"This is a love letter to Seattle. Lots of descriptions and details going into history of Seattle and its places. It often overshadowed the narrative. The writing drew me in and made me keep reading because it is short. Otherwise, I would have DNFed since I did not care as much for Aaron's drunkenness. I happened to read about the author and it seems like he put himself into Aaron. I liked how Aaron and Erin's perspective sometimes overlapped and sometimes differed. At one moment, I wondered if this was an AI written story... and then Erin's ending threw me off. I was shocked that this is how the book ended. Overall, not a bad read but wouldn't recommend it."
