The Most Secret Memory of Men by Mohamed Mbougar Sarr
"An unruly novel that makes you both think that writing is one of the most relentlessly selfish, unnecessary acts of aesthetic nincompoopery and one of the most rigorous, horizon-widening, uncategorizable acts some people really just need to do. A twisty, globetrotting novel that acts as literary criticism, postcolonial identity searching, mystery/detective story, magical realist ghost tale, a hysterically depressing takedown of the French literati, and a solemn rumination on love, friendship, personality, and the unknowability of people. If I hadn't become ill, I probably would have finished this in a week or so, it's such a page-turner when you let it sink its teeth into you."

Death Spell by David Sodergren
"My new novel Death Spell, out May 1st 2025. I hope you dig it!
Part corporate satire, part ultra-bloody splatterpunk horror. If you thought my recent books had too many nice, likeable characters in them, wait 'til you get a load of *these* scumbags. "

A love letter to Palestine and, most specifically, to the city of Jaffa.

It's beautiful, brutal, and honest. It compelled me to keep on reading and exploring the emotions of its people. ]]>
