The Wim Hof Method by Wim Hof
"Fantastic I’m 1000% bought in. Looking at the reviews below I think some people had issues with the length of time it took for the actual scientific journals to be cited but the last 3 hours of the book was mainly just source citing which I actually appreciated. I loved how inspirational this book was as well I wasn’t expecting that. "

The Book of Boundaries by Melissa Urban
"The first half of this book was 5 stars but she lost me after that. I found this book very helpful in terms of skills such as the three levels of boundaries and the boundary scripts but I felt like it could have been half as long and I stopped listening at 81%. I haven’t been able to find a book about healthy boundaries that is better than this one so I would just recommended reading half and then calling it a day unless you find all of the specific boundary examples helpful. With that said this book helped me realize what boundaries even are and how to set them kindly. "

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson
"At first I thought the author was an asshole and was skeptical he would convince me not to give f****, since I give SO many f****. BUT as I continued to listen I started to like the author and the general take away of the book, which is not to not care, but instead choose what to care about based on values you are cognizant of with the realization that life will always have pain, so select what pain you want. Anyways, I appreciated it. "

There is something special about a coastal morning. The day seems to have so much more potential when there’s a seaside attached to it. Perhaps it’s the brightness from the water, scrubbing everything clean like a front step, ready for you to start again. Joanna Cannon

Along the western slopes of the Oregon Coastal Range . . . come look: the hysterical crashing of tributaries as they merge into the Wakonda Auga River . . . The first little washes flashing like thick rushing winds through sheep sorrel and clover, ghost fern and nettle, sheering, cutting . . . forming branches. Then, through bear-berry and salmonberry, blueberry and blackberry, the branches crashing into creeks, into streams. Finally, in the foothills, through tamarack and sugar pine, shittim bark and silver spruce—and the green and blue mosaic of Douglas fir Ken Kesey
