A beautiful small town, unexpected twists, a bit of danger and suspense made this a hard story to put down and I found myself turning pages quickly. Bree has been a side character in the first two novels of the series, and I love how her character has developed and how she and Mitch work together easily, with a friendship sprouting with each understanding the how the other’s childhood has influenced who they are as an adult. Bree’s training also led her to easily understand Mitch and the social difficulties he faces due to his Autism/Asperger’s diagnosis. WHAT THEY DON’T KNOW is the third in Susan Sand’s MOONSHINE, GEORGIA series, which is lovely to revisit, but can easily stand alone if this is your starting point. I highly recommend going back to the beginning after reading this one.

"I love visiting Moonshine Georgia and this was no exception. This was a hard book to put down, kept me turning the pages until late at night. Loved the characters, Mitch a GBI agent on the autism spectrum joins with Bree a clinical psychologist to find the killer of a former patient of Bree's. But what they find is a big twist in the story.

This book had it all, mystery/suspense, slow burning romance, a wonderful group of friends and an adorable little dog, Tiny. I can't wait to read the next book."
