There's honestly no way to sum up how much I loved this book.

"Red, White & Royal Blue" by Casey McQuiston reimagines 2020 as a delightful and optimistic tale of unexpected romance. It centers on the evolving relationship between Alex, the First Son of the United States, and Henry, a British prince. What starts as a public rivalry quickly transforms into a passionate love affair, all while they navigate the pressures of their high-profile lives and political intrigue.

The book is a lighthearted and humorous read, blending romance, comedy, and political drama seamlessly. It's a charming story that avoids extreme highs or lows, instead offering a consistently engaging and heartwarming experience. A key highlight is the compelling dynamic between Alex and Henry, who not only fall deeply in love but also experience significant personal growth throughout their relationship. The intimate scenes are tastefully written and contribute to the development of their bond.

It was just such a fun read. It was pretty light, and just so funny. And the romance just made my heart sing.
Be prepared for an absolutely swoon-worthy confession that will have you cheering for this beloved couple! ]]>

I am in love with these stories!

Step back into the enchanting world of Funiculi Funicula, the quaint Tokyo cafe where time isn't just a concept, but a destination. Tales from the Cafe is the much-anticipated sequel to Before the Coffee Gets Cold, diving deeper into the lives touched by a truly extraordinary opportunity. Here, amidst the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, a single table and chair—always occupied by a mysterious woman in white—holds the key to a journey through the past or future.

This latest collection pours out four captivating stories, each steeped in a customer's poignant desire to revisit a moment gone by. Imagine: a man longing to share his daughter's wedding news with a dear departed friend; a retired detective hoping to right a past oversight with a forgotten birthday gift for his beloved wife; a son seeking one last, heartfelt encounter with the mother whose funeral he couldn't attend; and a man simply wanting to know if his true love is thriving. These aren't just trips through time; they're profound journeys of the heart.

What makes these tales so deeply moving is the central paradox: why would anyone choose to travel back, knowing full well that the past is immutable? With strict rules—you can't leave your seat, and you've got barely ten minutes before the coffee gets cold—these brief encounters highlight a powerful, universal truth. While you can't rewrite history, the act of revisiting it can utterly transform your perspective on the present. Each story beautifully illustrates that even a fleeting moment in the past can ignite a profound shift in how we understand and navigate our lives today.

OMG WOW!!!

Get ready to fall head over heels for B.K. Borison's "First Time Caller," a delightful blend of contemporary romance and classic rom-com charm that will have you hooked by page 5 and ready to declare it a five-star read by page 25!

Meet Lucie, a single mom whose daughter Maya plays cupid, pushing her to find love by calling a radio romance talk show. Despite a supportive circle, Lucie grapples with a quiet disconnect, but everything shifts when she finds herself undeniably drawn to Aiden, the show's wonderfully cynical host.
What unfolds is an exquisite slow-burn romance that practically crackles with palpable chemistry, weaving together laugh-out-loud humor and moments of deep emotional honesty. Borison's writing is a breath of fresh air—genuine, relatable, and utterly engaging, drawing you into Lucie's heartfelt journey. Adding a unique, immersive twist, the story is sprinkled with radio show transcripts, making you feel like you're right there listening in.
Their banter? Gold.
The slow-burn romance? Chef’s kiss.
The way Aiden starts catching feelings despite his I’m-too-jaded-for-this attitude? Absolutely delightful.
I love the build up tension in this story where it was friendship that slowly built up to love.

If you're looking for a book that stays with you, leaving you with a warm glow, "First Time Caller" is absolutely it. ]]>
