Genome to Om by Bhushan Patwardhan
"Bhushan's "Genome to Om" is a thought-provoking examination of the human mind, consciousness, and the concept of "self." It examines the brain's structure and functions and discusses various psychological and philosophical perspectives on thinking and knowing, including quantum thinking. The book also explores the relationship between the brain and the mind, drawing upon Eastern and Western philosophies.
The subtitle of the book offers an insight into the book's content – Evolving Journey of Modern Science to Meta-science... for those who are interested in knowing about life, human body, consciousness and meaning of many things related to human beings, the book will be a fine read. "

The Quest of Sushruta by Ajaya Kashyap
"Dr Ajaya Kashyap’s The Quest of Sushruta is a breathtaking exploration of the origins of surgery and ancient Indian medicine. Through Sushruta's eyes, readers witness the blending of scientific inquiry with spiritual compassion. The detailed portrayal of surgeries, herbal remedies, and anatomical insights reveals the roots of modern medicine. Sushruta’s philosophical dilemmas—whether to adhere to tradition or challenge it—add depth to the narrative. The vivid descriptions of ancient Vrindavan and Kashi transport readers to a world where healing was a sacred duty. This book is a must-read for anyone seeking to understand the historical and ethical underpinnings of medicine."

Perfect Advisor by JOY GARG
"The book does not take more than 2 hours... even if you are a reader with average speed. However, if you read it to find out the threads of fiction, you may take some time. I did. Read it twice. Once to get the overview of the story and the second time to find out what it was. It was, as others pointed, a one-man show – Ray Singhania. Ray's personality is too magnanimous to be a humane one! He appears like a other worldly gargantuan brilliance embodying a worldly human form.
Joy could not give me proper measures to actually understand Ray's personality when pitted against those with his abilities. All the instances in the story felt like ensuring Ray wins the bought hands down... though it is fun to read, it feels like Bollywood dry-dream with no one to match the guy! Sunny Deol beating a gathering or 200!

The writing is good. Constructing emotional responses is something Joy has done well. However, the story seems to be written in a haste and it could be denser, deeper and more diverse to accommodate serious readers. Right now, it is like a superhero story you can enjoy in pieces. "

LEGACY OF THE LOST WORDS by Ashwini Pratham
"As a woman, it is natural for me to side with the women in the story. Legacy of the Lost Words moved me deeply for many reasons. Mother's, women's and lovers' sacrifices were the most heartbreaking and also heartwarming! Savitri’s sacrifices for her family and Aanya’s quest to understand her grandmother’s choices reflect the complexities of motherhood. The story's emphasis on the importance of empathy and understanding across generations—resonates profoundly. It’s a reminder that every mother carries untold stories, and every daughter has the power to honour them. A beautifully written tribute to the silent strength of mothers everywhere."

Well, more than anything else, on a lighter note, this novel will make you see fabrics with new eyes. Sukriti's lavish yet precise descriptions transform materials from mere cloth into carriers of history - whether it's the mathematical precision of Patola patterns or the storytelling in Kalamkari motifs. The plot's journey structure serves as the perfect vehicle to showcase India's diverse textile traditions. What could have been dry educational content becomes thrilling through the team's urgent quest to source materials against deadlines. The Tirupati chapter, where traditional motifs meet modern fashion needs, particularly sparkles with creative energy. A feast for the senses and the mind. ]]>
