged to patch up and make amends in broken relationships. Read a book with this theme.
7.Library Love: The first week of April is Library Week. Give libraries some love by checking out a book to read for this challenge. Alternatively, read a book that has a character who works in a library or in which a library is a setting in some part of the book.
8.Go For Broke: April 5th is Go For Broke Day. Read a book where a character takes an incredible chance to achieve a long-treasured goal or makes an enormous sacrifice to achieve something. They aren't playing it safe.
9.All Things Scottish!: National Tartan Day is on April 6th, a day to celebrate Scottish heritage. The tartan refers to the patterned plaid that is distinctive to specific clans/families. Read a book that features Scotland, Scottish culture, or Scottish characters.
10.All Is Ours!: April 8th is this day. It means whatever you think it means. Read a book that reflects what this phrase means specifically to you.
