Wild. I feel like I like the movie more, but they’re just different enough to be hard to compare. Great book though. Look forward to the next one. ]]>

Reads like a more biblically sound divine comedy. One where the Bible was actually read and understood before writing this story. Kind of would have liked to see what this would look like if it was a bit of a longer story. ]]>

This book is tragic. Not in the sense that you might be thinking. It doesn’t revolve around the death of a beloved character (well not exactly) but around the death of a man’s care. Care for anything. What we learn in this book is that the true outcome of the sadness we allow ourselves to fester in is a deep indifference to the world. One so deep that one can’t even attempt to care for something they should. Family, relationships, living, all of it gets swept into this numbing indifference. And it is through this numbing that we become strangers to the world. ]]>

These Mark 9 books are super helpful. This little number goes over the different kinds of evangelism and the importance of cultivating an evangelistic culture in one’s church. Doing this means that the body of Christ works together for the common goal of evangelism which is less daunting than it being the full responsibility of the individual Christian. This book makes the point that evangelism is collaborative, it involves more than just one person having one conversation, many different Christians could potentially be involved in the salvation on an individual, and they may all have a different role to play in that process, but in the end it’s all for the same cause. The cause of Christ. It’s a good book, definitely worth a read. It definitely got a little repetitive in some parts but still good. ]]>
