Sea of Tranquility was a perfect book to close out my yearly reading goal with. No notes, really. Just good fun, well-plotted fiction. I really want to check out some of the author’s other books.

This book was so engaging that I had to break my No Long ŷ�� Review 2025 rule. Butter was incredibly fun to read but hard to digest afterwards (as if I’d ingested a pad of butter). My biggest problem was that I’d expected the book to focus on the serial killer aspect - its tagline is, after all, “A Novel Of Food And Murder.�� I enjoyed the end product because of its thorough discussion of feminism and fatphobia, but didn’t get much from the plot.
